Foxy's Laundromat was a surprisingly great find!…read more First things first: it's CLEAN. And when it comes to laundromats, that's pretty much the love language I'm looking for. They have washers for everything from a regular single load all the way up to a whopping 80 lbs. Basically, if you can drag it through the door, there's probably a machine big enough to wash it. Forgot detergent? They have laundry products available for purchase. You can also use a credit card at the machine to purchase a laundry card, so no need to arrive carrying enough quarters to fund a small arcade. Clean, convenient, plenty of machine sizes, and easy to figure out. Foxy's in Villa Park gets my vote! Now, if they could just figure out how to fold everything and put it away for me, we'd have a 6-star establishment.

The laundromat had a convenient sink and restroom. The laundromat was cozy, and they had at least one nice-looking sofa. You could use credit card for the machines when I was there. There was at least one vending machine for snacks and one for laundry materials, e.g., laundry detergent.

Since we are eating at India Palace (which is in the same plaza) anyway, we brought a laundry basket of wet clothes to throw in the dryer to dry while we have lunch. I have not used a laundromat in over 3 decades, so I cannot comment on prices. This place is very clean and nice, lots of machines but lots of customers as well. Perhaps it is not quite as busy during the week.

Came back to this place because I like that I do not need cash - just load a card worn your credit or debit - Super convenient. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they remodeled, new floors, counters, and machines. Clean, all machines in order, and a live person working to make sure things go well. The bathroom is reserved, under lock (conveniently opens with the card), for customers so it is clean. Will be back next year.

Mounds of stinky teen laundry arrived at my door the next day fresh, clean, and neatly folded. *swoon* How I needed you during the bibs and bottles stage! I'm so glad I did! What a great back-to-school find.

***************2023*********** 01/2023…read moreWell it's been almost 4 years since I reviewed this. There's been some changes through the time. Some of their locations are no longer there Covid happened covid went away we're in the post covid world. One thing that really hasn't changed is the great soap opera laundromat in Downers Grove. This flag store one of their main locations today's busy almost all the time. It usually find people washing clothes themselves all hours of the night the middle of the night the first thing it's really nice about it is after hours when they go home you have to have a pass card to get in. You can purchase one you don't even have to have a balance it's just a classic swipe card they have a vending machine for it put a dollar in get the thing. It gets you in 24/7 all the time One thing to know about it though if you're only coming in to use the can and you don't use any services because everything is done with a pass card if you don't put money in the machine you use your pass card you load the card and then you swipe a machine to start it etc while you have a balance. That being said if you only come in and use the toilet six times your card is turned off LOL. Then you got to spend a buck and get another one. This policy was put in place to keep derelicts, homeless bums, tweakers, riff Raff and shifty people up to no good out. Now if you do laundry yourself they are full service they have your standard size washers like at home they've got the extra large and then they got what I call the monsters.. same with the dryers. It's very clean inside temperature control is good yes it's fairly cool even in the summer I've been using them for quite a few years ever since I found out one time when I came in with the shitload of laundry cuz the other place at the time had closed so I was hunting down another location a different facility and business completely mind you. So I came in with bags and bags poundage and they said you know we could do that for you. I said really? They said yup. We offer full laundry service folding you don't even have to use our detergent you could bring your own in give it to us and we'll give you back when you're done. I said hell yeah we about the credit card I think it was about 50 something bucks it was like 30 lb or something I can't remember it was something really heavy cuz I had blankets and all kinds of crap but I hate doing laundry. So next thing you know BadacBing Bada Boom I get a call two days later laundry is done come pick it up. So that's begin my relationship has continued to this day.. did you offer delivery if you're in the area it's about 15 bucks but it's close to where I parked the truck so I don't mind just zipping up the interstate running the side roads and dropping off and picking up it's all good. The quality is fantastic the clothes come out nice and clean they're folded they're separated in the bags between shirts and of course your skivvies and socks and then your jeans pants and the hanger stuff nicely done even on the hangers. So I decided this last round I was impressed at how fast they got it done being it was the holiday I dropped it off and they were calling me a day later said it's done it was about half of what I usually bring in but it was a good 26 bucks worth. But having the text saying your laundry is done come pick it up and the fact that they were in on New Year's Day and the customer service part was another big plus so there's the five bar full Stars. More than satisfied with what I get.

My mother just went to this RIPOFF laundromat only to dry some rugs but customers have to buy a…read morecard that they put money on and can't get back, by the way, in order to do simple laundry. My senior citizen mom got ripped off putting 5 dollars in to get a 4 dollar card, then had to use a credit card (minimum 10 dollars) to buy another card, even though the drying was probably only 5 bucks or so . What is this, Chuck E Cheese's? This scam is so you always have money left on the card at the end and have to keep going back to use it up, then spend more because it's not enough, it's never exactly the same. The point of this SCAM is the owner gets to keep a lot of leftover money that one-timers never can use. I'll hang up the rugs on a clothesline before I ever go back to this SCAM-dromat and let my senior mother get ripped off again

First off. Is my first visit to this location. Not impressed! The SMELL is awful. I only stayed to…read moredo my laundry because I did not have time to drive around @5 o'clock in the morning looking for another place. The SMELL smells like when you leave a load of laundry that finishes without it drying & you go to get it out of the washer. Maybe the smell is coming from the Mop Bucket around the corner in the back. Or maybe there is a leak somewhere ? The television had no remote, no music in there. The whole time I was in there I heard rattling rooftop. Sounded like the roof was going to rip right off. Also 2 different Spanish men entered the back entrance of the building. Not together, separately about 5 mins apart. They looked seedy to me. They said nothing to me. Didn't seem to have any purpose there. Both of them went to the area around the corner in the back of the Laundramat near the Mop/Bucket. Maybe is was a Drug Drop??? I noticed "after" they entered the back building entrance the door would not stay closed. Kept swinging open. I certainly will never return to this location. Not much parking at all, It smells discusting & I did not feel safe there. Besides that the way the Laundramat is set up inside lacks convenience!
