Pretty disappointed in the service team at the dealership. I've taken my car here a few times to be serviced with no issue, but this week is a totally different story. I had a recall on my Jeep and my key fob had been giving me issues, so I made an appointment to get it fixed. The person who scheduled the appointment said the recall would take half a day, but she wasn't sure about the key fob issue. I drop my car off at 8:30am and don't hear anything for the remainder of the day, which was unusual. Next morning I got a call from my service tech saying there was an issue with my key fob, and it might take a while to get reprogrammed so they could get me into a rental car. I said great as long as I could have it by the end of the day. Well the day goes by and I hear nothing, until around 4pm when my tech calls and says power is out until possibly 7pm, so no rental. I was frustrated, but obviously they have no control over the power outage. Now today rolls around and I give them a call at 9am to see what the update is. It's currently 3:30 and I haven't heard from anyone after calling and texting multiple times. I'm supposed to be going out of town tomorrow, but don't have a vehicle. Overall I'm very disappointed with the lack of communication from the service team and being without a vehicle now for 3 days with no solution and no communication. read more

By far the worst service I have received thus far. My Jeep Grand Cherokee was in for a warranty work that should has no more than two or three days. It's now 10 days with a different story each day. If it wasn't for the warranty work I would have pulled my Jeep out and had the done the work else. This will be never go to Leith Jeep!!! read more

Service Manager, Mechanic, and Area Manager completely unreasonable, nasty, and dishonest. They misdiagnosed a repair and would not own up to it. A repair that cost $400 to fix was estimated at $3000 by them. Trust me, go elsewhere. Bought new vehicle from them 1.5 yrs ago for $55,000 still under bumper to bumper warranty and they denied the warranty claim. They are quick to take the sale, but after that the customer relationship is over! I will never go back. read more

Do not take your vehicle to Leith Chrysler Jeep to be serviced! My Crand Cherokee had a MESSAGE: "CAR WILL NOT START IN 250 MILES! TAKE CAR TO A DEALER IMMEDIATELY! I took to Leith Jeep and was told I needed a NOX Sensor. 22 days later I still do not have my car back! First they broke off the part to be replaced, then tried to repair that, then gave up and sent the exhaust pipe and converter to a machine shop for a week! The Machine Shop worked on for a week and then returned to Leith last friday. Leith installed and sent a driver to drive up and down I540 to "clear the code" in the system and told him to NOT TURN THE ENGINE OFF! SO, OF COURSE THE DRIVER STOPPED SOMEWHERE AND TURNED THE ENGINE OFF . The engine would not start, and they had the car towed back to Leith. That was last friday the 27th of March. It is now friday the 3rd of April and the car is still not ready! I have been told MAYBE the car will be ready Monday but I have a hard time believing this. Total incompetence! Throughout this process I have made dozens of calls to the service department only to get voice mail. I finally resorted to going in person to get some answers from Tyler Hudson. I have also left a message for Steve the Service Manager directly and through Tyler but have yet to receive a return call. The poor level of response has been outrageous. I have purchased 2 Jeep Grand Cherokees from Leith over the past 20 years (2004 and 2014). I have had the cars serviced exclusively by their service department. To be treated in this manner is shocking. If I could rate this review with ZERO STARS I would. read more

AWFUL experience, these people are unprofessional and disrespectful. I contacted them to ask if a car I was interested in was in Cary or Raleigh, since it was listed on both websites. They replied it was in Raleigh and gave me an appointment to go see it a couple days later. 30 minutes before the appointment I get an email asking to confirm, to which I replied yes. I get there and THERE IS NO CAR as it is at the shop in Cary. The dealer tried to blame the situation on not having my phone number, but he was perfectly able to email me just before the appointment, only forgot to mention the car wasn't there. Why not tell me to go to Cary instead? Why not move the appointment? Absolutely no respect for me and my time. How could I trust someone SO UNPROFESSIONAL NAD DECEITFUL to sell me a car? I can't comment on the cars they sell but this dealership is totally unreliable. read more

Went there over a week ago for service. Requested they look and see why engine light was on. They told me they didn't have time. I asked couldnt they just run a quick diagnostic and tell me what's wrong. I wasn't asking them to fix the problem. I was told "it takes alot more than that". I knew I was being told a lie becaue I had already had another place look at it and IT ONLY TOOK 10 MINUTES. I just wanted them to confirm what was told to me since this is where I purchased it. Then I was told I needed some new filters....so they had time to replace filters but not do a 10-minute diagnostic!!!! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I'm actively looking to purchase a Wagoneer, but I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from them!!! Hands down the worst dealership in the Triangle area. Go elsewhere if you can. They exhibit a pattern of disrespect and negligence and will end up putting you and others at risk. I had my car in the shop mid-December for about a week, they replaced several parts and sent videos and pictures of my car. Not 3 weeks later on January 9th, the wheel came entirely off my car and put me and others at risk. Since it had just been at the dealership, I took it back to them. They originally quoted my over $2,000 for the repairs (replacing the lugs, wheel, etc.), which is absurd. My tires were brand new from Discount Tire, I bought them in May, and hadn't had any issues with my car until I took it to Leith Chrysler Jeep in December. I was pretty frustrated and was calling back and forth between Jeep, Discount Tire, and my warranty service for a few days while my car was at the dealership. The service department, specifically Ryan McDuffy and Stephen (the service manager) intentionally ignored my calls and set my number to go to voicemail, and didn't update me on the status of my car until my boyfriend called them (since they didn't have his number blocked). They are refusing to accept any responsibility for not properly conducting repairs on my car, and said they didn't even test drive it before giving my car back to me in on December 23rd. Tyler in service fit my broken down car into their very busy routine maintenance appointments. The maintenance tech found the issue quickly and made recommendations to solve while saving me money. I was sent a video of the issue then asked if I authorized the fix. I am sure another car repair shop would have charged me several hundred dollars more for repair I didn't need. Leith Dealership : (Vehicle Purchased 2/24/24) Buyer Beware !!!! THEY GOT ME !! (Don't Let them get you !!!) Please read before you purchase from this dealership. There are Many other examples of dissatisfaction after the sale !!! Other reviews show the pattern of the Leith dealership. They surround themselves with the "paper you signed" "Sold As Is" Which is fine if they didn't already knowingly set you up with a check engine light for, in my case, a failed catalytic converter. Unfortunately for me, I was purchasing in Raleigh,NC and lived 95 miles away in Greenville, NC. This made it so that I couldn't have my mechanic check this out before purchasing. THEY GOT ME !! There appears to be a pattern of the corporate wide way to handle customer dissatisfaction. This is proven by their ACTIONS, don't believe their hollow words. They are slick. It's one thing to buy as is. .... And it's another to turn off a check engine light so it passes the emission control ... and have it come back on 140 miles after their "safety inspection". This is their cover for themselves. Don't fall for it like I did. My mechanic said that there is NO WAY the CATALYTIC CONVERTER which has no moving parts, suddenly went bad. (it just allows engine emissions to go through it & cleans up the exhaust) He explained how unscrupulous dealers will have the Readiness Monitor pass 2 levels with the light off & print the sheet as passed (knowing it will return quickly, hence sell as is, with proof that it passed) Coincidence ??? Hmmm??? You decide Appearance of impropriety, you decide !!! I was told (by Tyrone Yarborough, sales manager) that he and (Kyle Williams, general sales manager) would call me the next day at 10:30am and continue to call me every 30 minutes if they were not able to get me the first time. I cleared this time on my schedule to be available to accept this call. You guessed it, the call that never happened. I called later in the day & was told that Kyle would return my call, didn't happen. I called the next day, & the next day, & the next day. You get the point he wouldn't accept my call or return my calls. That is how they operate. I had Higher expectations from a Dealer as large as Leith. It was clear in their responses that they have a very well "canned" way of responding You wouldn't think they would scam people like this. I was wrong !! Don't be fooled !!! Do not buy from what appears to be a scam artist dealership. This is the short version of my frustration with Leith Dealership. I have been purchasing Jeeps for 15 years and everyone at the dealership is great. Nate the salesman was great to work with and let me know when the car I wanted arrived, after the test drive there were things I wanted different so he found me another unit and actually went and picked it up himself. The service Department is awesome from Stephen the service manager to Tyler and Ryan the service advisers. I drive approx 35,000 miles a year so I am there a few times a year for oil changes and service. They are great at scheduling services and work with my schedule as best they can to reduce the time I am not driving. Highly recommend this dealership read more

Was nervous and worried going into my car shopping experience at Leith due to some of the horrendous older reviews. I do have to say that I am extremely pleased I went through with checking out Jeeps at Leith because my experience, throughout the entirety of the day, was nothing short of incredible. The whole car buying experience was not high-stakes, high-stress, and I actually felt like a human being throughout, not just another person to be sold a car. Even when we talked prices, I never felt like I was a subhuman for wishing for the best possible value. I had an incredible saleswoman (Estefany) and really must say for my first major car buying experience this was one to remember and one to replicate should I need to buy in the future. She never pressured me, always keep trying to find something that I liked/wanted, and actually dealt with me like someone she knew and was looking out for. I don't know what to say about this dealership . . . I have never left the service dept. without them attempting to overcharge us for something. Note that whenever we are to get work done, we confirm the price before service is done- and somehow, without fail, the cost is $50-100 higher when we pick up. (At least an extra 1/2 hour of labor is added) When we complain, they act like it's a mistake and remove the added-on charges. It's an annoying dance that we regularly have to do. My last visit, however, put my frustration over the top. I have only gone to Leith because they are close and for recalls. But this was for an NC state inspection (which I will never do at a dealership again). I have a garage-kept '14 Grand Cherokee Limited with 55K miles. They performed their "Complimentary inspection" and told me all was fine. Drove less than 5 miles home and woke with a flat tire the next morning. There was a screw sideways in my tread- in practically brand new tires. This is the SECOND TIME I have experienced a flat with a screw in my tire within 2 days of service at Leith Jeep. (It has never otherwise) When I called them and went in, insinuating that it happened in the shop, I was treated VERY rudely and they were extremely condescending like it couldn't possibly have happened in their shop. I was told screws fall off of trucks on the highway all the time. Even though the coincidence is glaring. Saved the screws both times. The first time the screw even had the head sheared off. This was not an accident, TWICE. I know they have notes about me in my profile. I hold them to account and they don't like it. But my gut tells me they are now becoming vindictive and causing problems where none exist. Won't be going back to Leith after another poor experience. Buyer beware, they will sell a car out from under you even if you've agreed to a deal and just need to sign the papers. Anyone can walk in and buy it first if they don't have your signature yet. Even the salespeople said they "hate" the policy. One told us they had lost 4 sales because another salesperson had swooped in and trumped their deal. What a waste of time. Can't even hold a car for 30 minutes?! I should have known to stay away because the transaction started off badly. I set up an appointment with Autopark Chrysler (owner by Leith) to check out the vehicle. When I showed up they didn't even have the car on site and told me I needed to drive to Raleigh. Anyway this wasn't the first issue I had with Leith. BUYERS BEWARE! PREDATORY PRACTICES USED HERE TO LURE YOU IN FOR THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH! I've conducted a fair amount of research on the Jeep Wrangler I was interested in. Leith actually had a pretty good selection and offered really competitive pricing. Now I know why! Their prices are completely misleading! A couple days ago I received an e-mail alert from Leith that the price dropped on the vehicle I was interested in, so I used the price calculator on their website to determine what the monthly cost would be on a lease. That prompted me to reach out and schedule a test drive today. Before I arrived, I printed out the financial analysis I conducted on Leith's website using their very own financial calculator. After returning from my test drive, I sat down with the salesperson to review the financials. Not only did the price they presented me on the vehicle not match what was in the e-mail alert (it was $6,000 more expensive), but the down payment required for the lease was thousands of dollars higher and the monthly lease was over $150 more per month. After acting surprised when I showed the salesperson the print out of the analysis that I did on my own (from Leith's own website), she went on to tell me that I was not the first person to cite major discrepancies "over the past several weeks" using the financial calculator on their website and that it was an issue they were "working on fixing." Dubious to say the least! My question is this: if they know the financial calculator on their website is broken, why don't they just take it down from their website or at the very least include a note on their website to let buyers know the calculator is broken!? I'll tell you why... it's because they use the bogus financials to lure you into the store in hopes of selling you something that is way more expensive than you are willing to spend. Took my 2014 Jeep Wrangler here to get an oil leak check on 12/7/19. I was told I needed the oils filter housing replaced and a new thermostat. On 12/7 I got the thermostat along with an oil change and made an appointment for 12/20 to have the oil filter housing replaced. No one told me not to get the oil change at that time because when I get the oil filter housing replaced they would have to drain the oil and charge me for 6 quarts of oil(which they charged me for by the way) maybe I should've know this but I depended on them in the service dept to tell me this. My sale advisor was nice but as he stated he wasn't a mechanic otherwise he would've told me. He even talked to the manager in regards to me just having an oil change there 13 days prior to see if they could at least take the quarts of oil off($22) he said no of course. My services on 12/7 was a little over $400 and 12/20 $960 which I was quoted around $800 and they couldn't even take off the $22 for the quarts of oil. Horrible customer service, I even read the reviews before going to Leith Jeep and they are terrible And I still decided to check them out for myself, bad decision on my part. My husband and I currently have 4 cars purchased from Leith BMW and about 4 on the past and I must say they are the Best but I definitely can't say the same about Leith Jeep. I forgot to mention they told me my brakes were 2-3mm on 12/7 and on 12/20 they were 4mm(just laughable) I didn't trust them on that pet so I went to a brake shop and I was told that o didn't need to replace my brakes anytime soon. I'm not complaining about the price because it's kind of a given that dealerships prices are marked WAY UP but if you are going to charge so much at least be honest and don't make the customer feel like getting a vehicle repaired there is the same as purchasing a car there as if commission is involved. Also the whole text this number if you have any questions is a complete joke, I texted the number 3 times on 12/7 and twice on 12/20 and no one replied. In the future I will be taking my Jeep to westgate for services and I will continue to take our other vehicles to Leith BMW and Leith Porsche because I've never had any issues with them, they are great! I never judge a place off of going there once, this place was horrible both times I've been there..... Never again will I go to a place to spend my money and deal with poor customer service and my Jeep diagnosis was all over the place. I definitely don't understand how my Jeep brakes and rotors became magically better 13 days later, the least they could've done was look at the notes from last 2 weeks ago before talking to the customer. I purchased the 4 oil change package for $70 on 12/7 and on 12/20 I was told I don't have any more oil changes left at this point I just started laughing and said please go check your system because I only been here once. $1200 later I was waiting on Ashton Kutcher to run out and say I've been PUNKED this experience has been a total joke and at my expense, my fingers are crossed that they are good mechanics and my Jeep is really fixed GEESH! read more

My wiper nozzle was lifted out of the hood just a little bit but was not that way when I got there, which is not an issue. My issue is, on the service report and the service advisor told me that my wiper nozzle wasn't working and to diagnose the problem it would be $200. As soon as I got in my Jeep I washed my windshield with no issues using the wiper nozzles that they was was broken. It wasn't until after I washed my windshield that I notice it was lifted a little so I pressed it down with no issue. Again it was lifted when I got there. This is the second time I've had an issue like this at this location, i was apologized to and gave it another try but this time I won't be back because I can't trust what I'm being told. Felt like they were just trying to get me to spend more money. Least they could've done was see if it worked or not before telling me it was broken or not working for me to give them $200 to tell me u need another nozzle so that $90 nozzle would've cost me $300 which is something so simple a child could install. Now I understand the google reviews for this location. I've never any issues at any other location with Leith and my bud and I been buying our cars from leith over the last 15 years. I have been a customer of the Leith network for years, but I am having the worst experience with the Service Dept at this place of any place I have ever dealt with, They have had my Van for 12 days for a door lock problem, The help is very nice, courteous, and well mannered, but the communication with this dealership is impossible, I have left message after message only to get a call a day later with one excuse or the other from help being out with personal problems to help quitting, and being assigned to a new Service Adviser, who assured me the communication would be better.... But its not, I have tried to reach out to them through there various means of communication including their text system which garners NO RESPONSE what so ever. I will not mention names but the entire administration of the service department needs to get it in gear. Very Disappointed to say the least!! read more

Purchased a car from here a few months ago. Experience was actually okay. However I'm reviewing to stress the importance of checking your numbers. I was told a certain amount was going toward paying off my trade and that an extra $20 would be added just Incase the pay off amount changed. I was told this amount would be sent to the other company and any extra the other company would refund it. My documents reflected the extra amount but the exact amount was sent to the previous lien holder. So I'm in the clear because I don't owe the other company anything but that still leaves money being held by the dealership that shouldn't be. When I called the dealership the story changed and I was told they were supposed to refund me the money and that it usually takes 30 days. Even if this were true I've had my car since the end of May. The amount at issue for me isn't significant. But for others it could be more. read more

After searching for months (and years) for the car I wanted, I found a new Honda Pilot at Leith Chrysler Jeep & had to go test drive it. Boy am I glad I did :) I was skeptical about buying a barely used Honda from a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep place, but the customer service was over the top. We purchased a Honda Ridgeline last year from Leith Honda & had a great experience there, so I was glad to give this Leith location a shot... so glad I did! I used their online info request tool to request more information about the Special Internet Pricing, I quickly received back a text from Mark to discuss. I loved the online-to-text system! He answered all my questions & set up a time convenient for me to come test drive it that night. When I arrived, they offered coffee & bottled water as I waited to meet Mark, the salesman who contacted me back quickly via text. Mark was incredibly professional and knew SO much about the car before we test drove it. You could tell he did his research, especially since selling a new Honda on a Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler lot isn't too common. We spent more than 45 minutes discussing the car & driving it, going through all the features, etc. I knew then that not only did I want a Honda Pilot, but I definitely wanted to buy it from Mark! My partner Sara went the next morning to test drive it again with Mark, and she was equally impressed. When we went back that night to purchase it, Mark had set everything aside ready for us. We negotiated my trade-in & bought the car in ~1.5 hours! I had secured my own financing before arriving but they made it easy with the same 1.9% interest rate, so I went with theirs. They even stayed open late for us to finish the financing (thanks Glenn!) and Mark stayed late to see us me in my new car. I even got to slam the gong 3x when I got the keys in hand! All in all, I can't speak highly enough of the customer service skills of Mark to help sell me this fabulous Honda Pilot. I was nervous about the large purchase but he made it all so much better & enjoyable. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! I purchased what was supposed to a CERTIFIED PRE OWNED Jeep Grand Cherokee. My sales person was Shawn. He stated that the vehicle was previous lease from a business man in the area. It only had 20,000 miles on it. 10 minutes off of the lot I saw star nicks in the windshield. It took them 3 weeks to fix it. In less than 90 days of me having the vehicle my front passenger headlight goes out and my radio which controls my GPS doesn't work. According to the service dept the radio is coming apart and needs to be replaced they quoted me over $1700. Which I have in writing. The panel is hanging off of the vehicle by the passenger window behind the drivers seat and the drivers seat motor is dying. I am 4'11 and less that 160 lbs so its not my weight. I filed a case with their corporate office and they don't seem to care much either. Just overwhelmed with a lot of cases. I sent him pictures and video of my vehicle a week ago and he didn't open it until I called. In the video you can see the laminate is peeling from my radio, the background is discolored which looks like moisture damage, my radio is glitching; the screen is jumping all over the place, my front passenger light blown out, the panel is hanging off of my truck and me putting tape on it to hold it on, and you can hear my seat motor screeching loud. ALL OF THIS FROM A VEHICLE I PURCHASED AT 20.000 MILES IN LESS THAN 90 DAY. It didn't even make probation time on a new job!! Yet the corporate case manager seemed very uninterested. Last week he was my cheerleader; understanding and agreeing with me stating that he feels like I inherited pre existing damages but today he was back peddling like a clown on a unicycle in the circus. He stated that he spoke to the Assistant sales manager HOLLY and she stated that they would pay half for the radio and she quoted a little over $1300. I have never even spoke to her! She doesn't know anything about the 3 weeks worth of narrative I had with Travis the manager. I was dealing with the Sales manager Travis who stated that he was going to get my radio fixed; a conversation that I recorded. In the conversation he stated that he had a guy that was going to fix my radio and that he would get back to me and set up a time for me to bring my vehicle to Raleigh since I live in Greensboro. He never got back to me. He was feeding me crap for 3 weeks. So how did we go from fixing it to me paying half. Same dealership yet two different prices quoted. Seems suspect to me. That's a $400 tip. I already gave you $2800 down. No one told me that most of the warranty expired a year ago. They keep pushing the fact that i didn't purchase the extended warranty. Iwas going to do that later, I wasn't expected to need it in 90 days So basically they sold me an AS IS! I purchased a brand new Jeep from them in 2018 and never had an issue. I didn't expect to be so mistreated by a dealership that i trusted. By a company that I USED to love. Being a woman and a black one at that is hard enough but to get shafted is truly unfair. The worst part of it all is when they talk to you like you are clueless. They all keep talking to me like I'm 20 and just landed from another planet and never purchased a car before. I'm still fighting with corporate and I'm going further if I have to. This is going to be an expensive fix and I will not stop fighting until a fair resolution is reached. I was hoodwinked! I will never buy anything from Jeep ever again and I will continue to tell others not to because they don't stand by their customers. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! THEY SOLD ME A LEMON AND WILL NOT RESPOND OR HELP ME. I bought my car 4 months ago, a 2013 GMC Terrain. My dash said that my oil was at 100% due to them servicing my car before I drove off which took TWO hours. However 3 months later my check light came on and they wouldn't look at it. Took it to another dealership and they said my oil was DRY. My dash was still reading that it was 44%. Apparently they never put oil in it and just reseted the oil reader to look like it full. This messed the car up and now the timing chain is messed up and the car had missing bolts, leaving me with over $4000 in repairs. General manager won't return my call and now I'm left with no car and recently had twins !!! Highly not recommended!!!! read more

Hydrate, this might be a while. If you think businesses today are trying to be on the level, sell you a quality product and uphold high standards of customer service think again. If you think sales people are on your side, or are your friend, do not walk into this place because they will eat you for lunch. I am wondering if some of the managers who work this place are psychopaths. The car I was sold had multiple leaks from the radiator, power steering rack, and different hoses when they sold it to me. The engine bay was power washed so I couldn't see the leaks, everything looked clean. The vehicle wasn't hemorrhaging fluid, just dripping few drops every mile. The first time I opened the hood about a week later after I had bought the vehicle And drove it a bit there was vehicle fluids all over the engine bay. and to top it off the brakes were bad and an DTC code for a bad transmission popped up. The code for the transmission has come off and on every few days for the last couple months. It started days after I bought it. I bet it was going on before it was traded in. Even if the light goes off for a vehicle code,It is stored for several cycles of running the vehicle. They would've known it was there. I am not joking. I have receipts for all of this. I have fixed most of it to the tune of $5900. If I knew then what I know now, then I would've walked away from this vehicle, but I am too far into it. these are the types of predicaments you get into when you buy from this dealership. I've had to take out a loan, and open a credit card to keep up with the bills. When I went in to talk to the sales manager, Tyrone, I heard about the as is contract over and over. I am going to speak with a lawyer about this. I feel it's fraud to power washing engine bay, clean it up so no one can see the problems, and then sell it. You can't sell a vehicle with multiple problems that you should know about and say as his contract. The vehicle leaked all over the place, and likely the transmission code was there the whole time. 2000 that vehicle was fraud. read more
