The technician they sent was incredibly nice, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain what he was finding, answer all of our questions, and share helpful information about our home's plumbing. He was excellent at troubleshooting and methodically tracked down the source of the leak. He not only found the problem, but was able to repair it for us on the spot. If you suspect you have a leak, I would definitely recommend calling Dan's Plumbing before going straight to a specialized leak-detection company. The front office was also fantastic. They were responsive, helpful, and kept us updated with text messages throughout the process, which made everything so easy. It's rare to find a company that combines great service, expertise, responsiveness, and genuinely good people. We had such a great experience with Dan's Plumbing and wouldn't hesitate to call them again. Highly recommend!

I would have given additional stars, but they did not disclose upfront, that I would be paying a credit card transaction fee. Had I known, I would have provided an alternative method of payment. The transaction fee was $47 (over 3.25% of my hefty bill). Tip: They only accept credit card, cash, check - no Venmo, Zelle. **Do be sure to ask about the transaction fee before paying and it isn't disclosed. Lastly, a corner of my panel was damaged during install, and I addressed via email, but never heard back. If you're reading this, Burkell, please respond back as I would be happy to revise my review. Thanks!

But the job site was still ongoing so I wasn't too worried. It's been over 4 months since the units have been installed. They still don't work. I'm concerned. There is a "part" that was broken and back ordered. What?! For 4 months??!!! Chris has said he would be out a half dozen times. He no-shows every time. I understand that sending estimators out costs money and that not every bid results in a job, but charging simply to provide an estimate is not something I expect from a commercial contractor. We were able to obtain a bid from another reputable Marin County plumbing company at no charge and ultimately awarded them the project. While everyone has the right to run their business as they see fit, this pricing policy was disappointing and was enough for us to look elsewhere.

They responded immediately but then insisted, after confirming that I'm the homeowner, a "decision maker" be onsite. I verified that, as the homeowner, I AM the decision maker. They stopped responding after that. I ran into something similar with Elevated Comfort, where the dispatcher said over the phone "We'll talk to your husband, since he's the decision maker" and I needed to state that he's not in any way, shape or form involved as he's not on the deed nor financially responsible. They eventually provided an estimate. Gotelli opted to not continue the conversation. I feel this was a related situation. Solo women homeowners are NOT rare so I don't know what the hesitation is. I did end up hiring someone else for the same job and it worked out beautifully.
