The staff here are very nice and the owner Darren has served me many times. The meats are quite varied compared to the selection in the supermarket and the prices are also a bit cheaper. My favourite product from there are bits of chicken breast wrapped in bacon. They are held together with a skewer and have yummy cheese in the middle. They are perfect for a quick dinner when you cannot be bothered cooking and are almost a staple food in my house! Once I had quite a few bags from Boococks and the staff member noticed I was struggling so they helped carry them out to my car - you can't beat that!

Makes the supermarket seem dull. The meat selection, whilst not as large as the local supermarkets, seems to be of higher quality. Prices may be slightly higher on some items also but that's what you expect when the quality is higher. Overall a place I will be including on my shopping route fairly regularly.

Some things you will find quite cheap and other bulk loads over priced so stay calm and use your head. It all depends on days and times Avoid Thursday to Sunday and try avoid mealtimes.. Getting around the store during busy times will be a real pain until people figure this out. Parking on the lower level of the carpark usually works out slightly easier. Don't bother queuing for the elevator. It's quicker to take the ramp than fight the people who have bought two items and apparently lost the use of their legs doing so, resorting to a shopping cart the size of tasmania instead. Just watch out for the people who can't figure out how to walk on the left.

Do not let this momentary inability to define meats stop you from shopping here. It appears there are not that many butchers in Ringwood, or if there are, this one is leagues a head of the rest. Busy until they close, the amount of product that comes through this place is slightly astonishing. It all looks so fresh without the yuck smell you sometimes find in butchers. Great prices, and the staff - while unable to explain the difference between meat and poultry - will help you out for any meal. You say "I'm having a barbeque for me and ten friends", and they'll suggest a number of possibilities.

Beware Eastland Quality Meats and Poultry! It's the butcher at Eastland fresh food market. Mum…read morebrought a whole piece of eye fillet for $75 and when she got it home and cut it up it fell apart. It would seem they glued the left over pieces together using meat glue (chemicals). Dad took it back to the butcher who told dad that he cut it up wrong which wasn't the case. Dad told him so and the butcher said "what r u a fucking expert?"! He then walked off and wouldn't give dad a refund. What great customer service especially considering how bad the retail industry is doing. Take your money to someone else who will appreciate your business!
