Upon arriving, to my surprise, I found this place to be right next door (the 2 places share the front patio area). I later learned that both places are under the same ownership; M.A.'s Smoke House is the more typical cigar shop while this place is more of a lounge. While they have overlapping hours at certain points of the day; the difference are worth noting. For openers, while they are great choices, this place has a smaller selection of cigars. That said, as I was told, for a greater selection of cigars to M.A.'s Smoke House before they close and then come over here to enjoy your smoke. And enjoy I did, Havana Sports & Cigar Bar has a fully stocked bar which serves craft cocktails. If bourbon, whisky, etc. isn't for you, they also have several beers on tap. The bartenders were both friendly and great at what they do. As if this wasn't enough, this place has pool table which was well kept. There is also plenty (and by plenty, I mean a significant amount) of indoor seating which includes tables/chairs along with comfy couches and chairs. If sitting indoors is not your thing, there is a nice sized sidewalk patio with plenty of comfortable seating/tables. As previously mentioned, the patio is shared with M.A.'s Smoke House. Lastly, there are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity (i.e. walking distance) which makes it easy to make a great evening/night by dining first and then stopping here for and after dinner cigar and cocktail. If you live in the Shreveport area and want a great spot to chillax at; this is it. If you're just visiting and looking for a great chillaxin spot; look no further as this is it. As soon as I walked in the service was above and beyond , walked me through the beers(I didn't get any being I'm driving ) and the food and made my decision easier The place inside has some cool photos and paintings and when I mentioned that to the bartender , she gave me a lesson on the general in photo as well as how the flying tigers came about (loved it ) I ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra fresh and shredded mozzarella, took photos then hit the road . (Do you take call ahead orders?) Bummed I couldn't order ahead since we were in a hurry but it was very easy and quick to order at the counter, pizza was out in less than eight minutes. (It was slow at the time, so I'm assuming that helped). I asked for a to go box right away and we ate 2 slices, packed and left. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. I'm an IPA drinker and the one beer they were out of was their IPA. This was a bummer. I would have loved to have tried it. I would have bought a single can but they also don't sell singles (maybe they aren't allowed to do so) The pizza was delicious. Really, really good, and I'm a pizza snob. Just the right amount of cheese, enough basil, tasty sauce, great crust and well cooked. the one negative was it was too salty. It wasn't just salty cheese or salty sauce, it tasted like the entire pizza had salt on top of it. I like salt so this didn't ruin it for me, but I was pretty surprised how salty it was and would specifically request less salt (if possible) next time. The pizza is delicious, definitely don't need to make it this salty so if adding extra salt on top you can X that! I loved the atmosphere. Very clean and well lit, with a good amount of TVs but not too many. Comfortable seats well spaced. Cool outdoor space. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely stop again!
