That all changed when he became 'managed' by his current proprietor. His prices have skyrocketed while the customer service and, most importantly, the quality of alterations have plummeted. He completely botched my bridesmaid dress, my sister's wedding dress and her mother-in-law's dress - to the point where we had to take each piece to an alternate tailor to fix them. Worst yet, they argued that they deserved full payment for the jobs even though the quality was terrible. They also threatened my sister that they wouldn't complete her alterations unless she paid them MORE than they had previously quoted her! I used to refer family and friends to him but I will never set my foot in the door to his shop again. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.

She was so patient and friendly and offered suggestions whenever we each seemed unsure. She strengthened my bustle and eyelet, and straightened the bust (the top was curling outward) as my dress had been previously worn. She also added a "modesty" piece of fabric on my sister's v-neck bust; my sister was so appreciative to not have to worry about falling out that day. Haha.
