This Lego store was so huge, and the shelves filled with so many amazing collection of legos. In the middle area of the store, they had massive displays of Formula 1 car, Pan Am Boeing plane, Fifa World Cup and a station for kids to play with lego pieces. My most favorite sections in the store were Star Wars, Marvel, DC and Formula 1. Some of the big puzzles had over several thousand pieces. The store also had promo of a small free lego puzzle for purchase over $180. I spent a really long time looking around the store and trying to decide which lego I wanted. I finally picked the Fifa World Cup and the Pan Am Boeing place, both were over 2,0000 pieces. The staff members were very friendly. They assisted me to sign up for Lego rewards account. The checkout process was smooth. I don't go to Lego often, but this store was an exceptional experience for me. read more

Basing this on a typical 'I want to pay full price for brick and mortar' mentality. Now online will undercut these prices everyday of the week, but this has that excitement and eye glow you don't get online. Now check this, they have a cool 'bulk' wall with cups you fill and pay that price. this could be very cool, especially with a shopping list for a BYO (Build Your Own) project. They have some amazing display cases full of some sweet items, even some up to the price of a new kids bike! The Porsche GT3 is kind of the castle here and it is amazing to drool over. Mini-figs are DIY and 3 for 10 bucks, that is a cool item to be able to walk out with for some fun kids activities. They are well organized, the store is breath taking, and the staff is what you would expect on a lego branded store. Even if just to look, this is a very cool shop to walk the kids (or adults) who love lego into. read more

The Lego Store is always a blast for Lego fans like my son and myself. I tried pick-a-brick for the first time and was very happy with the selection and price. They did not have the minifigure creation kiosk. I guess because of Covid? We went to a Seattle location a few minths prior and they had it there. Was sad it wasn't available the time we went. Super friendly staff, large selection, the only draw back is a small store so in peak times, like today's VIP double points there is a 15 min line out the door. It went very quickly and smoothly. I told them the product I was there for and they held it at the register for me to make sure it didn't sell out. The box was crushed so they traded it out for another one. You know, Legos are the bane of many a parents lives. They are expensive, plentiful and can be painful (when you step on them of course!) But the staff here are so helpful and the prices, though expensive, are comparable to Amazon. (You bet I price match!) So why NOT enroll your child in the VIP to earn rewards for buying directly from The Lego Store! The rewards program isn't great (compared to other retail companies, in my opinion) but it isn't bad either. You basically get 5% back in rewards to spend in store. I've never had a bad experience here, and with a daughter who builds lots and lots we have lots of Legos! I appreciate the help and knowledge and assistance I've gotten here everytime. I absolutely love this store! Whenever I go to Washington Square, I visit the Lego Store. It's a favorite place for my husband and me both. I've always found fun gifts for my husband and my nephew. There is a wide variety of Lego sets, some of them are huge! I am amazed at the size of some of the sets. I really am. The thing I love is the wall of single pieces. There are a million sizes and colors, if you need spare pieces. Customer service has always been good in this store. I've never had a complaint. The employees are always helpful It's a fun place to go. The store is fairly small, which is my big complaint. When it gets busy, it gets very crowded and it can be hard to shop and stop and really look around. When it's not busy, it is just a fun store. Would I return? Absolutely! My oldest is obsessed with Lego Star Wars. And since this is the only official Lego store in Oregon, it has become a regular stop whenever we are at Washington Square. And I must say, as childhood phases go, this one is... expensive. We get most of our Lego sets from our local Freddie's or Target when they are on sale. But, this is the place to go for discontinued and collector's items. They have pretty much everything and the store is cute. He just got a X-wing set we haven't found anywhere else for his birthday, and you should have seen his face light up. They also have a pretty good return policy. If you don't have a receipt, they will give you in store credit towards merchandise purchased that day. You can also get the Lego Club Card (for free) and collect stamps which are redeemed for gift cards. Of course, every time we visit the store he is drawn by the invisible tractor beam to the $500 Millennium Falcon. Sorry baby, not happening! read more

This place is entirely too small. That's my number one beef. Seriously. With the sheer number of people, it's difficult to get in and more difficult to maneuver the store. It's panic attack worthy on weekends. GOOD GOD! Ok- the good. Lines are always quick to check out. They have little calendars with events. They have upcoming non-lego sponsored stuff that is lego related. They have a free build on the first Tuesday (I think) of every month. You just have to be willing to stand in line. FOR HOURS. The line builds up well in advance and snakes around the area in front of the store. It's a bit out of control. The employees are often as big of lego nerds as we are, able to point out sets no longer available and how they differ from what they currently carry and how much you can expect to find it on ebay for. They are often very helpful. Also, they have a wall of build your own set pieces! You buy by the container and they will often even show you how to pack the most in to them! Pretty spendy, but when you have a specific project in mind or need replacement pieces, it's great. The bad- Have I mentioned the crowds? Nothing they can do about it, but it's impossible to get to stuff you want often because of the hoards of un-supervised children. Yep, I have kids, they come with me... But I don't let them run loose like some. Also, lots of oblivious parents with strollers just camped out in the very small walkways. I really wish they would ban strollers in there. Set up stroller parking outside, that would free up a lot of room! And preserve my sanity a bit. Nothing the staff can do about it, but it's a reality of the store. So go on a week day. And plan to fend off other people's kids. read more

I really like this store and so does my Grandson. He is 3 1/2 years old. They have every Lego set imaginable. Many that you can't find in any other store. Love taking him in here and seeing the look on his face. He gets so excited. I can't wait to take my granddaughter in here. She is 1 1/2 years old so she may not appreciate it as much yet, but she will. They have a Lego club that you can join and you earn points etc. You usually get a small free Lego set when you purchase something if you are a Lego club member. We thought it was worth joining the club, which is free, since I am sure we will be buying Legos for many years to come. The staff are friendly and helpful and talk with the kids. I have been in here a few times and it hasn't been crowded any time that I have been in here. Of course I have not went in on a weekend. I mean, if you go to a mall on a weekend you know that is a sure recipe for chaos and madness. I am not a fan of malls. I only go when absolutely necessary. There are just some things you can only find there. If you have kids that like Legos it's worth taking them here just to see how excited they get. read more

I love this store! What a play ground for young and old! I do find that the staff isn't always interested in helping, but rather seems to want to stay behind the counter and talk amongst themselves. Besides that, they always seem to have several of each item in stock. If you cannot find it in the store they will either order it for you or you can pay the extra shipping yourself and have it sent to your house. I love the Lego VIP points. Every little bit off helps, especially when I have purchased all but the newest of the architect series ( IE: white house, falling waterfall, space needle, etc) which go for anywhere from $30= $250 each. And my current passion for the modular collection (the pet store, fire house, city hall and more) all go for $150 + each. The Lego VIP points add up when you think each $ is 1 point. And the staff at this store is always ready to let you know when the special extra VIP point days are. read more

I was very impressed with the high level of customer service at this location. It was the week of Christmas and they had a 75 minute virtual line. I thought about putting my name in and then coming back later. However, one of the workers asked me if I knew what I wanted and I told him what I was thinking of. He grabbed what I wanted and let me check out right then and there. My mom also had a similar experience on a different occasion. I went to the Lego store on New Year's Eve day to see about ordering a replacement part from my 5 year old's new Christmas toy. I was directed to Caley who offered to pull the part from a discontinued display, which she did. When I showed the part to my 5 year old, however, he said it was the wrong part. So I asked him to describe the part to Caley. Caley was so very patient with him; after listening to his description she returned to the back room to see if she could find the part. She couldn't. So, she showed my 5 year old the User's Manual, from which he was able to identify the part he needed. Caley returned a short while later with the needed piece, which she gave to us for free. All told, Caley spent about 10 minutes helping us -- this on a very busy shopping day. Not only was I impressed by her eagerness to help, but also by how patient she was in listening to my 5 year old. I will be sure to shop the Lego Store at Washington Square the next time I am in the market for Legos. Yes, there are lots of other places to buy them, but I doubt I could ever find the level of customer support I received from the Lego Store. Thank you, Caley.
