Leigh and his team are top notch - the best in the city. We have listed two properties with Leigh in the last few years and both sold within two weeks. They are knowledgeable of the market and just get it done. No stress. And when there is stress, they are there. Leigh picked up the phone for me at 6:45am to answer a question that was on my mind. I can't speak highly enough of Leigh and his team. read more

We worked with Leigh's office to both sell our home in Roscoe Village and buy a new one in North Center. Leigh was very knowledgeable about the north side neighborhoods, corresponding school districts, and different home types (new builds, tear downs, conversions). He understood how our home stood up against current homes for sale and was able to help us price and market our home well. We also needed to have a few last minute things done to our home to get it ready to sell and his team was always attentive and helpful in finding the right resources and ensuring things were addressed right away. read more

I have done countless real estate transactions with Leigh and his team and they are the utmost professionals. I first met Leigh when he was the selling agent on the home I ended up buying. He was completely upfront and transparent throughout the entire process. From the showing all the way through the inspection and ultimately the closing, he and his team were incredibly responsive in answering all of my questions. Since then I have done loans for numerous clients that were either using Leigh as their agent, or buying a property that Leigh was selling. The consistency of their service is unmatched. They treat every deal like it's their #1 priority and ultimately make the process incredibly smooth for all parties. I would recommend Leigh and his team to anyone looking to buy or sell real estate. read more

We communicated with our realtor after we signed with them maybe twice? She didn't even call us after the closing! My other realtors have all given thank you gifts and we didn't even receive a phone call. This is the 5th house I've sold in the past 10 years and the worst experience I've ever had. read more

Leigh and his team are amazing from start to finish. They are knowledgeable, insightful, thorough, helpful, supportive and extremely professional. We had a wonderful experience with Leigh selling our condo. In 2012, when we would have liked to sell, our home was "underwater" thanks to the housing crises in the late 2000s. Leigh helped us to navigate the idea of potentially selling and was supportive when we decided it wasn't the right time. We touched base with him over several years trying to determine the right time to sell. When it was time, he and his team did an excellent job listing, showing, and quickly finding a buyer. We got a great price and the entire process was smooth and headache-free thanks to his team's expertise. They had an answer for all our questions and went above and beyond to help us out. My husband and I would highly recommend Leigh. read more

Leigh and his team do real estate right. We initially established a relationship with Leigh 5 years ago and he does a great job learning your real estate needs, offering advice, and staying on top of the Chicago market. He stays in touch and also makes himself available anytime you have questions (even when we weren't buying/selling). I've dealt with other realtors in Chicago and I wouldn't even consider anyone else for Chicago. We recently sold our condo and it couldn't have been easier. If you are looking to sell/buy a home in Chicago, there's no need to look anywhere else. His team is professional, knowledgeable, and super easy to work with. He has relationships with great vendors that make the process of hiring contractors, staging, finding attorneys, etc. seamless. He even has specialist within his team to handle each part of the transaction. The team goes above and beyond. For example, we got a call from property management that our the fire alarm was beeping in our unoccupied unit and a team member stopped in and replaced it saving us a trip to the unit. We always felt like we were getting good advice and I'm confident following his advice allowed us for a quick sale at top dollar. Our home sold after the first open house (1 week), similar recent units in our complex took months and/or are still on the market. My advice is to listen to Leigh when he tells you to spend the money to make your home move in ready, stage it, and then be ready for a quick sale. read more

We sold our house located on the North Side of Chicago; it has been in our family since 1995. Filled with 25 years plus of family memories and milestones. It was a most difficult decision to make when we decided to put our home on the market and let another family begin/continue their life's journey of home ownership. Then the realization hit, we realized two things, first we had to choose a realtor and second, we knew almost nothing of the process of selling or financial aspect of such a transaction. We conducted extensive on-line research and we decided to see what realtors were trusted in our neighborhood as well as some surrounding neighborhoods. We decided to give Leigh Marcus a call. From the first phone call we knew they were the realtors for us. Professional, courteous, welcoming, knowledgeable, fair, and most of all caring. Most of what I described is self-explanatory but caring, they cared enough to make sure we understood the whole process, answering every question we had, and we had many. They took time to address a couple of repair issues I couldn't due to being out of state. Leigh Marcus's Team had professionals conduct needed repairs expertly. The financial aspect affects buyers and sellers alike, they explained and rightly justified every part of the sale, made novices such as us understand and have confidence that our and the buyer's best interests were paramount. They were super transparent, expertly explained everything as the process unfolded. Leigh Marcus and team will defiantly be our choice again when we decide to buy or sell in the future. read more

Leigh and his team are shockingly good at what they do. We sold our Roscoe Village SFH with Leigh and could not have been happier with their service. We went through some ups and downs with getting our old house ready to sell, and Leigh and his team were incredibly supportive through everything. Even with ~50 or more listing going, Leigh and his team make you feel like their most important client. Leigh made himself personally available whenever we needed him; his main office worker Shannon is beyond belief responsive and helpful and knowledgeable. With Leigh's team you really feel you've got an army at your back. They are great at holding your hand through the process, and they market the he** out of your property.
