Phoned ahead for a pickup (created a Hawaiian type pizza & ordered small Greek salad with some soda pops) and was delighted it was in the basement of the old courthouse. There is a little table with a couple of chairs, so even though it's not really kitted out to dine in, the place is Historic indeed! Promptly ready, the pizza was a thin crust with toppings which was just right, and the Greek salad had lots of crunchy fresh vegetables. As I understand it, the woman who served me is the owner and works very hard to continue to create and manage this business. (Since August, 2019). This is the best pizza place around Shuswap…read more The pizzas there are always fantastic. They use the right amount of sauce in them, and it is full of flavour. The crust is not too thin or thick, and it is soft on the inside and crunchy on the outer crust. The cheese is consistently gooey and covers the whole pizza. Now, generally I order just pepperoni for all my pizzas. They put some pepperoni on top and a lot of it under the cheese, and they bake the pizza so it all tastes perfectly, top to bottom. The service is always courteous whenever I pick up my food. My only nitpick is that they are not open until 3 pm and close at 8. Other than that, I highly recommend this pizza joint to anyone.

The cheese had the perfect consistency, the crust was fresh with a good layer of bread and the pepperoni is savoury like all good meat should be. My only nitpick is that I could not dine-in to eat, since I do live far from Salmon Arm. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Beyond The Crust as my go-to pizza place.
