I scheduled an appointment online with Jeff / Legends for an interior detail. Jeff waited until a day before my appointment to call me (before accepting my appointment) trying to pitch his upsell products for car exteriors. The price listed online started at $85 and said subject to vehicle size, which I understand. On the phone Jeff said service for my small SUV would run $125-$150 depending on how bad my vehicle was, which I accepted. My appointment was scheduled for 9a-1p today. I dropped my vehicle off at 7am per Jeff's request hoping to get my vehicle back early, as I had errands to run after. I was told to leave my keys under the floor mat of an unlocked, abandoned vehicle on the premises. Super safe. Jeff never texted me to update me on the progress of my vehicle or that it was even there when he arrived. I texted him at 1:15 asking on the status of my vehicle and didn't receive a response until 2:20 that they were working on my vehicle. 4:30 rolls around and I'm able to pick it up. Another sales pitch for products l've expressed no interest in and then a quick peek in my vehicle in a dark garage space and Jeff says "I know I quoted you $200 on the phone, we'll just call it $150." | corrected him that $150 was the max we spoke about and he acknowledged that and said "so yeah, still $150." When I pulled off and got out in the sunlight I began to notice that vehicle was in no better condition than if I had just vacuumed it and wiped it down with armorall wipes, which I certainly could have done in less than 8 hours and for less than $150. Please note I never have backseat passengers, I have plastic floor mats and leather seats, no major stains, so there should have been no distraction from getting little gunk around buttons, soda from around the cup holder, crumbs from door handles. I returned to the business to talk to Jeff and he came out from behind the building with his pants unzipped (it is Valentine's Day and Jeff was up a free $150- no harm there I guess) and minimized my concerns. He said he would gladly grab a rag and "fix" the issues but I declined due to the fact I was already running late to start my day. Jeff did contact me via text and offer a free exterior detail to make me happy but after seeing the quality of his interior work, l'm sure I could replicate his exterior work with a garden hose and my thumb. Jeff did an amazing job detailing and ceramic coating my boat. He took the extra time and care to make sure the job was done right and it looks amazing. Incredible result! Awesome, personable service. My car has light gray interior. I spilled water on the passenger seat car... and annoyingly, it stained the seat. I took it to a regular car wash, they couldn't get it out. I'm a busy mom and just let it go. Then a green marker exploded on the same seat and I couldn't get it out with all my household products. So I decided to try out the interior details. WOW.. I am so glad I did. Not only did Jeff get out the marker stain, he also got out the old water stains! The entire interior of the car looks brand new... and it's had 2 crazy kids and a dog all over it for 3 years! He did such an awesome job, I'm going to bring our other car to him soon too. While I was not initially impressed by the auto detailer not being at his location when he had originally scheduled the appointment time and pick up, he did have me leave my vehicle and key for pickup 30 minutes later. He was very responsive and he confirmed receipt of my vehicle and keys as requested. Make sure you call him prior to arrival for your appointment. But let me tell you he is OUTSTANDING! His work speaks for itself my Grand Cherokee looks way better than the night I drove it off the lot in January! My vehicle even smells brand new and my engine is immaculate! I came from Shiloh, IL to get my vehicle done in St. Louis, MO and it was definitely worth it for the commute and price. read more

Omg never again! Is it just my luck with these places around St.Peters/St.Charlea area? I haven't had much luck at all! I wanted a very thorough detail with EVERYTHING! EVEN MADE SURE TO MENTION THE TRIM which was the main reason another shop was paying for the detail because they jacked up my trim and made a mess of my vehicle while doing the job they did! This place brought my Jeep to me after 11pm and had it early morning and brought it to me with the exterior looking like total crap. I used to do it myself before I got sick and it looked 130% better than it did after they "detailed" it! Then dude offers to do all.of the presteps to ceramic coating to satisfy me from the crap job so (not knowing the ceramic coating itself alone is 2000.00) I asked him of there was a payment option I could make to just complete the step and just do the ceramic since he was doing the steps to just complete the job! He couldnt...couldn't.... ok so I said ok since you didn't do the trim which I wanted in the FIRST place you can do the trim and the presteps you want to do and we will call it a day! NOPE! He just wants to do what he wants to do instead of what I originally wanted in the beginning! My vehicle literally looked awful ... he said he came.by to wipe it back off since I showed him the photos that looked like crap and he was out there for literally 5 minutes and left said him and another employee scrubbed it down which is a lie! It still looked the same....... here are the photos of my 250.00 detail! Just some photos. Some are hard to see because of glare! Can you say unsatisfied Customer! You will do anything to satisfy your customer but you won't do the trim that your customer originally wanted done???? What? Ugh and I'm sure this post will be a big argument because he thinks he did a fantastic job and so many extras.... get out read more

Legends Detailing was very professional. My car hasn't been that clean in the last decade! The detail was meticulously done, starting with the crevices in the floorboards up to the cracks in the sunroof. I got my Subaru detailed by Jeff a few weeks ago because I'm expecting baby #2 any day now- I wanted to really get my car super clean before the carseats went in and life got extra crazy. Jeff was amazing to work with- he was super responsive and answered all my questions, went out of his way to make sure I knew what the service would include and what I could expect. He offered to come to me rather than me going to him, and picked up and dropped off my car at my house so I had less errand-running to do! He also noticed I was a teacher in my appointment info and even offered to come detail the car while it was parked at my school if I was working that day, which I thought was just so thoughtful and above and beyond my expectations. His prices are super fair (with much-appreciated discounts for multiple roles like teachers, nurses, veterans, etc!) and the work itself was **outstanding**. My car honestly looked like new, I was shocked. I have a toddler (enough said) and Jeff got every grimy nook and goldfish-cracker corner and sticky fold. The car was spotless. So I've been sleeping on this review, but it's time! Jeff Dumm did outstanding work on my car! The service I received was breathtaking, given the state car was in. We talked quite a bit about how long he's been doing auto and boat detail and about what exactly I needed done. He offered detailed information of the services and options available and we made a date to do the work. He and his colleague went above and beyond. They stayed after hours to complete the job for me in the same day. When it began raining, they took the car to a dry spot down the road and finished the job. He picks up and delivers your car, free of charge. The protective shine coat on the paint has kept my car looking sharp! The interior was shampooed, deep cleaned, steamed, and totally free of glitter, pet hair, girl hair, drool marks, dust and grime! My windshield used to have this foggy haze, and it's gone now!
