Do not use!! Very unprofessional. We had a job done and 1/3 of the sod never took and it died. But the rest of the grass was perfect and I watered the crap out of the entire yard. The picture below is current. Something was going on with the soil or the sod but he did not offer any solutions to help fix anything. Nonetheless, I would recommend looking elsewhere for your landscaping needs. read more

Lemcke Landscape removed our old landscaping in our front back and side yards. Gus proposed a well thought out plan for us. We had 30 plus year old trees growing in our power lines. So the power company hacked away at them a few years ago. So now we have trees that can grow out of the way of those lines. I love the symmetry of the new bushes by the front of our house. Update three days later: I was awakened this morning about 3:45 am by a water jet pounding the side of my house. Apparently, a Lemcke Landscape worker sent to correct some (but not all) of the deficiencies below three days ago cut into an irrigation pipe and did not report it. My entire experience with Lemcke Landscape only seems to get worse day by day. Right now this is a provisional review. A crew is back working after I complained about the poor quality of work, inconsistent with the proposal I received and signed. I contracted with Lemcke Landcacape to renovate my front lawn, including irrigation system, removing sod, trees, and current plants and replacing with new planting materials. The proposal I signed included significant soil preparation. Whatever the reason, whether it was poor oversight supervision or untrained workers, the work was done shoddily. Soil preparation which was a critical part of the proposal was not done. Sod was installed on hard pack clay without the soil amendment specified in the proposal. There were numerous "holes" underlying the new turf, where the soil was not graded. Planting beds were not prepared according to the proposal. Instead, it appears that holes were simply dug into the hard packed clay to install shrubs, thereby assuring limited root growth. Existing plants were not removed. Only about 1/2" of mulch was installed. I have photographs of the most obvious issues to document my case. Specifically, the proposal included these parameters, none of which were performed either partially or completely: "Remove some existing plant material and install new landscape per design." --Partially done "Prep all site work and landscape beds and add 3" layer of hardwood mulch" --Not done "Amend all planting areas with a 2" layer of planters mix"--Not done "Dig out 4 inches of existing topsoil and haul away roughly"--Not done "Remove 2-3 inches of existing topsoil and haul away." --Not done "Add 10 cubic yards of compost/ topsoil mix and grade accordingly" --Partially done I am deeply disappointed by the quality of workmanship. It would be impossible for me to recommend Lemcke after this experience.
