I eat tons of hummus and thoroughly enjoyed Lemoona House's style! Everything was great though and I can add that all the party attendees were quite impressed with the culinary treats!! The owner was very kind and only too happy to provide exemplary service. Wow! The food here is exceptional...as in really super good! Drove to Indiana to visit with my friend that owns a nearby coffee/pastry shop (Caffe Amadeus), and asked for a local restaurant recommendation as my son was hungry. Sure am grateful for being sent here! Covid precautions are in effect here. Seated quickly, drink and food orders taken. Very friendly serving staff. The tea I ordered was delicious and minty - I walked out with a box of it. FYI - they sell various grocery items and drinks here. We had the grape leaves (outstanding), a spicey flat bread/pita app (delicious), my lamb-chicken combo plate (super), and my son wolfed down a chicken plate (great per his report). Plates were served with pita bread, rice, and a very tasty fresh salad. This was some of the best food I've enjoyed in quite a while. I now have two reasons to make the long drive from Pittsburgh...a worthwhile trip on two counts...this superb restaurant (and my friend's Caffe Amadeus). If you're from Pittsburgh - make the drive! Everything is incredibly flavorful. The red pepper hummus is so fresh and delicious, you'll want to lick the plate. The Greek pizza has sumac-marinated onions, which are tangy and mellow, lacking the sharp bite most onions have. My friend and I ate there recently for our lunch I had never eaten much Greek food before so at first I was dubious but after some recommendations from the very helpful waiter we decided and it was awesome food the seasoning was just right! I can't for the life of me remember the name of my dish but the chicken on it was delicious seasoned perfectly and not dry! We had the hummus as an appetizer and it's the best I've tasted! The restaurant is super clean not huge but enough. Wait staff super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely go back there to eat again. My father-in-law suggested this restaurant for dinner and wow was it good! We had a nice platter of mixed appetizers (hummus, babaganoush, and pita) and all were delicious. Hubby had gyro, I had the chicken kebab and father in law had the chicken with Turkish spices. All were fresh, tasty (nice coating of seasonings, without being spicy), with rice and salad. The food here is top notch (I like the Lemoona mix because it gives me a little bit of everything- my mom loves the spanikopita... and the cream puffs are DELICIOUS!) Sometimes the service is a little slow, but the workers are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make things right if there are any issues.
