Poor pool liner installation. The liner failed after a short time due to a poor seam joined in installation. The cement around the pool which had to be replaced in sections during install, failed and caved in. Poor response followed after multiple calls. We had a Viking fiberglass pool installed last fall. Leisure Tech did right by the installation, but that's where the service ended. We were told we'd be priority come spring to finish the job. They did the coping around the pool (3 times to get it right), only to have it repaired by the mason we hired to do the pool's patio. (That convinced us to pass on having them lay the patio and install the fence) Still waiting for them to install the fountains and set the pool equipment on a solid surface. We paid in full and haven't heard from them since except to say we weren't their priority. They said they'd leave the yard"grass seed ready"-not even close. Thanks Mike. Do yourselves a favor and just let them put the pool in and be done with them. Hire out the finishing work. read more

First of all , 3-4 years ago I had them install a radient pool as they were the only dealer in the area. They installed it, but the installers dented and pierced one of the panels. They wouldn't do anything about it nor would they even reassure me that the panel still was ok structurally until I asked. Next, first summer my pump blew. As it was under warranty teny replaces it. Wong a used pump. It still had leaves in it. This year the liner went. They do not return phone calls or emails. If you get them on the phone. They act confused and say they'll call back. Beware of this company. Take a look at the photos our of yard, and see for yourself. Click on the slideshow link on YouTube and remember - we have paid $23,000, ($21,500 to Leisure Tech, and $1,500 to other pool companies to try to fix the pool) Again for the second summer, we cannot use it. The first pictures are pictures of the way the installers left the pool. Last summer and now this summer we have absolutely no use of the pool. Please note the height (33 inches out of the ground) of the "half in" pool, which is only 48" deep. Photos are on the YouTube Link: https://youtu.be/DPbko3JAJVA We contacted with Leisure Tech almost two years ago (2014), We have paid this company $21,500 for a "half-inground" pool, (called a Radiant pool). The company took half payment, and did not come back for months, despite frequent phone calls wondering if installation will ever occur. They came in November, installed the pool, filled it, covered it and left. (Please note the photos of the pool parts thrown on the ground around the yard). They overfilled it with water, and by the following month, when the temperatures froze, the filter/skimmer box was cracked and ruined. (see photos) The "half inground pool" is not half at all. it is completely above the ground. like a $4000 pool would cost. It is crooked. The filter is the smallest pool filter, such that you would get with a Walmart inflatable pool. It does not circulate the water, so the pool water is black, complete with giant water beetles, tadpoles and frogs. We cannot get the water to stay clear for more than a day. The pool was never electrically bonded, and is therefore unsafe to swim in. The owner's answer to that: "Just unplug it before you swim in it". I have three children, and will not allow them to be in a pool they could be electrocuted and killed in. The dirt from the excavation was left in piles on one side of the pool, making our yard lopsided. (see full yard photo) The "wedding tier" stairs (which we were charged extra for) cannot be affixed to the ground, because the handle is not long enough to reach and bolt to the ground (since the pool sits three feet above the ground) The stairs just float around the pool, turning sideways, or sometimes upside down. They did not give us a ladder, so we cannot get in or out of the pool safely. Our youngest child cannot even get into the pool, let alone get out, on the three days last summer that the water was not black or filled with critters. More about the critters to follow. The list goes on and on, but the pictures say it all. Our oldest daughter graduates next week, and there will be 100 people at our party, which has to be held in our FRONT LAWN, because the back yard, for a second summer now, is unusable due the the botched installation of this pool. Also, the smell of the water is vile because the filter is not able to circulate the water, so it sits stagnant and brown, filled with tadpoles and giant water beetles. In fact, the techincian that came from Leisure Tech to look at it last summer took one of the water beetles back to the stop, in shock at how huge it was. He wanted to show his coworkers this giant creature living in the black murk of our pool water. The filter and pump is the bottom of the line, inadequate for a pool this size. We have consulted with two other pool companies, who cannot get their techs to get this pool usable, and cannot believe that Leisure Tech could take our money and leave us with an unusable, unsafe pool. . We have 100 people coming to our front yard graduation party next Saturday, June 25. When they hear our story, we will make sure that to tell them to tell all the people they know. It is my goal to make sure Leisure Tech will never get a spec of business again. We have also had a sign made so that everyone at the party and everyone that drives by knows that this pool was installed by Leisure Tech of Hyde Park. To reiterate, we wrote and called the company, and offered another $4000 to address and fix the issues with the pool, and Mike, the owner said, "I am not going to do anything about it". Leisure Tech helped me get my pool in, and I have no hesitations recommending them. They worked back and forth with my landscaper until it was done right, and came by afterwards to make sure everything was working properly and that I understood it. read more

One star is tooooo much! RUN.... don't walk away from this company!!!! They (both Michaels) say and promise the world, hide behind their company and.... deliver nothing but shoddy work, broken promises and ZERO follow through. Then, to add insult to injury.... to correct/remedy ONE of THEIR ERRORS( an elevation problem that we discovered), I was handed a bill for almost $11,000 in ADDITION to the almost $30,000 they already got paid!!!!! This year, the almost new, 2 year old PUMP stopped working 2 weeks after we opened the pool in June. Why???? Who knows but.... They installed a 1 hp pump for an 18x36 x 9 ft deep pool. I was advised by other pool professionals that MINIMALLY a 2 hp pump should have been installed for the size of the pool!! Save yourself time, work, money, heartache, aggrivation,disappointment and a LESS THAN acceptable job and... RUN away from these smooth talking, less than reputable people. read more

I would not recommend this company for a pool installation. Once you sign the contract and give them a deposit, they do not return calls or follow up. No plan, as promised on the website, is ever received. Salesperson promises many things and then blames owner when they are not delivered. Owner Mike, NEVER responds to calls or emails... with the one exception when we canceled contract 4 months later and asked for our deposit back. He said he would not give it back to us. We are taking legal action. Run very far away from Mike and Leisure Tech. Price is a lowball. After reviewing other legitimate pool companies, we determined that the contract eliminates many basics to get the pool up and running. it would cost us upwards of additional $10K after installation. (i.e, no plumber for heater, etc.) They were a no show on the day they said they would deliver bulldozer, and then it took three text messages to the salesperson the next day asking what happened before he replied. We saw the writing on the wall and canceled; so many promise not delivered. If they don't respond to you when you are a "sale", you certainly won't hear from them if you ever have an issue and need them to come back. I only gave them one star to so it would register. I would give them a negative star if possible. read more

Leisure Tech installed our pool 4 years ago and has been attentive and responsive to its maintenance and repair. They rapidly address any issues or problems we may have and keep the pool sparkling clean. The staff is friendly, reliable and knowledgeable about all things 'pool'! read more

When setting up my pool this summer, LT was very helpful. They tested my pool water and told me exactly what chemicals I needed to add, and how much of each. They had the chemicals in stock so it was very easy to clean my pool up so I can enjoy my summer! read more

Had a pretty bad experience with LiesureTech, I wish I could recommend, but I can't. Would suggest a more reputable pool contractor.
