Makes the supermarket seem dull. The meat selection, whilst not as large as the local supermarkets, seems to be of higher quality. Prices may be slightly higher on some items also but that's what you expect when the quality is higher. Overall a place I will be including on my shopping route fairly regularly.

Peter has the locals smiling when shopping at his little store, and his fruit & vegetables are always at a comparable price. Best of all, his produce is fresh, and safe form sprays and chemicals you'll get on your food at any of the large supermarket chains. Aswell as fresh fruit and vegies, this fruit shop also stock a selection of gourmet sauces and pastas, mostly of the Maggie Beers collection. Fresh flowers are also available every day of the week, and the footpath outside the store always breathes some colour into your day. Although it may be odd to review a fruit and vegetable store, they are all different. The simple addition of good customer service is enough to rate this store and give it a shout out to all you Yelpers.

The signage - in all it's shiny shiny steel and green lettering and meat hooks - defined a gap between the two, but when I asked one behind the counter he could not explain why. Do not let this momentary inability to define meats stop you from shopping here. It appears there are not that many butchers in Ringwood, or if there are, this one is leagues a head of the rest. Busy until they close, the amount of product that comes through this place is slightly astonishing. It all looks so fresh without the yuck smell you sometimes find in butchers. Great prices, and the staff - while unable to explain the difference between meat and poultry - will help you out for any meal. You say "I'm having a barbeque for me and ten friends", and they'll suggest a number of possibilities.

Beware Eastland Quality Meats and Poultry! It's the butcher at Eastland fresh food market. Mum…read morebrought a whole piece of eye fillet for $75 and when she got it home and cut it up it fell apart. It would seem they glued the left over pieces together using meat glue (chemicals). Dad took it back to the butcher who told dad that he cut it up wrong which wasn't the case. Dad told him so and the butcher said "what r u a fucking expert?"! He then walked off and wouldn't give dad a refund. What great customer service especially considering how bad the retail industry is doing. Take your money to someone else who will appreciate your business!
