I am really shocked that this business has received such positive reviews. I had booked an…read moreappointment with Hector on the Booksy app two weeks in advance. One hour before my appointment, he calls to tell me that his plane was delayed and he wouldn't be able to see me. So he rescheduled me to the next week. Today on the day of my new appointment, I get an email that I have been rescheduled until next week. No call just a message that this is what was happening. As you can imagine given the abysmal level of service, I canceled my appointment and will go elsewhere. The app said to contact the shop about getting my refund. Hector tells me that because I canceled the appointment in the app, he cannot refund my deposit. So now I have to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Completely unprofessional behavior from someone who appears to be the owner.

Went with similar style (off-center part) either hanging loose or pony tail. Cut at least 6 inches so major work, about 45 minutes total. It hangs with perfect balance, wonderful shaping, and so much weight off my neck. Highly recommend him. He was friendly, courteous, and despite being in the middle of doing some maintenance around the property and being ready to go home due to no scheduled clients for the day, he squeezed me in at 3pm. I've been going to that royal oak location for the last 2 owners and this is my favorite stylist to date. Will be going back again. Good vibes all the way, nice ambiance and he's making changes to the building (paint and such) to hide the ugly HVAC and make it have better appeal.

Might as well just do walk ins at that point. And that's fine, everyone runs behind (an apology would have been nice rather than thanking me for my patience!). But the main reason I'm writing a negative review is after finally getting seated, I find the chair and counter station is full of hair and dirty from the previous client. The stylist isn't prepared and disappeared again to grab the steam machine! So not only did they rob me of my time but after patiently waiting, they robbed my experience. I didn't feel comfortable and lost trust in the cleanliness of the entire place because what else is rushed at this point! Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful to other people time.
