I saw photos of sugaring (which is a type of waxing but without the danger of skin being pull off you) and waxing in the pictures on the Yelp page, but when I called the number, I get a woman who is in charge of The Sunrise Hair Stuido. The address is in a competly different area. I will looked into this and found Spring Home Care which has been here for 2 years. The last review posted for Sue's Skin Care was on 2-11-17 by Sandra L. The math is not adding up. Spring Home Care is here now and the phone number for Sue Skin Care is answered by a woman that owns two businesses or more. The address for Sue Skin Care turns out to be the address for Sunrise Hair Stuido at: 119 S Fairfax St, Alexandria, VA 22314 703-942-7147....calling this number gets you the manager for Sunrise Hair Stuido. The web address doesn't work either. I wanted to make use of the 50% off Brazilian Sugaring. The manager of Spring Home Stuido spoke with the owner/manager of Sue Skin Care and got the same thing. Evidently this place went bye bye, or there was a name change. I would have been fine with that, but the manger on the phone for Sue Skin Care said this was name of her business...so I am lead to believe this is bullshit...Nevertheless, "the game is afoot." This is the number for Spring Home Stuido which is now in place of Sue Skin Care 703-642-1000

I was so embarrassed when I looked down at my phone and realized I showed up on the wrong day! I had the right date in my phone, but the wrong date in my head:) Still, G was so kind to go above and beyond to manually schedule me for another appointment that would work best for my schedule going forward. At no point did she make me feel uncomfortable to speak to me in a demeaning tone. Instead, she laughed it off and said, "no problem! Let's see when I get you in!" Here is the real humbling part.... G scheduled me for a 8 am appointment on Saturday because that is what worked best for ME. This is OUTSIDE of regular business hours. Who does that?! A true professional, one who is passionate about her business and client's needs. I even received a courtesy reminder the day before. Feedback specific to G, the owner: G is a thorough professional with a passion for skin care. She is kind, honest, and laid back. She took the time to understand my skin and explain what she was doing. Additionally, she is a great conversationalist, one who goes above and beyond to make sure her client (GROUPON CLIENT) is comfortable. Feedback on skin/service: My skin feels amazing and I can already see the difference. It feels smoother and softer to the touch. It is important to point out that I actually purchased my groupon because of my friend's glowing face. More specifically, I noticed that my friend's skin was brighter, more youthful, and literally glowing... She referred me to G's skincare center and assured me that I would not be dissapointed. I decided to go the Groupon route since I wanted to "try it out" before really becoming a vested client. After just this one visit, I have no doubt that I will be returning for monthly visits. I would highly recommend G's Ageless Skin Center to anyone looking for a truly remarkable experience. That's really what it is! Not just a facial...but an experience that leaves you feeling relaxed, pampered, and of course- glowing:) I can't wait to go back!

Nahid and Parissa are two sisters who work here and they are extremely sweet, courteous and accommodating. This was my first experience with laser hair removal and I tried it without any high expectations; but just after the first session, I started noticing some hair reduction. I continued the treatment, and after 6-7 sessions I have experienced about a 70-80% hair reduction on the treatment areas. My friends have also tried laser hair removal, but it hasn't worked for them. So this means the type of laser equipment being used is crucial and Denude Med's actually works! After 3 years I am still a very happy and satisfied client. Nahid does all my treatments and she is absolutely great! I found this place on Groupon, and even though they don't do deals anymore, they have ongoing discounts and specials on their website.

First impression of the building is that it's old and it's in the heart of Annandale, inside is very dated as well. The spa is located on the 2nd floor and has a very corky decor. The lady was signed me up was named Parisa and seemed a bit cold when she gave me the form to fill. After waiting another 20 minutes, I was called in, the room was clean but small. She explained the process and answered all my questions. She asked me to laser a small part of my leg to see how I react. Let me tell you it was terrible. The machine would suck my skin gently and shot heat as it let it go. My leg was burning the entire day. She did apply tea tree oil on the spot. If you ever had a feeling of your skin burning that's how it felt all day. Not sure what machine they sure but from what I remember it was Lumise or something similar. I won't be going to this place just coz it didn't feel like the right laser to me. I have seen over laser machines. Btw $200 for the whole body but all that burning feeling for a whole day or night is not worth it to me.
