The service to start being greeted both my son and I, if we had questions what we were looking for, how could they help was fantastic. We were looking for the Titanic but most stores currently are out of stock as they were too. Our goal was to get something else big that would take us sometime so we decided on the new Pokemon piece which is a great Lego set for the value. The titanic I ended up ordering later from Lego.com because it's still backordered everywhere so I just want the reprieve from looking and have it shipped. How have I not left a review for this place? Been coming here for years with my son and it has always been a great experience. We've met many wonderful employees over the years... they really enjoy Legos and working there and have lots of good tips on builds. The store is always clean (or cleaned out when popular sets release). There are often fun promos (free gifts with minimum purchase) so be sure to look for those. Located on the ground floor in The Shops at Mission Viejo mall near the center. Tip: for the Pick-a-brick wall, you can get a 50 cent discount if you don't want the plastic cup (just fill it up and they will pour it into a bag for you.). Some of the employees there are really good at helping you fill up every centimeter of the cups too! :) read more

I love coming to the store. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. I was trying to make my own princess crown and both Megan and Marc helped me out with getting the correct pieces. There are also children and adult builds on select days. Since I'm still a newbie to building Legos these guys helped me out with my adult build. Lol. Very well organized store, always fully stocked with new Lego sets. Will be coming back for more toys soon. read more

I live over 50 miles away but my work is close by to this Lego store so I stop in from time to time as there is no Lego store in the inland empire. Most stores are overly crowded and a pain to get into. However this store at least during the week is far less than crowded. Angela is always my go to person when I am making my purchases. She's incredibly helpful and very outgoing and very knowledgeable of the sets as well. I ended up purchasing the world map during my most recent visit as it kept being sold out online when I wanted to buy it. They got 5 in that day and had already sold 2. I rushed to that store on my lunch to purchase the set and by far it's the best Lego set I have bought BY FAR! It's simply amazing. My previous visit I did quite the purchase as well which should keep me busy for a few weeks but I will be back soon. Thank you to everyone at this store for always going above and beyond. For those of you who don't know, Lego are great colorful interlocking plastic bricks along with accompanying gears, miniature figures and other various parts and pieces used to assemble and connect in different ways. The bricks are used to construct various objects such as buildings, vehicles, forrests, castles, you name it. They can be constructed and taken apart and put together again. The pieces can also be interchanged and used to make other objects. The are great to allow kids to create and imagine all sorts of things. They are a popular item among both children and adults. This particular shop located on the bottom level of the shops at Mission Viejo between Lucky Store and BCBG near Center Court. This store is a little smaller than a few of the other Lego stores I've been to and nothing in comparison to the immense store located at Downtown Disney, which is my absolute favorite one to shop at. Especially since I get a 10% discount there with my Disney annual premium passport membership. These bricks aren't cheap, so any bit helps! read more

Since November 2021 after a buying a Lego Super Mario 64 set was nostalgic moment for me, took me several weeks to build as I was attending classes at the time, & I love it. Now my positive experience now turns to bad I have applied since April of last year, since that time I have applied four separate occasions for brick associates, yes I understand that they are receiving more applications than there is a position available, but there should have been more communication with employers especially to applicants with disabilities. read more

Great toys, love the variety and new themes and constant new ideas from those at HQ. I knocked down two stars because although the employees are USUALLY exceptional and friendly, we did come across 2-3 employees that are less than welcoming at this location. Employee one tried to not let us exchange a faulty set despite the story policy states that we CAN exchange it for a similar set or store credit. He tried to have us pour out the bricks and count how many pieces are missing and make a list on missing bricks. It's insanity because there are hundreds of bricks in the set. Second and third employees just rude when we ask to put our large purchases behind the counter while we continue to shop in the store. I've never had any issues before. If I get another rude employee I'll most likely file a formal complaint to the HQ. I love this company and I hate to see it go the way of so many mediocre companies. Improve your store employees training and customers experience please. read more

This new Lego shop just opened on the lower-level of the mall just by the fountains, and although it's mighty small, just like a Lego, there are great things inside. They really set it up well with creative displays inside porthole-like openings around the shop. The back wall is filled with more portholes full of different size and color Lego's, which can be bought in bulk. My son's eyes just lit up when he went inside. He could have spent hours looking at all the different displays, as well as the numerous and unique Lego sets for sale. Also inside is are two or three stations with multiple computers ready for those who want to play Lego Universe. I hear the South Coast Plaza store is much bigger, but this one has a helpful staff and a good selection all tucked into a nice little Lego store. read more

I come into this Lego store pretty often with my three-year-old son who is slowly getting into Legos. He gets to play as much as he wants. There's never any pressure from any sales person to buy anything. It's really a nice place for him to get to play with these toys that really brought me a lot of joy when I was a child. But let me tell you about my recent visit to this Lego store that was truly phenomenal. My son had just seen the Ninjago movie and was obsessed with the green Ninjago. I decided that I wanted to get him one of the little green Ninjago guys for him to play with. I went in looking for a small green Ninjago figurine and they didn't have one available. One of the employees went into the back to see if he could find one and when he came back he had taken one out of another kit and he gave it to me no charge. This store really truly cares about its customers. I will never buy a Lego set of any sort from any place but this Lego store. They have truly made me a customer for life. read more

Incredibly helpful staff, very clean, and super-conveniently located a few blocks from our home. Never an issue getting whatever sets we need, and as it goes, the store is consistently restocking shelves with the latest and greatest. I have recently become very very addicted as an AFOL, and have brought my myriad questions to them, and have never left empty handed. They are there to support. The interactive displays are always working, and the Lego sets from locals on display arrive occasionally and give all of us something to aspire to. There is always a few pieces of Lego minis on the floor, but what can you do...that's the nature of the beast. Since I have lived in Orange county, this has been my favorite store to purchase in. This is a small Lego store, but the staff is positively friendly and always willing to help. I always enjoy purchasing at this location best because the staff is so courteous. Other locations are nice, and some are definitely larger with a greater selection. The store is clean, and always PACKED with customers. 9 times out of 10 they have exactly what I'm looking for, and when they don't I can find it online with ease.
