The staff and doctors are extremely friendly. The reason I gave it three stars is because of the incorrect information given to me from their payment staff member (don't recall her actual title) about how my insurance worked with coverage and payments. I was told we would have to pay the office directly and my insurance would reimburse us because Delta is the only insurance the does this according to the lady in charge of payments. She said I would be getting either the whole reimbursement or a partial lump sum and then payments after from Delta until I reached my max coverage, which was $2500, after she submits the claim. Because of this I agreed to pay in full and I would get a discount. After waiting for my reimbursement check I called Delta Dental and was told I was given incorrect info from the orthodontist office. Delta wouldn't pay them directly because they're not a contracted provider with them and because my child's treatment (braces) was over 12 months, I would only be reimbursed half of the plan coverage, which would be $1250. I can only get the remainder IF I continue my plan with Delta next year and won't get it until April 2019. I called their office back and the insurance claims lady returned my call. She was super friendly and told me what Delta said was correct and the lady who gave me the incorrect info on my insurance has been told to make this clear to people. I told her I have all this in writing proving this is what I was told. She was very nice and understood where I was coming from. I understand nothing can be done but I wanted the office to know this happened. Other than this, it's a nice place with friendly staff. read more

Dr. Walton is a fantastic orthodontist. He is personable, professional and delivers excellent results. Our teenager 'mostly' complied with their treatment plan and still received a greatly improved smile. Why take a chance with your teeth or smile by going to a lesser option?!? there are offices in most areas, so travel to the orthodontist is easy. the price is fair -especially for those of us who must pay cash. my daughter has been a patient since she was 3 years old. while the assistants change frequently, the doctors remain the same. the level of care is consisent no matter who she sees. a young child can be taught to fear the procedures, but that didn't happen with my daughter. she enjoys her visits & now wears braces. we are pleased with the care & professionalism of all staff. the office is fun and enticing for a child -another way to make orthodontia painless. read more

All of the staff are very nice and friendly. You also don't need to wait very long and finishes in about 1 hour. Another thing is that they have this rewards program and you can earn points, which can be exchanged for prizes. The way to earn points is very simple too, like having regular visits and having good oral hygiene. read more

I was desperate...we live in California and my son was up visiting his dad in Reno. He has just gotten his braces off a couple of weeks prior. Then..... The dog ate his top retainer. I contacted his orthodontist here who said that his teeth will move in the 2 weeks that he would be there and that it was crucial that I find someone in Reno to made a retainer asap. Every place I called gave me the same line.......2 weeks to get a retainer because he is not our patient. Hmmmm... you're charging me $50 for new patient set up. Wouldn't that make him a patient? Anyway.... this place was so helpful and concerned. And...priced better than every other place. They made no promises (it was the week between Xmas and New Year) but said they would do their best to rush this. Their best was a retainer in less than 2 days! Having to do orthodontics all over again was NOT in my plan but working with Orthodontic Partners has made it a great experience. I am in my 50's and I come from out of town for my treatments. Orthodontic Partners make it convenient and easy for me to schedule appointments and be seen within my rigorous schedule. My children had braces here for years. I called over 2 week ago to ask for an appointment/pricing so my son could be scheduled for permanent retainers as he is experiencing movement. I am apparently only able to speak to one consultant who hasn't returned my calls and when I call the office I keep getting sent to her vm. Very disappointing as we have spent years with the company and this is the first time they've been repeatedly uncontentious in responding. read more

My daughter has a small mouth and a ton of teeth. She has 4 teeth that have fallen out but has no room for the new ones to come in. So we were referred to Orthodontic partners. She is in a 2 phase treatment plan. She is in Expanders and and partial braces and then will move into full braces in a few years. Her teeth are moving nicely and I can see the change in her mouth. We have only been going here since about August. So they are surprised that her teeth are moving so much. I would recommend them to anyone that needs braces. I decided to have my braces done with orthodontic partners because I have a friend that did it there. I gave it one star because of the unprofessional manner in which these at the front desk treated me. After I made a follow up appointment two hours later she called to cancel it because she gave it to another person just to accommodate the other person at my expense. The next time I called to make an appointment to consult about my braces and she said she will have somebody call me back. By the end of the day, I never got a call so I called again at which time she hung up on me. So I went into the office and I overheard her mentioning me by name to a coworker where she referred to me as "an impatient and annoying patient". I guess it's too much to expect somebody to call me back after a whole day and treat me with a little respect read more

They were bubbly UNTIL there was an issue and then every girl in there (every assistant was female and in her early twenties) gave me attitude....What? Even if you aren't in a professional business there is a way to treat people. That's right--patients have choices! I am sure plenty of people are pleased with his place... maybe. Luckily I got my work done in a fabulous office and have an idea about how orthodontia should be done. Attitude could have been overlooked (as in many cases it must) had my actual treatment been passable. Unfortunately, I was dissatisfied with this as well; even with their second attempt. I have really bad teeth and I got braces. Well the lady who did them was in a hurry and didn't show me how to brush right. Plus she kept jabbing something in my mouth that didn't fit. Went back again for a check up an I got a nice girl who was scared to even hurt me. I'm a tough girl so pain doesn't bother me. The dentist is nice and I love to see my teeth moving. (5 stars) Amazing and so friendly! An absolutely amazing experience! With three locations (four if you count Los Altos) to serve everyone's needs. The office was fun and the staff was spectacular. I'd like to tell you I was dreading this experience, just not knowing what to expect from a new office, but I knew if Dr. Adams (our dentist) was referring than they had to be terrific. And I was right! I felt comfortable from the moment I made my initial call to schedule. Everyone greeted us with a smile and took their time to answer all of our questions. We have three children that will need braces and I'm actually looking forward to being a part of the Orthodontic Partners family for the next 4-6 years. read more

I go to Orthodontic Partners and I am about to get my braces like my brother before me. He said his experience was great and that they made it really fun every time he came in. My oldest daughter didn't need braces, so when I was told by my dentist I needed to take my 8 year old daughter in for a consult ASAP bc her mouth wasn't big enough for all her teeth and she needs orthodonic work or several oral surgeries I panicked. I was referred here by my dentist and was able to get in the next week for a consult! Amazing! We walked in and the office had a cool vibe. The thing j liked the most was the great staff who took my daughter without me for all her X-rays. I absolutely agree children do better when parents aren't hovering. My daughter needs 2phases of braces. She also needed several baby teeth pulled before they could even put the expander in. The office called my dentist right there and together they came up with a treatment plan. I was just so impressed with the communication and professional environment. Unfortunately we don't have orthodonic insurance on our dental so of course I was worried about the cost. They set me up with a wonderful easy payment plan. I can't rave enough about this office. My daughters, all three of them, have been through Orthodontic Partners. I was so pleased with my first daughters experience and how fast she got through the braces process, that I wanted to take my second there. At that time, we had relocated to Carson City and I felt that the drive was well worth it. By the time my second was done, the staff and doctors treated us so nicely and knew us so well I felt that there was no other choice. My youngest daughter had to have 2 phases of treatment for expansion and then braces. I was afraid she wouldn't want to keep going to her appointments, but she never complained. She loved the staff and they loved her. At first, I wasn't sure that all the work was necessary, but it turned out to be important for her smile and now she will reap the benefits for life. With each one of my daughters, it seemed as though there was new technology being used. We have visited all three locations and have been pleased with them all. They are all a very kid friendly-fun experience for the kids. The staff is extremely friendly. The doctors are fun and really take an interest in the kids. They use impressive 3-D computer drawings and explain to the kids so they can understand what is going on. I recommend Orthodontic Partners to anyone in need of braces and if you live in Carson City, it is definitely worth the drive. read more

I love this place because it is so friendly , and I always feel at home. They are fast with check ups and always tell you exactly what to do , when I say friendly I really mean friendly. everyone there always jokes around and always makes a conversation with you. I did have a few problems ( as did my brother) but not anything big that they could not fix. They always do there best job to help you and make appointments when you forget , and will understand when you are busy. they always have hot chocolate and coffee for my parents . With the designs in there locations make it makes the place very interesting to walk into every time. They do have a rewards program and you can get all kinds of cool prizes. I would recommend this place if you are getting braces just because this is such an awesome place to get braces(even though braces suck). read more

I was in Reno for a sports tournament with my daughter (we are from the SF Bay Area) over a weekend in early April. During a game on Saturday a wire came loose on her braces, I started calling orthodontists and the Ortho Partners had an emergency line set up. I ended up talking to the Dr on call and she was willing to meet us at the office within the hour. The Dr fixed her up in about 10 minutes and my daughter was back to her game in no time. The most remarkable part was she refused to let me pay her. She was simply happy to help out a kid far from home and in need of some help. My daughter had to start off her orthodontic treatment with oral surgery. She had to have a chain attached to a tooth that was growing the wrong direction, so it could gradually be pulled down the right direction. The team a Orthodontic Partners referred us to a great surgeon. Once that was done, Orthodontic Partners took over her treatment. They took their time and made sure her teeth were moving in the direction they wanted. After two long years, she now has very straight, beautiful teeth and a huge smile to prove it.
