Dr. Leland and everyone at his office are the absolute nicest, most considerate, and professional staff! I had major anxieties about getting a consultation but knew at some point I had to get it done. I wore braces in my teens but I was not happy with the results (I have jaw issues). Now, 20 years later, the opportunity came up that my 8 year old daughter needed a consultation. Dr. Leland came highly recommended by our dentists and since we are new in the area we gave him a call. From the moment I walked in I just felt I was in a very professional, state of the art office. The space is beautiful! And clean! All of the equipment is cutting edge and the whole check in and appointment process was seamless. Dr. Leland took his time with both my daughter and me. I felt very comfortable with him as a person and with his level of expertise. Even more than that, he is extremely kind and thorough. He wasn't fazed at all with my complex-not-so-straightforward case and was very optimistic with the results he knows he will achieve. We started treatment right away and I could not be happier with the staff and the way my treatment is going. My appointments are always on time and quick. Tyler, his assistant, even helped set up a payment plan that was comfortable for me. My only regret is having waited as long as I did to schedule the consultation! read more

Leland Orthodontics - Treatment area - Orthodontists Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I took my teenage son to Leland for dental aligners. We had a great experience from start to finish and the results were amazing! The office is really nice and conveniently located. Every staff member we worked with beginning with the consultation and all the way through to receiving his retainers were welcoming, kind, caring and very patient, even when I asked a million, probably silly questions. I loved that we could use an app to monitor progress which greatly minimized the need to go to frequent appointments. We had a very positive experience and I would absolutely recommend them! read more

There are better places in Reno . Don't be fooled by all the advertising . Had to wait in lobby for quite a while for consultation . Promised $750 off by showing up for consultation on time . Had to wait 45 mins + . Then didn't even meet with orthodontist until we requested it . They had us meet with sales woman and missed crucial treatment plans seen by other orthodontist in the area. (Thankfully got a second opinion ) I would not recommend . Office continued texting after . Another friend had treatment completed here and they almost wanted to remove the braces before everything was straight read more

We have been with Dr. Leland over the last three years. Not only has my son's treatment been a huge help with his breathing, we also feel very comfortable with the knowledge and trust. Dr Leland's office is the best! Awesome care and easy to work with office for scheduling!

It's always good to get several opinions and so here was my second! I called last week, to set up a consultation. I was able to get an appointment and had them email me the necessary forms to fill out ahead of time. Must be the new way of text and email reminders before your appointment. Honestly , I only need one reminder if that, but to get several and also emails, get annoying. I have to say, not even my primary does that. They rely on the patient to be responsible enough to set their own reminders. They take All the Covid precautions... text before you walk in, then they text you a questionnaire COVID screening, and then another text to tell you to come in. When you walk in, you take your own temp. The staff were professional and efficient. The Dr. was cordial and informative. read more

Dr. Leland and the staff are fantastic, I just got braces put on! This office is very spacious and clean! It's now overcrowded like some of the other orthodontist office. Not only that, Leland orthodontics gave me the best price of the 4 places I went to. They provided a very in-depth treatment to fix my smile. If you are planning to get braces I don't see another better office in town to get your braces done at at a very fair price! read more

Leland Orthodontics - Ceramic braces top, metal braces bottom, clear bands. - Orthodontists Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Where do I even start?! I am absolutely so excited to have been referred to this wonderful practice! My daughter who is 8, has had major anxieties about the idea of possibly needing braces. After a really awesome and straightforward consult, Dr. Leland and Tylar gave us the most amazing informational talk that included my daughter, they answered all the questions and helped explain the game plan for her smile, and made her feel included and armed her with knowledge about where we are going, and made her basically talk non stop about how excited she was to have braces can't make this stuff up. They went above and beyond to take care of us, and stayed a little after hours to do a small procedure on the spot to help us avoid having to return the next day. This is what I wish all practices could do. This is the standard! Also, it feels like a spa when you walk in, such a relaxing atmosphere for a place that is so hard to be for some people, I can't imagine that anyone dreads coming to them!!! read more

We came to Dr. Leland after a friend referred him to us for a second opinion. Boy, am I glad she did! I called to make an appointment for my son and was asked if we had insurance and they would check to see what was covered before we arrive. They also said I could text them information which was a bonus for me. We entered the office which is conveniently close to us (South Reno by Walmart area), and were greeted by Tylar with a warm smile and friendly face. The reception area is nice and comfortable with coffee/tea and water available. We went into an exam room/office area. My son got photos of his teeth and came back to the exam room. Dr. Leland was so personable and friendly. He made my son so comfortable. We explained that my son cannot have braces because of his line of business and Dr. Leland said he was eligible for Invisalign. Invisalign is pretty costly, but our insurance covered a portion and Dr. Leland's office had a special running which brought the cost down considerably. It was a big win for us! We made another appointment and returned where my son had images taken of his teeth and where I signed the documents to get things rolling. They have in office financing with no finance charges which worked for us. We now wait three weeks for the trays to be completed and my son will be on his way to a straighter smile! I highly recommend Dr. Leland and his wonderful staff. He is very informative, knowledgeable and friendly and if you are reading this during the month of March, they are offering $1000 off Invisalign! The first office we received a consultation from was very nice, but was definitely more expensive and I feel that my son connected more with Dr. Leland. We are very happy that we went for a second opinion! Thank you, Dr. Leland! read more

Best orthodontic office in Reno! Clean office and the friendliest staff ! 10/10 recommend!

After my daughter had a terrible experience at another Orthodontist office she was unwilling to go to another office. She finally agreed to hear what Dr. Leland and staff had to say. She was greeted with a smile and an ear to hear her fears AND to listen to what she would like to try. They were wonderful, caring, fun and very informative while answering all her questions. She likes that the staff is young and gets her ridiculous sarcasm. As a mom how people treat my children is important. The staff is incredible would recommend to anyone looking for an Orthopedist. read more

if you're looking for a ortho that won't waste your time or money, this is it. i've been receiving treatment at this office for a year and half after spending a year with western dental. you can imagine the headache. the staff at this office works wonderfully well as a team, and i'm always met with incredibly nice people. they're extremely flexible with appointments and very accommodating to whatever you have going on. i've gone through relocations, pregnancy, emergency surgeries and they have worked with me through it all. i very much appreciate the people and the service they provide. it's one less thing i have to worry about when already dealing with life's unpredictable circumstances. oh and they do a hell of a job with your teeth, that's cool too. :) read more

First, my 17-year-old's opinion: "This is how I want my house to look someday!" Very cool office, decorations, a coffee shop/hangout vibe when not enforcing COVID restrictions (they are very safe btw). Now the parent perspective: excellent communication, friendly staff, quick x-rays, clear consultation. Dr. Leland recommended that we not pursue braces right now, which showed that his care for his patients transcends a sale. read more

This is by far the best orthodontic practice in Northern Nevada. I interviewed several orthodontists in the area and I felt that the staff at Leland performed the best due care and professionalism throughout the entire process! Not only did they help me, but they helped my fiancé with her treatment as well and we have been absolutely buzzing at the results that we are seeing. I was hesitant to get started in ortho because of the expenses, length of treatment, and my unwillingness to wear Invisalign trays round the clock, but Dr Leland and his team made the experience better than I ever could have expected. Dr Leland was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and patient with my excessive questions and aesthetic concerns. He clearly loves his craft. I looked forward to talking with his assistant Jose every visit, and appreciated that Jose was very concerned with and involved in my treatment. I'm happy I waited so long to do this just for the fact that I ended up with Dr Leland and his team, including Tyler who is wonderful and answered my financial questions.
