After several searches he came across The Cycle Exchange and found the one that he wanted. The Cycle Exchange had a great website, provided all the essential details about their bikes and had very clear photo's displaying their bikes condition, speedometer and other photo's. They also had an incredible inventory to chose from and the prices seemed extremely competitive when compared to other websites. We also noticed that the quality of the bikes they had in inventory at their two locations was much better than other sites. Once he selected the bike that we wanted he contacted The Cycle Exchange prepared to deal with the typical sales process. His first call was with Mike who was super accommodating, no pressure sales and offered to provide any additional information or photo's. He verified everything that had been advertised about the bike and made his decision to buy an easy one. We put a deposit down and planned our trip to their shop to see the bike in person. The Cycle Exchange provide us with all of the pricing including the delivery service in writing before to confirm all cost, nothing was a problem for them. We confirmed that we would be their first thing Saturday morning - as we pulled up Chris Varady was already preparing the bike, it had been detailed and was waiting for us. It looked even better in person and we couldn't wait to finalize our transaction and get the bike home. As part of our sales process we purchased 2 Bell helmets and gloves and they gave us a very generous discount. We couldn't be happier. They provided delivery services 4 days later and delivered our bike in their closed truck to our home. That should be your first red flag, but, I was intrigued as to what a suspiciously low mileage bike looks like. I asked for a quote, as I waited, I ordered a CARFAX, and it came back clean. Them the quote came in, $4100....$2999 for the bike, $499 for shipping to me, and a bunch of other stuff I didn't need. You got to be kidding. For a little more, you can buy a new Ninja 500. I worked with Chris on this and he got the price down to $3200 by eliminating their "warranty". I thought out that, and looked at the pictures and videos Chris sent, and something was not right with this. His pictures showed cracked and broken fairings from a previous drop, areas of corrosion, and it just didn't sound right, probably from sitting and dirty carbs. I was still interested so I ordered an evaluation from "Lemon Squad" to have them put eyes on this motorcycle. What they found was not encouraging. They found the engine leaking oil, the brake master cylinder leaking, heavy corrosion around the shock, dirty seats, and more areas of broken fairings. Again, this is a bike that "supposedly" has only 185 miles (and two previous owners). After writing up my analysis and what I thought the bike was really worth ($1699-1999), I sent this to Chris, who politely told me to go pound sand. Even after confronted with all the information, they were unwilling to deal with me. I think they realized they were talking with someone who knew what they were talking about and wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. I just want people who are looking at this bike, that it is nowhere near worth what they are asking that they will NOT negotiate with you. If you need further proof, look at the pictures and you come to your own conclusion....would you pay $2999 with no room for negotiation for this? Look somewhere else and remember, "caveat emptor", let the buyer beware.

We are members of their rider group, and when I was finally ready to trade in my Sportster for the Dark Horse, Greg once again came through for us in pricing and service. My husband was going to trade in his Roadmaster and worked on some financing, but then fell in love with an ICON on an out of state trip and they were able to beat the price -so guess what? I ended up with the bike he thought he was getting from Rollin Fast since the deal was already in the works. Since then, we've purchased two other bikes privately. Once the Gilroy is running, that will make four bikes in our home and I can't imagine taking them anywhere else for service. What I appreciate most is that Greg and John never make you feel bad about your purchases or for trying to do your own work. They both share their knowledge and help steer you in the best direction. The shop is usually busy, but when we have problems John always calls back within about 24 hours and since they know we ride often, they do their best to keep us on that road. All the techs are friendly and as a woman it's really important to me that they never talk down to me -they all just want to share the love of bikes and keep you safe. They have much skin in the game and they do it all their own way for nearly 20 years. They will custom build certain parts and custom paint and tune your ride. They consult during the build process. They offer advice according to each rider's needs all at a reasonable price. A user on here by the name of Tony M has it all wrong regarding his review of this dealership. Yes they may not be able to get to everyone all of the time. But two things at play here. Firstly, they are a family owned business. Two brothers and one wife manage the ENTIRE operation wearing many hats with two mechanics in the back working on Polaris off-road, victory and Indian motorcycles and other vehicles. Secondly, like I said before one of the owners handles the custom bikes besides everything else he does. So time for them is at a premium. Tony M you simply don't appreciate what that dealership is and what they do. On the subject of race your comments are entirely off base, unwarranted and tasteless. A wife of one of the owners is Central American.... I speak Spanish with her! The owners speak another language as their parents are from another country. So please leave the race thing out if it lest you get a lawsuit. Especially today!!! So until you can run a business like a powersports dealership then your criticism (aside from your unwarranted comment on race) is best left ignored. Better yet...... when you are ready to get a motorcycle (most people are tire kickers) go back there and see what they can do for you and they'll have the class to do business with you despite your remarks and excel in such service.
