We took Niko, our German Shepherd, to visit prior to booking. The interview went well and he played well with their two dogs. They answered all of our questions in terms of attention, time outside, etc., and really put our mind at ease, especially since it was our first time leaving him for more than 15 hours. Throughout each day we got pictures and videos of him laying, playing outside, sleeping spots, even playing with other dogs coming to visit. You can definitely tell they are constantly with the pets and loving every second with them. We will definitely be returning.

Andrea let Lola take separate space and kept her and the other dogs apart while Lola adjusted to being there. During my 9 days of vacation, I was sent updates, multiple times during the day and pictures. Leaving Lola was very hard but Harvey's Pet Care made it easier. After nearly 6 hours in the groomers' "care" I picked up my Samoyed (Noelle), a champion show dog of high pedigree. I was devastated to see what the groomer had done to my dog. (See attached photos) and documentation) WITHOUT MY CONSENT she completely shaved Noelle. I did not even recognize my dog upon entering the groomers' basement. I was beyond devastated. After 4 hours the owner, LAURA GIARDIELLO texted me saying: "All done with grooming... had to shave her.....the matting was too much for me to de-matt". In reality, she was too lazy to properly groom a double-coated dog. The ONLY reason to completely shave a double-coated dog is due to a medical/surgery issue. I was appalled when she didn't even offer an apology nor explanation for her careless act. At this juncture I am seriously considering taking legal action against this groomer and THE FLYING FUR PALACE business. Be cautious of pet groomers who work from their private residence who "work from home" (their basements) as they allegedly are not monitored closely or or supervised by town or state officials. Note: Groomer's comment to me prior to leaving her shop: "It's OK, you don't have to pay me". Final thought: Groomers in private practice: NEVER shave a double-coated dog.... Also carefully read the 1 and 2 star reviews on The Flying Fur Palace and do your extensive research on local dog groomers

Please please ask to see where the dogs are kept during the day, your dog will be left in a crate…read moreall day on a cement floor with no blankets, kennel sprayed with water and left not fully dried when they use the bathroom( and sometimes even the dog sprayed out of carelessness) , and if signed up for daycare don't be fooled they get to play in a room for a short amount of time and then will be put right back in those wet cement crates. If your dog is signed up for walks it goes around that little path out in front of the place and then right back into the crates. The workers will mishandle your dogs, call them cruel names, and physically push them where they want them to go. Your dogs are not being treated the way you think, if they seem happy when you pick them up it's because they are so relieved to be out of this awful place NOT because they had a good time.
