I am very very disappointed in how techs handle certain situations and actually found a MAJOR issue in open ductwork in unfinished basement that NO ONE from this company even bothered to look into or do any sort of testing to find out root cause....when I stated that my husband and I smelled musty, dusty smells and were affected by allergies, I was told 'this is normal' and nothing else. ???? You pay almost $400 for their better tier plan for HVAC service, and what you get is little to NOTHING. The tech barely does anything and if you state you have issues, they blow you off. Lazy!!!! I hired another company to install a new system, wasn't about to give this company anymore of my money. They found a cracked UV bulb that Hotzople had replaced, my filter area was jacked and should have been fixed a LONG time ago, and I today found an extra tubing coming off my duct in basement that was never capped off, thus rendering my entire system basically non functional -- at least very wasteful..... I cannot believe this has been for 7 years and Hotzople NEVER once checked for any duct work issues, or anything or ran any tests, I was systematically blown off, these guys do they BARE Minimum and ONLY care about collecting their yearly $s for maintenance. I highly suggest everyone EDUCATE yourself about HVAC before hiring ANYONE, these companies anymore have become greedy, they don't care. I was also told I had issues with my old system, but never was 'shown' WHAT those issues were fully. Trust is a BIG thing if you want to keep your company running....these guys 100% lost my trust and now someone else will be getting my money!

It was warm, and I had a bunch of family in town for the holidays and an extremely hot house wasn't going to work for me. I called Holtzople around 10 am, they answered the phone live (only company I could find that didn't go to VM) and Jerred was out within a few hours. He was very informative and quick (which was important because, no offense to Jerred, I prefer to spend the holiday with my family instead of him) and didn't even charge extra because it was a holiday. Turns out I had a contactor that went bad (he showed it to me... it was literally burnt at the top) and was a pretty quick and easy fix. Warning to ALL- McCrea heating and air conditioning should…read morebe avoided at all cost! They are the company that installed all of our the HVAC systems in our neighborhood. We moved out today and unfortunately, on our last night, the blower on our heat pump (upstairs) failed. I called McCrea and explained the situation...takes FOREVER to get a response! They stated they could be out Monday...after I had just told them we were leaving the state today. I was able to get a tech from B & B plumbing to come out (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and he diagnosed that the blower failed. It should be under a 10 year warranty if McCrea had registered it when installed. They did not. So it had a 5 year warranty and it was a MONTH over 5 years...and McCrea would not honor the warranty. "The homeowner is supposed to register their equipment". Has ANYONE done that? B&B registers all equipment upon installation. McCrea said they register all equipment upon install BUT NOT ON NEW CONSTRUCTION! Makes no sense and it cost us over $2500 on our last day in the house. They were not sorry, they didn't care at all. DO NOT USE MCCREA FOR ANYTHING! Use B&B- they care. Good luck all!
