The cosmopolitan was perfect! we didn't eat the food since we had already had dinner but if you do plan to eat here know the prices are high so bring a minimum of $250 to be able to tip your server! Wanted to celebrate while I visited at the Paragon Casino and this was an option, the menu is a little on the small side but still have some nice menu items. Started off with the bacon wrapped shrimp that's laid out on a bed of seafood stuffing. It wasn't the best shrimp wrapped in bacon I've had but it was okay, I also wasn't crazy for the stuffing but that's just my personal preference. The service was good, the waitress was nice and talked to us some. The setting was okay as well, low lighting, there's quite a bit of seating and it was pretty busy when we went. Reservations I'm not sure if it's necessary or just recommended but the place was busy Saturday night. There is beer there, it doesn't show on the menu but there's a few options the waitress told us. I got the 20 oz ribeye and it was good, huge, but good. It wasn't tough but it wasn't the most tender either, great taste though. My girl gotten the seafood pasta and she said it was outstanding. We also had 2-3 blue moon. The tab was $145 so I guess that isn't too bad pricing for our dinner given my huge steak. read more

This place was cool! The food was very tasty and our server was so nice & professional. I really enjoyed the warm bread that came to the table. The filet was cooked perfectly, I'd recommend if I return to Paragon. I also really enjoyed how much of the sides came with the potato, it was perfect. Better than expected for a Casino steakhouse. They were not busy when we arrived and usually that's not a good sign. My wife got the Wedge salad and it was Romaine Lettuce. And, very good. She also ordered Onion Soup and that was mediocre. It was not very 'beefy' and had very few onions in it. I would pass. My Filet was cooked perfectly and a good flavor. It was probably Choice and that's fine. It was not advertised as to what grade but it was tender. Also, I had asparagus and they were just like I like them... tender crunchy. And it came with hollandaise on the side. I shared the hollandaise with my filet. The main chef on the steak grill was an older guy, like me, and he knew what he was doing. Food had good technical execution and service was decent but overall a bland experience. Ribeye was cooked as ordered slight char with a pink center (medium)but lacked flavor. The catch of the day (redfish) with shrimp and artichoke was likewise palatable but obscured with the admittedly tasty white wine cream sauce and lacked pizzaz. The asparagus was. The shrimp wasn't over cooked but lacked texture grilling could have provided. The artichokes and white wine sauce We're really the only things memorable.. The food was incredible! The filet was ordered Rare, cooked perfectly. The steak itself had a tendon running through it but the flavor definitely made up for that. The fish was spot-on. Jennifer was a great server, polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was quiet, low lIght, romantic. Will definitely return. read more

This was the absolute worst restaurant experience we have ever had. For a $163 bill, the food was laughable quality and the service was even worse. Our server was absolutely terrible. It seemed like it was his first day and he never had a day of training. Our experience started when we were 5 minutes late for our reservation. Our hostess didn't say much to us but did make a comment about how she asked "if that table had showed up yet" we were "late" because we were waiting in line behind people who didn't have reservations. We were sat at a table with fake flowers. A small detail but the first red flag. We ordered water, cocktails, and our appetizer. We had already looked at the menu so we had an idea of what we wanted already. The cocktail I ordered was not as described on the menu, (our server never asked for my preference of liquor) I overlooked this detail because we had been looking forward to an evening alone. My husband orders an old fashioned, to which the waiter came back 5 minutes later and asked if he wanted soda in it. (NOT how old fashioned are made) still, we tuckered on with smiles. We received our appetizer after over 30 minutes, there was apparently a "ticket issue" in the kitchen which held up our order. When we received the crab claws, they were so over cooked they were inedible. Spongey, stringy, and disgusting. We politely flagged down our server after about 10 minute to tell him about this issue. He brought them to the manager and came back to say that he could have the kitchen make us a new order but that they'd be the same because that's "how they are made". If you are going to sell an appetizer for $15+ it has to be at minimum edible. We had to flag down our server again to order more drinks and to fill our water. The empty basket from our 3 pieces of bread and our appetizer was still on the table. Our food came out and it was mediocre, at best. The steak tasted bland and unimpressive. The lobster was okay and small. The Mac & cheese tasted like it was made with velveeta. There were 8 pieces on asparagus on our $8 side. Still, we smiled through the experience. Another 20 minutes went by until we flagged down our server for another drink. I ordered a desert drink I had seen on the menu. The sever didn't take our plates we had neatly stacked for him. I remembered a drink on the menu of about 12 drinks and described it, (fruity martini with a chocolate liquor but not the chocolate martini) he said the bartender would know what he was talking about. 7 minutes later he brought the menu back and had me point it out, as if he has no idea what I was talking about. A server at a "high end" restaurant should know a very simple drink menu. Finally, we received our drink and asked for the check. Our dirty dishes still cluttering the table. He gave us the check and never came back, thankfully (for y'all) we were paying cash. We walked out and didn't hear a single "goodbye" or "thanks for coming" we still tipped a sincerely under deserved 18% because we are decent humans. Our advice, as well traveled and well fed people, is to get your shtuff together. From service to food, this was an enormous disappointment. My family dines at Legends for nearly every special occasion. The server named Casey is always friendly and provides superb service. The food is always legendary (ha). We particularly love their filet mignon and bone-in-ribeye. In fact, their steaks practically melt in your mouth. Their margaritas are strong and fantastic tasting.
