We came here for the Harry Potter butterbeer cart event. We got here exactly at 12:00 (the event was from 12-2) and we got a Lego brick as our token to enter the store. When it was almost our time to enter we were told they only had sets for the kids, although the event said 6+ older. We were waiting in the hallway next to the store, that had no AC. A gentleman continued to check on us and apologized for the heat, he was the only nice employee at the store. I understand this was a hectic event, but once we entered we weren't greeted and they looked miserable to be there. We went inside with my niece. When we got our bag with the legos inside, we were missing 8 golden pieces. When we asked for the missing pieces they had ran out and only had black pieces, which contradicts the design of the set we were building. We ended up having to buy the 8 missing pieces online in order to correctly complete the butterbeer cart. If you're going to host an event, make sure you have enough pieces or better yet coordinate the event better. I'm not sure I would attend another event at this store, as it was supposed to be free and we ended up having to buy the pieces. read more

Just as amazing as it was when I did my last review. Of course I have to say it's very expensive this hobby and that's one thing that stinks, but you're definitely paying for the absolute beauty of the sets they sell here. I love being able to walk in and admire all the different sets they have to offer. One of my favorite things is being able to see giant pieces they have made to stand near, such as an oversized Bowser from Mario Bros. The staff is over the top friendly, in the best way, and even suggest some lego sets that are hard to find or are going to be discontinued soon. This store has a small table of discounted sets and some are nice however most are sets that aren't nice enough to justify a discounted price either. Overall a great store at the mall and one that I love going into each time I'm walking around here! read more

I absolutely love going into these stores no matter where we are. Just seeing all the fun kits and displays is more than worth it. There is always something fun to see. This one is no different and has a good amount of product and displays. They have legos for all ages - check out the Duplos for little, little ones if you have a worry about small pieces. Our munchkin has several of them, and just loves putting them together. Staff was super friendly and talked to us a bit while we looked. They seemed really knowledgeable about the lines, so ask if you have questions! Overall: A Such a fun store to go in! Take some time and look around! read more

They submitted the problem to their finance department and told me I have to wait for an answer. It's been two weeks. The time to wait is over. I am going to file criminal fraud charges. I still have memories of walking barefoot on tiny Lego pieces in my son's room and wishing I had never bought them. But coming into this store was pretty cool. Located in the Sawgrass Mall this store is among many that shops that cater to the many tourists that shop here. Honestly, $700 for a Millennium Falcon is a bit much, and so not for kids! Lego has come a long way. This store is super bright, most of what is sold here is not really for kids, but for the kids at heart. At least I don't think I would let my kid play with a toy that took hours and hours to put together. They do have a station where you can pick your own pieces, I don't know whether they are sold by the piece or by weight. I just loved looking at all those intricate sets. I saw everything from Star Wars to Voltron. Price wise, there are some very expensive sets, I didn't look at too mant prices, but I did see some sets that looked to me simpler. My boys are all grown and not into Legos anymore, but even they could not deny this is one cool store. read more

I was recently in the Lego Store in Disney Springs which is incredible. This is a much smaller store without the large scale displays that Disney has. If you love Legos this is still a great place to stop. I am always impressed with Lego creations and I couldn't put one together to save my life. The display that dragged me in was the intricate Hogwarts castle in the center of the store. It was so incredibly detailed and being a huge Harry Potter fan I absolutely loved it. Once in the store I took the time to look at some of the other creations. It's a good thing I can't put these together because they are pretty darn expensive. A very cute VW camper was $100. I loved the Millennium Falcon and roller coaster set which ran close to $400.00. Lego is now offering a plant based brick made from sugar cane. This is the first step in their effort to making sure all of their products and packaging are made from sustainable materials by 2030. The new plant based bricks will still it with any brick made in the past 60 years. I applaud them for taking this step to protect our environment. I think Legos are a great toy. So many kids I see today have their faces buried in a smart devices. Legos allow you to tap your imagination and creativity. I am sure that any kid that can put a Lego set together are the future engineers of tomorrow. They are also great for all ages. I know adults love to put these together too. They are a simple toy that has stood the test of time and is beloved across generations. With the new Lego movies they are more popular than ever. read more

I had never been to a Lego store before. Yes, I played with legos growing up but yikes so many options now, it's truly incredible. Sam M recently saw some Lego sets at another store recently and stated, "how cool are these, I used to play with these as a kid and now they have expanded the sets to places/things etc and have some for adults and kids." End conclusion, after this discussion a few weeks ago I realized I needed to get him a Lego set for an adult and started researching. By the way, check out their website as well. I was in between getting him a creator or architecture set. These are geared for 12+ or 16+ years and older. Some of the sets they are selling online might not be sold in Lego store anymore due to some of them being stated as retired. I ended up getting the London skyline set in the architecture series. And yes he loved it, and started building it as soon as he opened his present. Big thanks to the great employees at this store. I asked them a bunch of questions over the phone even before going into the store. Unlike other places, they actually gave great customer service over the phone. When I got into the store, there were 2-3 employees assisting customers all over, and one asked me what I was looking for. That young lady took me to the set I wanted. I was able to get, buy, and leave the store within 5-10 minutes. Great customer service and product of Lego. If you know someone who is into building and creating. A really cool spot to stop in during your trip to Sawgrass. There's a ton of LEGO models out that you can view and play with before committing to a purchase. However, keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Lego toys are timeless and extremely high quality, so the prices will reflect that. You'll see all types of sample sets on display, along with collaborations with some of the most recognizable pop culture franchises. You can get sets of Harry Potter, the Simpson's, Star Wars and even dated sets such as the Flinstones. If Poo culture isn't your thing, they have sculptures of iconic sites from around the world as well which include the Statue of Liberty, the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, etc. Definitely worth a visit, even if you aren't going to buy anything, it's intriguing and very interesting to see what LEGO has been up to since you were a kid with your own set. Just be careful that if you do buy some, you don't leave them on your carpet and step on them in the middle of the night! read more

A very organized store but this place is hard too find inside the mills. I have a great sense of directions but this place makes me feel like a mouse in maze. I decided to take my grand daughters to Lego Land and was excited for them to unleash their imagination at this wonderful Land of Lego. I heard they have a wonderful free program for children to play and explore the fun of the little lego building blocks! It fell way short of spectacular for me. First off, they didn't have anywhere for the Mom's and Grand mama's to sit. When we sat down on a stoop, the staff at Lego, chased us away, so we had to stand for an hour, with the other mommies, while the little kiddies played. We admired the creations in the glass incasements, but the sales staff paid little attention to the toddlers and so they were left to figure out how to create their own little master pieces, with some help from their mommies. With the store being empty, sales staff dispersed into corners, but I wish they would have given their little visitors a warmer reception, offering instruction and assisting them to create something spectacular! The kids amused themselves for an hour before we went for lunch. It didn't get the Ooooh's & Ahhhh's we hoped for but nobody cried either; you might say they were on the "lego" fence. The store was on the small side; I think I was expecting it to be bigger then it was. Never the less, everything seems BIG when you're little so it didn't bother them a bit. read more

I am giving this location 4 stars because the location in Downtown Disney is the 5 star location for me. Even though I never buy anything for myself, I never mind going into the Lego Store. I love looking at all of the collections. My new favorite is the Monster Fighters. Every first Tuesday of the month they have a free build for the kids. Last month was a little lawn mower. It was so cute. I think next month is the olympic flame. read more

Even if you aren't planning on purchasing anything, the Lego Store is worth the stop, just to look at some of the elaborate Lego displays. I'm not really a Star Wars fan, but the Death Star display is incredible. 3800 pieces! Their displays change periodically, so you can always seem something different. They sell lots of sets for just about any age from young kids to adults. They even have a section where you can buy individual Legos rather than just a set, which is pretty neat. They are pricey, but if you look around a bit, you can find some sale items. The service is so friendly, they go out of their way to greet you and help you with everything. We always make it a point to stop here when we are visiting the mall. read more

Rude customer service!!! My daughter was playing with the legos at the store and I was sitting on the yellow display. The rude sale lady come up to me and says "you can't sit on this". Anyways, there a friendly tone a sales person can speak to a customer instead of a snarky manner. read more

I took my grandkids to see the Lego movie yesterday and then we went to Sawgrass Mills Mall to look around. It makes sense that, when we passed the Lego Store, we'd be drawn to go inside. There was a sign in the window inviting us to come inside and create something from the Lego Movie: The Second Part, so we did. We had been in the store for about 15 minutes and were having a great time looking around and building things. Then two other little boys came and started playing as well. Suddenly a middle aged man (presumably the store manager) walked over to the play area and said in a gruff voice not once but twice "Store closed!" It was 8:00 and apparently the store closes at 8:00 pm on Sundays. I get it! What I don't get is why a store that caters to kids wouldn't train and, for that matter, hire, people who are good with kids and who understand the very basic concept (like Little Kid 101) that you should always give kids at least a 5 minute warning when their play is about to end!! Then, when playtime has ended, by cordial and kind when you end it!!! They both take the same amount of energy, so why not do it the kind and decent way?? read more

The moment I walked in the store I was greeted by a staff member offering there help. All the item were very easy to find and the store is super cute. After looking around and not knowing what to buy my godson, I decided to proceed to the register and buy him a gift card. The young lady that attended me was very sweet and made sure I was happy with my purchase and my visit. I definitely will back to purchase future gifts here. Our family had a fantastic time at this store. We are Lego maniacs to begin with, but the staff was very friendly. It just made the experience that much better. Three of the kids made their own Lego character to bring home. My boys made pirates and my daughter made a mermaid. Even though we didn't spend much, we had a great time. read more
