Very disappointed. Root touch up was too light. Hair cut was horrible. I have long hair and have always had long layers. I wanted a trim and maintain same cut...long layers. read more

We requested long layers and to keep most of the length to keep her beautiful blonde long hair... I have no words for this hack job. My daughter is so upset and she is has every right to be. I don't know if the stylist was in a hurry or just didn't know what she was doing but there's no excuse for this. read more

Great service there and good stylists very professional and the shampoo and conditioner were great on my hair

bought my mother a gift certificate for Christmas in person so that I was sure to purchase the right amount. I was very specific regarding the length of her hair, that she wanted a full head of highlights and a wash cut and a blow dry. They told me it would cost $155. My mother went in last week to get her hair done and they charged a $25 upcharge for long hair (above her shoulder) and $30 for toner bc the stylist (Pam) left the color in too long after my mother (who has been getting her hair colored for over 30 years) explained that it only needs to stay in for 15 minutes - for which she was scoffed at. My mother wanted blonde highlights, the toner turned a lot of them brown and there are still a lot of grays uncovered. So after paying $210 she now has to pay $195 at a different salon to have it fixed. The owner offered to "fix it for free" but my mother does not trust them to do it and I do not blame her. The right thing to do would have been to apologize and offer a refund but I guess their motto is you get what we give you whether you like it or not. Thanks for ruining a nice thing I tried to do for my mother who just left her entire life behind in NY and just needed to feel good about herself. Awful. read more

They do Good work but make tip mandatory on chemical services. so that's over $100 in service plus mandatory 20% tip and because it's mandatory they don't even take time to say Thank you! Don't beleive it's good business ethics. ConSumer board would be able to verify. read more

I highly recommend this hair salon in Stuart. I've had my hair cut and blown out twice now by Yvoone and I loved it! She listens to what you want and what you do with your hair. She's very experienced, friendly and cuts hair amazing, plus when it grows out it still looks great. Yvonne M retired was amazing and probably cut my hair half a dozen times but when she left, I tried another stylist at Lemon Tree and had the worst haircut of my life. Without asking me, 'Ivonne' used hair thinning scissors and then did what my husband calls a 'fade' up the back of my scalp... since I had long hair for most of my life, I found the fact that she did not ask me rather shocking. Initially, she wanted to do it with my hair dry, and I argued with her that I did not want her to use the electric razor up the back of my head (at all!). When she did it anyways after I won the first argument after my hair dried, I was rather shocked and repeated several times. I did not like what she was doing. She took many liberties that I did not authorize and I will not be returning to-this salon; she ruined my hair. I'm going to find another salon to fix what she did because it is also very uneven. I am extremely unhappy with the haircut but also that she was incapable of listening to what I asked for which was a stack at the bottom of my hairline... Now I have no hair in the back of my head other than the few 'tufts' of uneven clumps left! It looks like I have a toupee now. read more

I have been highlighting my hair for about 50 years now I have never had to have a toner put in, and the color has always come out the way it is supposed to. I went to Lemon Tree in NY, paid $65 for highlighting and a cut and blow out. I recently moved to Florida and thought I would try the Lemon Tree in Stuart. What a huge mistake! My children had given me a gift certificate for $155. for my birthday, and had specifically asked what they charge so I wouldn't have to pay anything extra Well when they finished, they charged me $215. What a rip off- the color did not come out correctly, she had to use toner because she left me under the dryer too long - which I had told her my hair takes quick and don't leave it on any longer than 15 minutes. The gray isn't covered, and the color is so uneven it's ridiculous. I really am not a complainer but this is so disappointing and maddening, I felt like I had to write about it. I was wondering why I could get a Friday appointment when I called the day before - now I know why, and why there were only 2-3 customers there. Needless to say I won't be going back. I am so grateful for him and his talent and would highly recommend him. He is also so kind and has such a warm energy.
