#1 Italian Special, with sweet peppers and Semolina bread, Sooooo Good!
Lou D.

Amongst the top tier hero spots on all of Long Island! Worth the trip! Excellent! Excellent! 5+++++ MUST GO! Leggios is an old world deli nestled in a small residential area of Bayshore, NY. Old world, yet spotless and modernized. Leggios is inviting, safe, and welcoming. When you walk in, you feel like you have been coming here your whole life! Leggios has an extensive speciality sandwich/hero menu with premium and house made deli items. You can also get a great standard deli sandwich or morning egg sandwich. Coffee is always brewing! BECSPK! (If you know, then you know) We chose the #1 Italian Special with sweet peppers and Semolina bread. Wow good! Excellent! Made with Love! Nothing missed! Enough for 3 normal people! We were only able to get one picture because it got devoured! Also, Gotta give a shout out to fantastic and professional counter service! Our sever engaged us in conversation and made professional and knowledgeable recommendations which greatly enhanced our experience. Thats right, a Leggios hero is an experience, crafted and made with love. Anything else is just bread and deli meats. Check out their catering menu too! Highly Highly Highly recommended. We will return!

I heard that Leggios had been renovated, so I decided to stop by. I've always loved the old sandwiches from the original owners, and I'm happy to say they've definitely paid homage to that tradition. The renovations are beautiful--modern, fresh, and inviting. They now offer coffee and muffins in addition to their specialty sandwiches. I didn't get my usual Italian sandwich this time, so I can't compare, but I tried the turkey and cheese instead. It was tasty, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Even though they were closing, they still took the time to make me a sandwich, which I truly appreciated.

It's the new 2025 leggios it's not the original but that's hard hard to top. They said they have the same bread. The bread and sandwiches was pretty good again not as good as the original but then again I forgot the peppers and not I don't eat pork I got turkey and Swiss back in the days I got the Italian special. The service was great! They was closing there doors and they let us in. They close after 6 and we got there 6:05-6:10 and he served us. Great guy I was talking to one of the owners he was a very nice guy down to earth we spoke like we knew each for years. Talking about vacation, business and so on! The ambiance is definitely way better they spent 300,000 to fix it up and you can tell. It's very nice in there they did a good job on that.

Absolutely amazing customer service. I placed a very large, very last minute catering order for my brother's NYE party. They were so kind, patient, and accommodating. I spoke to a young woman whose name I don't know how to spell unfortunately (Sharai?) and she was fantastic. Their food is amazing, fresh, flavorful, and all the pasta salads and sides were packed so well. They also stayed open late to complete our order since it was so last minute. We are so beyond appreciative. Thank you so much Leggios!

While they're already well known for their excellent morning coffee, their dinner service deserves just as much attention. The confit chicken with truffle mash was outstanding--perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and incredibly comforting without being heavy. The truffle mash was silky and had the perfect amount of truffle without being overwhelming. The ox tail with polenta special was another highlight: rich, tender, and slow-cooked to perfection, with layers of flavor, kind of like short rib. It was my husband's first time having oxtail, and definitely not his last. The experience was made even better by the friendly, welcoming staff, who were attentive without being overbearing and made the evening feel relaxed and inviting. A huge bonus was their espresso martini menu, which can be made with decaf--a dream for anyone (like me) who's sensitive to caffeine at night but still wants to enjoy a great cocktail. They have events and live music most nights of the week and you can just hang at the bar if you prefer. Kismet Coffee is so much more than a morning stop. If you've only been there for coffee, you're seriously missing out. Do yourself a favor and check them out for dinner--it's a hidden gem in Bay Shore and absolutely worth the visit.

They have so many seatings and the vibe here is sooo good. I ordered the Nutty White Chocolate Latte with almond milk and it didn't occur to me to wait on the drink but rather went to the seat and take selfies with my good friend. Our cashier literally went out of his way and brought the drink over. Later the Batista also came over with the extra drink since they made extra with the regular milk. Overall, I enjoyed both drinks. I found the one with regular milk tasted so much better than the one with almond milk.

I got a regular coffee with half and half because I also got the crepe and wanted to not have sugar on top of sugar if I drank a sweet drink and had a sweet dessert. I ended up choosing a crepe, they had no dessert with peanut butter in it which would have been my first choice. The crepe was okay. I ate half of it and my boyfriend ate the other half when I saw him after coffee. I found this place to be just okay, I gave it 4 stars because it was good but it didn't wow me and I think they made it too trendy looking and too hyped up. The service was also very good the man who helped me answered my questions patiently. So I liked this place but wasn't really wowed by it.

I always crave potatoes, for breakfast. So I found this place on Yelp, and it's a neat find. It's really convenient since it's on the way on my commute off the Sunrise highway. Outside it looks kinda shabby, but inside the space is huge for a coffee shop. I ordered the cinnamon dolce cold brew, with a round potato knish. I was kind of confused because I didn't know understand why they had square potato knish, and round potato knishes. But looking at them the square one had a traditional fried outside, while the round one was more less traditional. The server said the round one had a bit more potato in it. So I opted for that one. The cold brew was prepared quickly and she didn't charge me extra for asking to make it with almond milk. It came to $3.50 for a small. The round knish was $3.99. And she gave me a warm tasty one. My total came to $8.14 with tax. I saw the giant spinach pinwheel that look like they're made with pastry dough rather than pizza dough and I definatly want to try them next time!

I'm lactose intolerant so this is why I was concerned. for her to be rude and talk to me that way i decided to leave without purchasing . I make my own cold foam with oat milk so I know that it's possible which is why I asked.

I was a little hesitant after my first experience but they were listed in my LI Cafe Passport book I got for Christmas and I want to go to all the spots in that book even if I'm revisiting. My second experience was much better so I'm upping my review to 4 stars. The staff was nicer this time. I opted for a pour over because that's what the book recommended and I got the cherry vanilla latte as well with half and half. I was able to sit in the coffee shop because I had dropped my son off at a birthday party and had a little time before I picked him up. I caught up on watching Friday Night Smackdown before elimination chamber with headphones on of course so I wouldn't disturb other people and I finished a book I was reading. The seating was nice, an optional variety of different kinds of seats and lots of seating. The latte was very smooth, you could definitely taste the coffee more in the pour over but that was good, the coffee went down nicely, not a lot of bitterness. So Jack Jack's redeemed themselves in my eyes almost ten years after my first review and I would be able to recommend going to them. Babylon Bean will still be my favorite coffee shop in Babylon but both of them are nice to visit. Original Review: March 22, 2016 I came here after picking up my jacket from the dry cleaners. I didn't like it very much at all and am happy to say my heart and my business will continue to go to the Babylon Bean! The baristas did not seem happy at all when they helped me. They weren't rude but they weren't sweet or nice either. I chose a brownie to eat and got a cup of regular coffee. The coffee was okay, not horrid but for sure not great. The brownie was disgusting. I couldn't eat the whole thing ended up throwing it on the ground for the birds to eat. This place also has a hipster vibe, sometimes I can dig it but sometimes I can't. So in my personal experience if the babylon bean and this place had a throw down I would always favor the bean!
