I tried the online flower delivery services previously and those flowers required my wife to assemble the flowers and vase herself in addition to arriving at the end of the work day sometimes causing me to spoil the surprise and tell her to wait a work for her flowers. Judys always gets the flowers to my wife early in the day, fully assembled. I will always go to Judys for all my floral needs!

Been a few years and many miles but they're still the number one florist on Oahu for me. It's staggering the amount of flowers, leis, haku, etc are offered here. Needed some fresh flowers for someone's birthday and I didn't want to play "roses roulette" with the typical less-than-stellar selection at the...ah... neighborhood grocery stores' inventory which is very convenient, but comes at the expense of quality. Ms Emma at Watanabe was absolutely brilliant, kind, patient and helpful with my questions. She engineered a most lovely arrangement complete with 2-dozen South American long stems, baby's breath, and St John's Wort flowers! Not only did they look amazing the day of the event but a week later they were still intact and blossoming slowly. Most other florists the petals start to fall on day 2 or 3. Will be back. Later, I saw more of her work, at the Kuhio Village Towers condo, and, more recently, at the Waikiki Banyan condo/hotel. I'm an eye witness to the fact that she is an absolute ARTIST, GENIUS, and WIZARD, when it comes to plants. She knows plants which can live in a pot indoors, with no sunlight, no fresh air, and little or no watering or fertilizing, i.e., virtually maintenance free, and yet they remain green, healthy, and beautiful, and do not shed any leaves or anything else. They are some kind of cave-dweller plants, and can grow big. Under her direction, the plants and landscaping at the Waikiki Banyan changed from the former "so-so", "okay" job, to a striking exhibit of beautiful artistry and impressive mastery with plants. I've never in my life known of anyone else who is better with plants than Susan Knott of the Why Knott Nursery.

I loved looking around at all the plants. As in most places in Hawai'i, if you're prone to getting bug bites (aka me), you might wanna spray on some protection or cover up. I love that they have a mix of plants, produce, and really cute products. Everything you'd need from moss poles, spray bottles, ceramic pots of all sizes. I even got a really cute plant sticker for my water bottle.

However, at the event itself i saw pets walking on leashes so maybe they became flexible day of? it was too hot on a summer day so poor doggies to be walking on hot pavement. :( i kept them away from the market inside and if i saw food planted on the ground etc. the food vendors had a separate area off to the side which was really hard to get to with a stroller with all the gravel so i decided to skip it too. at the event there was barely no parking - i luckily found street parking in the housing area and walked over which took about 15 minutes i think. During the event the road is super narrow and only one car can get in and out of the housing area around mari's garden.
