They made me pick a star- but zero stars is my rating…read more We bought a 27 ft round pool from Pool King on Lemay Ferry on 5/4/2024. They have contracted installer ---Mario Emanuel ---- install pools for them. He comes highly recommended by pool king. Installer did not hold up to pool kings terms and provide us an invoice or contract. When we first started talking about Pools as a family we got a quote written by Savannah at Pool King--- which included the liner pad and cove $219.99. We ask for them to write up the quote and purchase the materials on 5/4/2024. Pool liner pad or cover somehow didn't get added. We as new pool owners trusted we were in good hands and had everything we needed to begin our pool journey! We noticed the tracking looked off the day after installation and called Mario. It was midnight and pitch black when they finished installation on 5/18/2024. He said enjoy the pool and we will fix it at the end of season when I called him next day . I have text to prove communication. Our pool never got the cove installed or sand cove (we honestly as new pool owners didn't not even really understand what a cove was until we started getting the quotes for repair) and our pool is falling apart. It was not leveled correctly either. Our liner is showing through because cove was never placed. Pictures included. (First pictures where taken day after pool installed -last pictures are how it progressed after told everything was ok) We have gotten several quotes over $10,000 to fix installer and Pool Kings mistakes. They will have to take down our pool and start over. (They advised it's a safety risk and could break at any moment) We also had a deck installed and it will no longer line up with our pool with the new repairs. I have gone up to Pool King today 8/30/24. I talked with manager Joe Meyer. There was no urgency to have anything completed or resolved. He said I may get a call Tuesday because of the holiday weekend. Mario has ghosted us and not responded since to communication. Pool king is working with us but is insisting we use same installer that caused this mess. We have completely lost trust in this installer and don't feel comfortable with him.

It fit perfectly on the reinforced concrete pad. After the electrician ran the electric Fernando came out on Saturday to start it up and show us how run it and how to use the chemicals. Unfortunately, there was a leak. Fernando found it quickly (a broken fitting in the one motor) A minor repair but he did not have the part. He called up Aspen and got the part and returned. After some time he got it repaired and working perfectly. He put everything back together and we were able to use it that evening. Fernando went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Kudos

We had horrible weather during our install, but they managed to work through the challenges (both weather and our difficult job site). We still use them to open and close our pool. If we ever have a maintenance issue, they are out within a day or two, and often are able to walk us through the steps to fix it without a service call. They have integrity and are a great company to work with. I highly recommend them (and Thursday Pools)!

They showed me a rifle once I provided my State ID and badge. But when I wanted to purchase the rile they asked me if I had "arresting rights" outside of the institution in which I didn't. So they decided I couldn't purchase the rifle. . . But the law is plain on its language of Illinois Dept of Corrections being able to purchase a semi-automatic rifle. Under Peace and Qualified Law Enforcement Officers. "Those section has also been amended to include Correctional Officers in Illinois, whether they be State or County". So for a gun business to pick and choose who gets to purchase by their standards an not by the standards of the law, let me know this business does not respect American citizens, the Illinois Laws and the Federal 2nd Amendment rights of an American Citizen. I will not patronize this business ever again. I drove to another gun shop that sold me the rifle with no problems whatsoever.
