The floor is a bit suspect and there's a bit of an old smell to the area - nothing terrible but you do notice it. The play equipment appears safe but could be in better condition. The main soft play is a triple height affair with climbing, balls, slides and chutes. It's safe and in better condition than the toddler area. At weekends and after school this place can get packed but, during the day it's not too bad. A cafe facility is available serving teas, coffees, soft drinks and snacks. The prices are reasonable. Tables are kept away from the soft play being behind a low wall. They are OK but there's not a good view of the play area meaning that it's hard to have a coffee and take care of your child. For many parents this just seems to mean that they don't watch their child and so you do have to be careful that your child doesn't get set upon by unrully kids. It's not a particularly comfortable place but it's a good local option for a rainy day. Car parking is available.

The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful and the abundance of cute greedy animals desperate for you to feed them is nothing short of delightful. Their animals range from goats and sheep to chickens to cows right over to the more unusual llamas and highland cows. Even if you're not into getting close to the animals or feeding them the buckets of food available at the ticket office, just watching them mooch around is still fun and relaxing. The llama took somewhat of a disliking to me (was it something I said?) and stormed at me, looking like it could easily clear the fence and gain its freedom. I wasn't going to hang around to find out. One look at my pathetic retreating hide running off into the distance was enough to reduce its anger to mere disdain, and instead he decided to spit all over me. In some sort of random heroic act, the pig sharing its pen flung itself at the llama as if to take the blow for me, and rather than reflect on the llama soaking I'd been given, I instead watched this pig take one for the team. Right in the eye, no less. From hereonin, I shall name this pig SuperPig. If you do have kids you can pretend are the reason for visiting, there's plenty to keep them occupied. Other than the animals you can feed, there are talks and handling sessions with some of the smaller or baby pets throughout the day. There's also a nice adventure playground and a couple of trampolines to wear them out on too. There's a small gift shop and a place to buy some food, as well as a picnic area if you're sensible enough to bring your own food. Scrumptious! After having these delicious doughnuts, we walked around and fed the animals. This farm is so big on cleanliness and educating everyone about being friendly to all walks of earth. What was meant to be a joyful experience started terribly when we were initially refused entry!!…read moreWhen staff were unable to scan our ticket we were informed shortly after that the ticket had been redeemed the day before at 2pm. This was utter madness to us as we live an hour away and the ticket was clearly dated with the date of our visit. I was informed that some visitors redeem their tickets earlier than their specified date that they choose when booking which seems odd to me if a venue needs to cap visitor numbers! We were made to feel that we were lying and we felt helpless with having to nothing to prove our innocence. It was made clear that we were not going to be allowed entry as they had no explanation for the mishap. My friend and her daughter were in great distress as a result. I ended up paying another £60 to avoid delaying our visit any further and risk missing activities for the day. The manager agreed to complete their investigation whilst we carry on with our day. We were later given a refund and gift card. Despite this, I would still like to share our experience incase this happens to someone else. I suspect their booking system is faulty. Odds farm WAS a special venue to me as I visited when I was young but this experience has tainted my view of the farm, as a result I will never return!

We had the entire place to ourselves and other than the weather, it was perfect. We started with the animals. The gave us a bag of feed and the sheep came running down the hill to see us. All of the animals were very eager for us to feed them. Most of them were gentle, but the larger goats were very aggressive. It's not like we thought that they would hurt us, they were just pushy and scary to the kids. The staff at the farm were excellent. They were great with the kids, giving them extra treats to feed the animals and telling us about everything. It is a beautiful, well kept farm and all of the animals look happy and healthy. We spent the second half of our visit in the playground area. The giant trampoline was a huge hit. We jumped until we had to stop from too much giggling. It's a workout. The playground is so extensive, that if the weather had not been so cold, we could have spent several more hours here. The kids didn't want to leave, There is a nice cafe with nearby indoor slides to keep kids and adults happy! A very nice place to visit and something that I would recommend to everyone, even if you don't have little kids with you.

Let me qualify this review upfront by saying that if you come here when the older kids are at school, this place would probably get four stars. It's definitely one of the better play areas out there, in terms of equipment, albeit a lot more expensive. Kidspace seems ill-equipped to cope with any decent number of visitors, however. On our last visit there, the queue just to place an order for food was massive, and the wait actually to receive the food was ridiculous. Anyone who's got a young child knows that it's a nightmare keeping them waiting for food, and there were a lot of stressed out parents that lunchtime. It's a shame, because the food isn't all that bad, but it's unacceptable to be waiting nearly an hour for it. I wonder if they're very short-staffed here because the receptionist certainly shouldn't have been working. She seemed to be suffering from a throat infection that she helpfully tried to share with everyone by coughing and spluttering over the parents and children. Lovely Christmas present, that. There doesn't seem to be anyone around to even keep an occasional eye on events in the play area. The under-5s area was invaded on several occasions by older kids, who proceeded to run amok and hurt several of the younger children. The system on the gate to the under-5s area, where the button is placed high up supposedly so that only parents can get to it, is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, since the gate is opened so often it might as well not be there. It's a shame, because Kidspace has the potential to be a really great place to bring the kids, but you have to really pick and choose your visits and hope that it's not too busy.

This Party was brilliant . Each child had lots of goes on the go karts. While they were waiting…read morethey had glitter tattoos and face paints to keep them occupied there was a bouncy castle and at the end they were given a driving licence each which the kids went nuts over, a medal and a really lovely certificate with their names on. All the staff were very friendly and organised the children well. We held it in Parliament Hill School Camden which had free parking and had a relaxed atmosphere. Claudio was amazing with kids. I would deffinately recomend having a party with him. He gave my boy a gorgeous trophy with his name engraved on it and Jack had a lap of honour. Jack said it was the best party he's ever had. He sleeps with his trophy next to his lamp. Hes very proud of it.
