Ahi Tuna Avocado Poke Bowl
Michelle S.

TL;DR - very clean/healthy eating, perfect for after a beach day! i came to pacific city after hanging out with my friends (beach, shopping) & it was so yummy! - the inside is super clean + nice seating and the staff is friendlier than most poke is super good, overall some really good combos & a large menu selection! the lemonade, however, is very very sweet so be careful! i would highly recommend!

Pretty good restaurant with both outdoor and indoor seating. I was surprised at how many food items and sandwiches were offered. I always thought this was just a place for drinks. My buddy and I came here, and I got chicken breast sandwich custom made, and It was great. I don't quite remember what all was on it. It did come with chips. My friend got some type of alad with avocado and tomatoes. He really liked it too. He is dieting. I found it interesting that they don't have strawberry lemonade since that is very popular wherever you go now, but I ot the blood orange and it was very tasty. I will have to remember Lemonade as a place to eat. Pretty good and not that expensive.

This chain restaurant has been around for a while and their lemonade always hits the spot after a hot day. They have an extensive menu that offers protein bowls, sandwiches, and side dishes that compliment their food. Most of the time I just stop by for their lemonade, but in some cases I get a sandwich eithier their steak sandwich chiminchurri with a side of white truffle Mac and cheese or their Mango chicken bowl. The service was very fast and efficient with kind suggestions on other foods. Lemonade and food here is solid!

Food was awesome here. I love the pesto chicken sandwich and tomato soup. They also have sugar free lemonade! However, service is slow and staff are young adults that lack organization. Also, ambiance is not the greatest as there were tables that are left unclean. The floor needs to be mopped and the garbage needs to be emptied.

It's great to be in casual dining where you can mix and match your items. I ordered sides : the Tomato Basil Soup,Brussel Sprouts, Truffle Macaroni and Cheese. The chicken pesto salad sandwich is a nice large portion. Devin was very knowledgeable about all of the menu items. She was kind, professional and checked to make sure we were satisfied.

Chimichurri Steak plate is delicious!

Place is still good but prices have def gone up. Some of their bowls and plates with proteins are $20+ now, but i guess thats normal pricing for this type of food (urban plates, tender greens, etc.). The braised angus was super tender!! Delicious! On top of cauliflower rice - so good! Mashed potatoes were super creamy and the brussle sprouts had a ton of flavor. Still recommend this place but dinners here a drink and dessert will cost u more than $30!

Had a fantastic meal here! I was amazed at the portions for the price....$22 WITH tip and a nice lavender lemonade! Service was a little slow because there was only one girl on the floor and she was totally inundated with DoorDash orders as well as customers but she went above and beyond as she managed the register, took orders, AND served food. Phenomenal job and truly incredible work ethic from this staff member...it's very tough to be understaffed during peak hours and she handled it with so much grace and class. Food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Chicken was succulent and juicy. I will definitely come back to Lemonade again if I'm in Huntington, and would even go out of my way to check out their other locations. Exceptional service and an exceptional meal with a gorgeous view of the sunset :)

MaliaMalia was incredibly helpful in resolving our confusion! As a newcomer, she offered suggestions for options we were uncertain about, and we were happy with the outcomes. Thank you!

The food was aiight, the service was ok, except for the fact that my poke bowls were instantly made but my Turkey sandwich took over 10 minutes to make. I give this place a solid C+. But the view is a perfect 10/10. You're really paying for the view. Decent food. Spectacular views.

Stopped by for lunch on a Monday. Unfortunately they were out of multiple types of proteins. The staff was nice and the restaurant is always clean. The food we got was very tasty,. Definitely a good experience!

Staff was friendly and gave us good recommendations on the food. This place can get busy with the view. Staff does bring your food out outside of the patio where the view is amazing. Cobb salad was drenched in ranch and the turkey was too salty. Steak dish had 4 slices of beef with two sides, which were mediocre. But! The lemonade and the cucumber mint drink was a hit for me. You come here for the views!

Ambiance: cozy dining inside and great ocean view outside, the ordering line could get long easily Service: slow and forgetful, the cashier made mistake, and food was served without napkins and utensils, basically self serving Food & Drink: standard lemonade menu Roasted Turkey BLTA - *** roasted all-natural turkey breast, nitrate-free bacon, avocado, arugula, beefsteak tomato, nut-free basil pesto aioli, Rockenwagner ciabatta, average taste sandwich, house chips included Lavender Lemonade - *** light taste Price: decent quality and reasonable prices, about $15~$20 for a quick bite

For my meal, I ordered the Jolie Omelet with a side of country potatoes. Very delicious, but I wish the omelet had a bit more cheese and bacon. They advertise a butchered ribeye, which had me expecting a thick, properly cut steak with some real presence. What showed up looked more like a thin-cut steak from a Costco multipack. It wasn't terrible, but it absolutely did not match the expectation created by the menu or the price point. We also tried the shrimp & lobster linguine, and that landed squarely in the "mid" category. Nothing offensive, just not particularly memorable or flavorful enough to make you excited about ordering it again. This feels like one of those places where you're paying heavily for the beach location and atmosphere. If that's what you're after, you may enjoy it. If you're coming primarily for the food, temper your expectations. Great setting. Average execution. Premium pricing.

Easy to park in their lot and it was free with validation. Six or so tables along the glass on the patio, and another 4-6 in the dining room, make this a wonderful pace for dinner, apps or drinks while watching a sunset. Mia at the front desk made sure we had a great seat. Phil was our waiter and he took great care of us all evening. A delicious paloma martini got us started and we loved the spicy tuna tartare tacos. The short ribs with pineapple cheesy risotto was yummy and my wife loved the salmon and mashed potatoes. Huge portions and the price was not crazy. Pretty quiet on the patio aside from a few loud motorcycles along PCH. The dining room was a bit louder with the piped in music but too loud in there. We will definitely be back. I'm really disappointed to have to update my review after our latest experience at The Brant…read more Unfortunately, the lack of hospitality we experienced this time was incredibly disappointing from the moment we arrived. We brought my stepdad, who was in a wheelchair, and when we entered, there were two young women working at the front. Despite clearly seeing us trying to navigate the entrance with his wheelchair, neither offered to help with the door. We literally had to ask them to assist us. Something as simple as holding the door for a guest in a wheelchair should be basic hospitality and common courtesy. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve once we sat down at the bar. Our bartender, Viviana/Vidiana, essentially ignored us. My stepdad ordered a glass of Chardonnay, and she clearly heard his order. Rather than acknowledging him or getting his drink, she continued talking to another couple at the bar about how she couldn't wait to be off work. She then walked away, said something quietly to the bartender coming on shift about my stepdad wanting a Chardonnay, grabbed her purse, and left. There was no "Someone else will be taking care of you," no acknowledgment of his order, no goodbye -- nothing. It honestly came across as incredibly rude and dismissive. What bothered me most wasn't having to wait for a glass of wine; it was the complete lack of warmth, attentiveness, and basic hospitality throughout the experience. When you are bringing a family member who uses a wheelchair somewhere, you already have additional things to navigate. Having staff make you feel like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests makes the experience that much worse. We have enjoyed The Brant before, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. Hospitality is about making people feel welcome and cared for, and unfortunately, that was completely missing during our latest visit.

The cavatelli had a great depth of flavor without being overpowering from the mushroom sauce. The soy garlic noodles tasted pretty clean without being overly greasy with a slight kick as well from the chili crunch. We all ended with the strawberry lychee ice cream made in house that came with fruit pieces of both lychee and strawberry on the bottom. This mother-and-daughter operation has a warmth you simply can't manufacture. The mother personally came over to greet us, the ambiance was impeccable, and the service was exceptional from beginning to end. We had the shrimp curry, beet salad, French onion soup, short rib, scallops with mushroom risotto, and raspberry cheesecake, and everything was phenomenal. After finishing the shrimp curry, we still had some of the incredible sauce left, so our waiter suggested a half order of garlic bread to soak it up. Absolutely fantastic and exactly the kind of thoughtful recommendation that defined the service. Even the things I initially thought I wanted differently turned out to be perfect as served. I wished the French onion soup had more cheese until I discovered it at the bottom and realized the proportion was perfect for the flavor. Even the filtered water may genuinely be the best I've ever had at a restaurant, and our glasses never went empty. They also boxed our leftovers for us, another small detail that showed the level of care throughout the night. I'm honestly surprised Heirloom hasn't made the Michelin Guide. The service was on par with many Michelin-recognized restaurants I've visited, but with a warmth and personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. They comped a raspberry cheesecake for the birthday, and it was so incredible that we ordered another slice to take home. They surprised us by comping that one too! Exceptional food, impeccable ambiance, genuinely thoughtful service, and hospitality with real heart. Don't miss this place.

Let me start with the positives because the food was genuinely good. I'm not even an eggplant…read moreperson, but their eggplant appetizer was so good. They're known for their French onion soup and it was good, but I definitely wouldn't call it the best I've ever had. That said, it was probably two hours after we sat down by the time we actually got our soups , so maybe we were just really hungry by then haha. For our mains, we did the short rib, pork chop, and filet. Everything was delicious, but the filet was hands down the standout for me. The pork chop is wet aged, so it can look a little pink even when properly cooked, which threw one of my dining companions off a bit, but it was still good. Unfortunately, the experience was a different story. We had a 6:30 reservation and didn't leave until 9:45. We waited about an hour just for our appetizers, and shortly before they arrived, we were told they were down a cook and to expect delays. A three hour and fifteen minute meal for two and a half courses is just crazy. My biggest issue was the lack of communication. I wish we had been told when/before we were seated that the kitchen was significantly delayed so we could decide whether we wanted to stay or make other plans. Instead, we were already well into the experience before we got that information. The AC also wasn't great. It wasn't unbearable, but it was definitely uncomfortable, especially during Southern California's heat wave. I'm not sure if the AC just isn't very strong or if there was an issue that night, but sitting there for more than three hours while already feeling warm definitely didn't help. Then, right before our mains finally came out, we were offered complimentary half glasses of wine as an apology. Two of us declined, and one of my dining companions actually requested a completely different drink, but the wine was still brought to the table anyway (never received the requested drink either). If we've already said no, please don't bring it anyway. And honestly, after waiting that long, you need the full glass haha. At that point, I would have much rather been offered a complimentary dessert or something that actually addressed the three hour wait. The owner did come by twice and was very nice, and we were genuinely trying to be understanding of the situation. I just think there could have been more communication and a more meaningful effort to make up for the experience. Dessert didn't really redeem things either. We tried the crème brûlée and banana bread dessert, and neither would make my list to order again. The crème brûlée seemed overcooked and the banana bread dessert just didn't do much for us. So where does that leave me? The food is good, and there are definitely dishes I'd order again, especially the filet. But good food can only make up for so much when you spend more than three hours at the table, especially when you're hot and waiting most of that time. I'd be willing to give Heirloom another shot, but not before we get some cooler weather and I can confirm they've actually hired a second chef to help keep things moving at a more reasonable pace. If those things are sorted out, I'd be interested in seeing what the experience is like when everything is running the way it should.
