Pressure cleaning is a common service that most homeowners experience. So what makes this company…read moreso different? Everything. Let's start with who referred Hydro Pressure Clean to me. A few years ago I replaced my roof at great expense. I paid extra for better materials - that increased the warranty by 5 years - and selected a combination of roof tile colors to create a subtle, custom look. I knew I had to wait a while to let the roof work 'cure' before I arranged for pressure-cleaning. Enough time had passed, so I called the roof company to ask who they recommended to do the work. I didn't want to hire just any company. They gave me one company name - Hydro Pressure Clean. Ok, so I contacted a good company. So what did they do that was so different from other companies? 1. They came to our house and assessed the job to give me a quote. The quote came with an aerial shot of our house. Have you ever hired a company that used a drone like this? Not only did it serve to show us that they considered every part of the property, it also helps to document how everything looked. So if there was damage you'd have proof that something changed - and they have proof of any existing damage before they do the work. It's helpful to everyone. 2. They considered parts of the house that no other pressure-cleaning company ever did. Like the concrete slab under the air conditioner. And the walls that had the beginnings of black mold. And the gutters. They provided a quote that broke down the work so I could select what I wanted - just the roof, roof and walls, etc. 3. Ok this is where they are ROCK STARS. We hired them to do everything on the quote. What they threw in was pressure-cleaning the area rug in the backyard - that I left for them to remove, since they move all furniture - really! I was readied to replace the rug, thinking it was beyond resurrection. They did such a great job that the rug looks new! It stays! They covered our vegetable plants in the middle of the backyard. They could have said it's not near the walls so it's ok but they respected how hard we've worked on our plants and they protected all of them. They were backlogged so our communication/work day was delayed - so they pressure-cleaned all the pavers surrounding a large garden bed gratis. They cleaned all our windows. Even the transom window above the front door. They use a detergent that doesn't make the air smell like bleach. When they left, everything smelled good. They were clean and thorough. They moved everything back to where they were. They were courteous and WONDERFUL. We plan on continuing to use their service. And like the roof company, if anyone asks us who to consider to do pressure-cleaning, we have one name on our list. Hydro Pressure Clean.

The price quoted included the roof, sidewalk and walkway up to our house. They even cleaned our front door! We set up a day for them to come out which happened to coincide with a neighbor down the street who was also getting pressure cleaning done by them. All we had to do to prepare was to clear off our patio and porch. They took care of covering any plants near the roof line. We were concerned about a gardenia tree that we tried to cover ourselves but didn't have enough covering so we asked that they make sure that tree was protected. They did a great job with the landscaping... there were no casualties. The roof, sidewalk, walkway and our front door were very clean! Our front door looked like it had a fresh coat of paint! The nice thing is that you don't have to prepay them. We waited until we got home from work to make sure that we were happy with the work that was done. They accept Cash, Check, Zelle, Cash App & Venmo. They also accept Credit Cards but they charge a transaction fee. We will definitely be using them again!

They left debris all over our roof and painted over brand new stucco, which is actually supposed to cure and not be painted right away. The color that they used to paint. Our house was a dark gray over our light gray. We had a big L on the front of our house that looked awful when I reached out to the company about it they said well, it's not the same color so probably just best to paint the whole front of your house. My husband got up there himself with some matched paint from Sherwin-Williams and fixed it and cleaned all the debris off the roof. We will not be using this company again.

We had done 95% of the job but got stuck in corners and creases where our lack of experience became an issue in getting the job done perfectly. He came out, quoted me a price, we agreed and he said he'd start. He came 2 weeks later. When he arrived he brought an uncle to help him. Long story short, they BUTCHERED my door, frame and posts. They didn't bother edging the porch posts/joists and I ended up having to repaint my entire porch-- which had been newly painted about a month prior to their arrival--because the wood stain was EVERYWHERE! The gouges on my door frame are atrocious and cannot be repaired by simple sanding as there'd be no frame left :/ The door that I hadn't wanted to damage looks worse than if I had just continued to work at the areas myself! Also, he found I had a rotten wooden porch post and agreed to replace it. He went off to Shell Lumber to buy the White Oak post to repair it. When he returned I commented that he'd bought the wrong wood but he gave me some story about it being simply a different cut method. When I finally got the receipt a week or so later, I was correct--he'd purchased Douglas fir :/ Then, part of the work I did hire him to do included creating the screen and surrounding wood frame for each individual square on my old wood screen door--about 10 total. I had purchased ~32 linear feet of white oak frame molding. Each square requires about 4'. I had miscalculated and knew I'd be short. He only managed to get 4 squares done with those 32 linear feet :/ Finally, he told me he'd give me a mailbox he'd built that he had laying around in his workshop to replace my old one. He came back said his wife had gifted it to someone but that he'd happily make me another one because he had extra materials. While his uncle butchered the actual project I'd paid HIM to do, he spent his time building the mailbox. He essentially spray painted my old mailbox, drew some design on it, attached it to some pieces of wood, screwed in some house numbers (in a style I don't even like when I had already ordered my own house numbers!) and added some corrugated metal planter boxes for succulents. I didn't like it but kept it to myself since he'd given it to me. I figured I'd simply remove it and replace it with one I like after he left. Ha! When the work was "done" he told me he'd email me the updated statement. I was shocked to see that it totaled more than DOUBLE what we'd agreed to. He charged me $300 for that mailbox (gift my ass!) plus a ton of other shop materials that I know were not used. I paid him what we'd originally agreed to and some of the material costs. We agreed that I'd pay him the rest when he came back to finish the molding work on the screen door when the screen molding was delivered. BS! It cost me another $1,500 to have someone repair his work. He's in over his head. Save yourself the time and trouble and find help elsewhere.
