That sent a lot of water into our newly remodeled bathroom, hallway, and laundry room. We had recently been inspired by watching Renovation 911 which is a new renovation show on HGTV based here in MN. It was this inspiration that led us to contact them. Aaron came out right away and accessed our situation. He advised us that the water had gone under the floor into these other rooms and hallway. Aaron was able to remove our sink and floor in the bathroom, pull up some carpet and cut out some drywall. He then set up fans and equipment to start the drying process. I believe her name was Kathy, then came out a few times including on the weekend to check the status of the drying process. Once everything was dried, I advised Aaron that we would like their team to also handle the rebuild. Aaron referred me to Drew who contacted our insurance agent and assigned our file to Mark G. This is where everything went downhill. For the next 30 days, 30 days, I emailed, called and texted Mark. Sometimes he replied, sometimes he didn't. When he did, he would say that he was waiting for something from our insurance. So I would call my insurance agent, he advised me everything had been approved. I would then go back to Mark who said he still was waiting for information. After 30 days of confirming with our insurance and repeated attempts to contact Mark, we figured they had other projects that were more important. I again contacted my insurance agent and requested that the approved amount be sent to me. I then advised Drew and Mark that we would be going in a different direction. We did our own research, and about two weeks later we had the carpet installed, the bathroom floor, sink and vanity installed, and the drywall completed. Clearly it seems that our business was not important to them, however we are very thankful to the companies that cared enough to help us complete our project.

One week and a failed experiment in DIY plumbing later, I decided that something ELSE must be done, and that it would involve a professional. Google brought me to Augie. His website was informative and, given the option, I'll usually go with a local small business. However, when I called, the recording on the other end of the line told me he was away fulfilling his obligation with the National Guard. I certainly couldn't fault him for that, but the clog had only been getting worse, and this could not wait. Dejectedly, I called a big chain drain-cleaning company, navigated the phone tree, and got put on hold twice, when a familiar number popped back up on my screen--Auggie called me back. He was free. He wanted to clean my drain. Things were starting to turn around. He showed up promptly, right when he said he would, even though it was the weekend. Super-friendly. He quickly diagnosed and solved the problem, even with my old pipes, even though I had the type of trap he was hoping I didn't. He even gave me some advise about insulting my pipes and whatnot. Nice guy. Doesn't take credit cards. No big deal. In conclusion: An absolute pleasure to do business with.

We went with Touchdown Tile for our upstairs bathroom remodel, as they came highly recommended. We…read morereceived our estimate at the beginning of September in 2024, Final payment 12/30. Initially we were told it would be done by Thanksgiving and it ended up going through Christmas. Throughout this process there were numerous issues. They installed a bath fan that still did not work appropriately and the contractor put his foot through the newly finished knockdown ceiling, floor tile improperly laid, improper grouting (they had to reapply multiple times), electrical outlet and switch not installed level, they damaged the bathtub, the entire tile surround in shower was installed badly and waving. Not to mention the mess left outside, drywall compound/grout water being dumped in my backyard and damaged my siding/grass; and a piece of plywood in the front yard that was buried by snow during the project and killed my grass when found in spring. Due to this, I reached out to the GC about my complaints in March of 2025. The GC was shocked by the quality of the initial job and stated he would correct the mistakes. They finished corrections in January 2026. After the "corrections", the bathroom fan doesn't work and drips a lot of water when in use. The entire surround was replaced and still not done well, the tiles aren't aligned and in one spot i have a cut myself a few times from the tile jutting out. Not to mention, I purchased this tile for the contractors and didn't receive payment until the fix was complete months later. This was brought up during the second surround installation and the solution was to add more grout to the bottom of the jutting out tile. This grout has since deteriorated and it is sharp again. Grouting was done incorrectly and redone 3 times during the fix. Multiple attempts to patch the damage to the tub were done, damage still visible in 2 spots. They tiled over a water pipe that held the shower wand, so we had to wait for the GC to drill into the tile to reveal the pipe. The plumber came out to the drilling being incomplete and had to reschedule multiple times. To the plumber and I's dismay, this delayed the process. On the other side of the shower there is a closet with an access panel which has began to show increased signs of water intrusion at the top of the wall near the shower head. In the end, I was compensated for the tile I purchased + a little extra. (this did not cover the cost of tile plus interest due to delays). Plus a bathroom with improper tiling, a steam issue (to the point it has rusted the light fixture in the bathroom), and incredibly messy finishes (including towel racks falling out of wall). We wasted 20k dollars and will have to pay to have the bathroom remodeled, yet again. BEWARE, please think twice before using this company. I will not be recommending/referring them to any friends, family, or clients.
