If I could give a negative score I would. We trusted Lorna to watch our 3 cats and leopard gecko…read morefor 6 days. Not only did we have to cut our trip short, but the standard of care that was promised was not delivered. Lorna promised to call when she started to let us know everything was OK. When I hadn't heard from her, I got nervous and called her. Lorna had trouble getting the front door key to work, but instead of calling (she had multiple phone numbers to use and instructions to call if anything came up), her plan was to try again the next day -- without feeding the cats or letting us know that there had been a problem. That judgment on her part nearly caused my fiance to fly home immediately. We suggested that she try WD40 in the lock -- rather than the wax she had thought of trying -- and she got in. I should note that we examined the lock and the key upon our return and had absolutely no trouble locking or unlocking the door. We locked and unlocked it a couple of dozen times and were able to open the door every time. After that first day, we felt we needed to check in every day, and when Lorna reported more trouble with the lock, we decided to return early as we did not trust that she could reliably manage the situation. She had also promised to clean the 3 litter boxes once per day (if not, it can get to be quite a mess). We were gone 4 days and the boxes had never been cleaned. Upon our return, there was urine and feces outside all of the boxes. Lorna also promised to clean out the water dish (we have a drink well), it was dirty and there was food debris in the bottom. Bottom line...Although Lorna seems to be a nice person who cares a lot about animals, she did not demonstrate the level of professionalism one would expect from a full-time pet sitter. If and when we need a cat sitter again, I plan on calling our veterinarian for a recommendation.

The staff is amazing. Each person who works there is so friendly, and my dog adores them. Daycare…read moreis conveniently located and comparably priced to other facilities. The half day price (for up to 6 hours) is $32 whereas the full day price is $42. The security is really awesome. You walk through two doors to get in, so there is a buffer between you and the front desk in the event of dog anxiety upon entering. The dogs are walked through two doors behind reception to get to their space. This also provides a layer of protection and extra safety. That said, I am having trouble justifying the cost of the boarding services. For essentially the same price as a full day of daycare, your dog is left alone at the facility overnight. When I say alone, I mean there is not a person on site. They have told us there is a staff member watching the animals via camera from some unknown location, but basically, if there is a scuffle or an emergency in the off hours, you better hope your dog is scrappy. Maybe I have been spoiled in the past, but I have paid $50 per night at other facilities for the comfort of knowing that someone is there working the graveyard shift. They sleep on site in case of emergency. I am so torn about dropping her off for boarding because I could just as easily leave her in her crate overnight and watch her on a camera. Ugh. I am so torn. I am really happy with the daycare part and with the staff, but I am searching for a new boarding facility. Also, there is a sign at the front desk that offers a free day of daycare in exchange for a *positive* Yelp review, but I feel strongly that businesses should reward *honest* reviews--good or bad--and work on fixing what is broken rather than skew ratings.

Also, our dog isn't keen on other dogs, and they have a Personal Care program where your dog hangs out with the staff exclusively. It was perfect for our doggo, and I don't think it's common at other boarders. While I could tell he missed us when we picked him up, he was clearly enjoying himself and wasn't anxious to leave. That all adds up to very good impressions for TTL.
