as a parent the room is not clean enough and we find out they forget to take of the cleaning towel after The room doesn't have a telephone

Not that much , will not stay again in lego land hotel despite my son loves the place , not clean hotel

We went last a Saturday and many of the rides were broken down, leading to long queues at the rides that were working. The place felt a little tired and weathered, in need of some TLC and a good clean. Many of the lego figures were faded and some were broken. Visitors beware!

the power of internet! you can actually book your entire holiday trip without even leaving your armchair! and the website for legoland was so comprehensive and seductive that you cant help but make your booking, right there, right then! and when they throw in a free day's worth of legoland fun, if you stay at the resort hotel, it becomes a no brainer. yes, you most definitely can get cheaper rooms in the windsor area. but can the whole family stay together in a super well appointed pirate themed room that can accommodate 5, all with their very own bed? here at legoland resort hotel, you can! yes, you can actually do a short road trip from london without having to stay the night. but the paid parking for regular park visitors can be a nightmare, very crowded and muddy at times. whereas if you stay at the resort, it's free, and hassle free, parking within stones throw from the resort's main entrance. the facade is well decorated with fascinating lego sculptures to greet your arrival. a stroll through the main entrance and you are in wonderland. immediately, a lego pool awaits you, not a real pool but a play pen filled with endless pieces of lego to stimulate the most imaginative of minds and to whilst your time away whenever you are waiting in the lobby area. many more lego sculptures anoint the entire hotel. a separate queue for checking in and checking out shows how thoughtful they are. you can also pre-check in, leave your luggage with the porter and scoot off to legoland immediately! on departure day, keep the same luggage tags and they will move your luggage from your room to storage when you check out. the hotel's rear entrance gives you direct and quick access into legoland, with a lake greeting you flanked by adventure land! dont forget your reentry chop if you are not done for the day. back for check in at 3pm sharp and the room was ready with all our luggage send there. the lifts talk to you and the floor to ceiling themed decor really gets you in the mood. once through our room door, the pirate theme continued. it was definitely a WOW moment!!! kiddo bunk beds with an additional 3rd pull out, if required and their own tv. a queen sized bed for adults in a separate section also dressed in theme. pirate lego figurines, spinning block puzzles and a locked monkey king's treasure chest with clues for you to find the correct number combination that will unlock it with lego toy spoils laying in wait inside. other facilities include, pirate themed wet play area, indoor play castle, live entertainment, board games and story books, daily model making competition, bricks family restaurant and skyline bar. finally, a side trip to windsor castle is only a 10mins drive away or you can use the convenient park and ride from outside the hotel. so what are you waiting for? legoland windsor resort hotel, AHOY!

We went in October 2013 for a 2-night stay over the Scottish holidays. We got a decent deal on the price due to the holiday not being an English one, and in exchange we got terrible weather! That, however, was the only terrible thing about the weekend (well, aside from having to get "up" at 3am to drive down on the first day). Absolutely everything about the park was superb. We had three children with us, aged 1, 4 and 11 at the time. The variety of rides was suitable for all the ages, and the hotel facilities catered for the fussiest child to the pickiest/nerdiest adult. The decor is simply staggering, staff were wonderful, food was great (especially if you went for the cheap dinner deal as part of the advance booking - full price *is* expensive)... The room we got had a knights/castles theme and was just incredible. Games for the children, boxes of Lego to play with, hand-crafted decorations, Lego-branded soap, two TVs in the room (one for kids, one for grown-ups), and so on. Very well designed and laid out. If I had to pick fault, it was the price of the additional things, such as the food and drink out in the park area - but this is completely on a par with other theme parks. In fact, as one of the restaurants was closing down for a refurb, we actually got a particularly fine deal on burgers on the wettest afternoon. Our only real regret was in not packing swimwear as my wife was adamant we'd not need it. Despite the atrocious weather, the hotel does have a really cool looking activity pool with slides and water guns... which we didn't get to use. Next time. And there *will* be a next time.

    Ok, more than slightly giddy...

Right, I can't lie, short of them accidentally lobbing off one of my limbs whilst I was there, this was always gonna be a super-mega-5-star-plus review. Cue enhanced fanboy-ness! I've been dropping hints about going here as a birthday treat since I was a kid, and finally, at the ripe old age of 34, someone listened!! For someone with an actual Lego man tattooed onto his arm, this was always going to be a good day. Thankfully, it surpassed even my Lego obsessed expectations. First bit you get to is the Star Wars mini exhibition - which is huge, and set with key moments from all 6 films. Even the sight of Jar Jar didn't dampen my spirits on this one. Literally the best thing I've ever seen. I'm now working out how to add a new wing to my house to create my own... I did get told off right at the start for giving Lego R2 a kiss, but I'd do it again As you go round, there's loads of little Lego scenes and worlds, which are all very tongue in cheek. Very me! If you do go, you've got to visit Atlantis - there's a full underwater world with sharks, Nemos and a big Lego Atlantis. Epic!! I could have stayed there for days, and I could write a whole novel about what we saw there, but I'll keep it brief. The Lego mini cities they've built are incredible, though I feel a Manchester section is missing... Only downside, is the sheer volume of kids, though understandable. As long as you're patient though, and focus on the sheer Lego awesomeness, even they can be tolerated!

I was quite disappointed with some rides. this theme park is mostly for smaller children. There are also not many rides and food and drink is overpriced and Qbot is a waste of money.

The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful and the abundance of cute greedy animals desperate for you to feed them is nothing short of delightful. Their animals range from goats and sheep to chickens to cows right over to the more unusual llamas and highland cows. Even if you're not into getting close to the animals or feeding them the buckets of food available at the ticket office, just watching them mooch around is still fun and relaxing. The llama took somewhat of a disliking to me (was it something I said?) and stormed at me, looking like it could easily clear the fence and gain its freedom. I wasn't going to hang around to find out. One look at my pathetic retreating hide running off into the distance was enough to reduce its anger to mere disdain, and instead he decided to spit all over me. In some sort of random heroic act, the pig sharing its pen flung itself at the llama as if to take the blow for me, and rather than reflect on the llama soaking I'd been given, I instead watched this pig take one for the team. Right in the eye, no less. From hereonin, I shall name this pig SuperPig. If you do have kids you can pretend are the reason for visiting, there's plenty to keep them occupied. Other than the animals you can feed, there are talks and handling sessions with some of the smaller or baby pets throughout the day. There's also a nice adventure playground and a couple of trampolines to wear them out on too. There's a small gift shop and a place to buy some food, as well as a picnic area if you're sensible enough to bring your own food. I love this place and can't wait to go back when it reopens for the season next year.

On site cafe sells everything from fish & chips to ice cream or just a cuppa. Toilets well sign posted and clean. Lots of basins and hand gel dotted around for after you have touched the animals. Nice staff who are kid friendly. Congratulations to the farm for keeping the gift shop prices low, lots of souvenirs on sale for under £2.

Every exhibit has multiple viewpoints here. There were plenty of opportunities to easily see all the animals here. My kids also enjoyed the animatronic dinosaurs here (very cute). Food here was reasonably priced but we ate outside the park. Parking was free. They offer a lot of different animal interactions here. The prices for all were pretty high but for a special gift I'm sure they are totally worth it. You can also buy carrots to feed the animals in the petting zoo.

They also had a lots of showing through out the day and I got to stroke a snake :). The park had a good layout where you can easily walk around and find where you are going plus you get a handy map! There have an indoor soft play at the entrance which is good and bad! Means the kids want to go these straight away instead of seeing the animals and you don't pass on the way out! The soft play was great for all ages and served your average drinks and food - one thing I will say which was disappointing was they charged me for a bit of milk for my baby! I always pay my way but this is the first place that have ever charged me for milk! Worth a visit and tickets are not expensive - look out for groupon deals!

Entrance fees (when we went in fall 2012) for adults & kids 3-17yrs old: 9.20 pounds, Kids 2 yrs old: 7.60 pounds, and under 2 yrs old: free. Extra for the Pony rides and Tractor rides. Money well spent if you arrive early and stay as long as possible to maximize the expense. If you can only go for a short time, ask about the After school rate. We really loved the tractor ride (1.25 pounds per adult) - while it was a little hard to hear the narration (it was windy that day) we enjoyed the fun bumpy ride around the farm - They had some clever decoration in honor of the Halloween season. Little Hoppington area is ADORABLE: the animal village for animal handling, goat milking and various bunnies in their own "houses" that you can feed. So cute! And the adults turned into kids once we got on the giant slide. They even have a cute little gift shop which stocks kids Wellies/rain boots for 15 pounds. (no entrance fee to enter the Gift shop) PLUS: the food they served at the Old Barn Tearoom (you can eat there without paying entrance fee) was shockingly delicious. Most places like this have mediocre food. I thought this place gave generously portioned and well priced meals: My hubby, 3 yr old son and I shared a Shepherd's Pie, the kids mac and cheese (came with salad on the side) scone w/ jam & clotted cream, and a Ribena drink for less than 10 pounds. I'm a FAN.

Tame enough to keep older kids away but still fun for the younger ones. They had large building blocks too, a nice touch. Next to the playframe was a climbing wall. The cafe was okish, nothing too great. Food was well presented but limited in variety. The only hot meal options seemed to be pizza and sandwiches. There were some nice salads too. The cafe had nice seating, transparent rounded chairs in different colours. Very well spaced out tables, not your typical softplay cafe. Prices were a bit on the high side. They had some areas with big chalkboards for the children to scribble on. And another place for musical experimenting, different things to bang on and make sounds. They also had some magnet play. Under some clear glass thingies were magnet shavings, pins etc. that children could pull a magnet over, causing patterns. There was also a fairly large track for dodgem cars. For adults there was a seperate lounge. There were computers with internet access, newspapers etc. It didn't look like children were allowed there, the notice said Adults Only. Strange that, who'd be watching the kids while the parents sat in a seperate area? It cost £15 entrace for me and the kids. By far the most expensive place for this sort of activity. You didn't have to spend any money inside though (unless you want to eat), everything was unlimited. There were plenty of lockers, clean and spacious, to deposit your belongings. It is free to use and you only need a £1 coin cif you want to lock it (it is refunded). Toilets are reasonably clean too, but I don't know if that is because it was a quiet day. This was utter madness to us as we live an hour away and the ticket was clearly dated with the date of our visit. We were made to feel that we were lying and we felt helpless with having to nothing to prove our innocence. It was made clear that we were not going to be allowed entry as they had no explanation for the mishap. My friend and her daughter were in great distress as a result. The other problem is that adults should be with their children in the bumper car queue because other children queue jump and the Gambado staff do not sort this out. This is of course very upsetting for children and parents alike. They should have a better queueing system or at least one staff member operating the ride and a second controlling the queue. The clever thing would be a proper queueing system which actually lines people up properly. However today there was a great staff member who actually stopped the queue jumpers and he should be applauded, he also really cared and was great with the children. It is also expensive however it is so good they can happily get away with it.
