It's always good to get several opinions and so here was my second! I called last week, to set up a consultation. I was able to get an appointment and had them email me the necessary forms to fill out ahead of time. Must be the new way of text and email reminders before your appointment. Honestly , I only need one reminder if that, but to get several and also emails, get annoying. I have to say, not even my primary does that. They rely on the patient to be responsible enough to set their own reminders. They take All the Covid precautions... text before you walk in, then they text you a questionnaire COVID screening, and then another text to tell you to come in. Where do I even start?! I am absolutely so excited to have been referred to this wonderful practice! My daughter who is 8, has had major anxieties about the idea of possibly needing braces. After a really awesome and straightforward consult, Dr. Leland and Tylar gave us the most amazing informational talk that included my daughter, they answered all the questions and helped explain the game plan for her smile, and made her feel included and armed her with knowledge about where we are going, and made her basically talk non stop about how excited she was to have braces can't make this stuff up. They went above and beyond to take care of us, and stayed a little after hours to do a small procedure on the spot to help us avoid having to return the next day. This is what I wish all practices could do. This is the standard! We came to Dr. Leland after a friend referred him to us for a second opinion. Boy, am I glad she did! I called to make an appointment for my son and was asked if we had insurance and they would check to see what was covered before we arrive. They also said I could text them information which was a bonus for me. We entered the office which is conveniently close to us (South Reno by Walmart area), and were greeted by Tylar with a warm smile and friendly face. The reception area is nice and comfortable with coffee/tea and water available. We went into an exam room/office area. My son got photos of his teeth and came back to the exam room. Dr. Leland was so personable and friendly. He made my son so comfortable. We explained that my son cannot have braces because of his line of business and Dr. Leland said he was eligible for Invisalign. Invisalign is pretty costly, but our insurance covered a portion and Dr. Leland's office had a special running which brought the cost down considerably. It was a big win for us! We made another appointment and returned where my son had images taken of his teeth and where I signed the documents to get things rolling. They have in office financing with no finance charges which worked for us. We now wait three weeks for the trays to be completed and my son will be on his way to a straighter smile! I highly recommend Dr. Leland and his wonderful staff. He is very informative, knowledgeable and friendly and if you are reading this during the month of March, they are offering $1000 off Invisalign! The first office we received a consultation from was very nice, but was definitely more expensive and I feel that my son connected more with Dr. Leland. Best Orthodontist office you could ask for! The staff is so kind and friendly! Dr. Leland is such a great orthodontist , I have always had a fairly nice smile due to being in the dental world but there were certain things about my smile I wasn't happy about. Dr. Leland was very understanding and didn't make me feel I was crazy! Tylar has such an amazing way of treating everyone who walks through the door as family! You can feel her smile through the phone when you call! She is very thorough with the aspects of her job I never have questions regarding my responsibilities as the patient or anything!
