Throughout the claims process there were a few bumps in the road with our insurance company but Nick was there helping walk us through each situation- never leaving us hanging. When it came to installing the new roof, Nick's crew not only did an amazing job but they were very thorough when it came to cleaning up each day. Our neighbors even popped by to comment on what a great job they had done! Our house now had a beautiful new roof but we weren't finished with Doyle Exteriors just yet. The gutters that were on the house originally were gross, outdated and you probably would have had to run them over with a tank to do any sort of damage to them. We decided they had to go and within the last few weeks, we had new gutters installed as well. My husband was there for the walk through, but said the guy was there for 5 minutes, took just a couple of measurements, said a quote was coming, and left. Not even time for questions. I had detailed notes and questions written down because we have an old house, and just need to cover our bases. None were answered. It was mentioned that we'd like to replace a bow window and completely remove the bow, and he never took measurements of the walls or anything like that. Where as, you'd think you'd want to know depth and such to ensure you've got it right. My husband was never asked what type of efficiency window he'd like, or shown what the window options even looked like. The quote came through and I honestly laughed. $45k for windows and siding and we had already replaced 7 windows previously, so this isn't even all of them. But even on the quote, it's just a vague description of the windows. The windows quote was $4k more than a franchise place we had just come out for a quote. My husband was told that their schedule was wide open until after July 4 because people go on vacations. I think it's just because people don't want to pay that much for something they haven't even seen or know what it will turn out to look like!

Owner and crew were back within days of installation during a rain that caused water to pour into our home, including the electrical box area, causing damage to our cabinets and ceiling. He patched our brand-new roof 4 times before having success...temporarily. In February 2020 the roof started leaking again. After MANY phone calls, emails and him saying that he'd be over...he showed up on March 30 and did yet another repair on our brand-new roof. He never even spoke to us on the 30th. Recently our roof started leaking again. The drains are too high, the recovery board is starting to curl, and several leaks due to poor craftsmanship have been identified. Please think twice before using this contractor.

We had hail damage to our roof in Denver. Our insurance recommended Buckshot. It was a bad, bad…read moremove. The best way to show Buckshot's ineptitude is via timeline: May 8: Massive hail storm in Denver June 3: After nearly a month's wait, Thomas from Buckshot came and inspected the roof. We choose tile color and gave him a check for out deductible. We didn't want gutter work done, so Thomas told us we would get that money back once the job was done. Thomas assured us the work would be done within a month. July 12: Buckshot cashes our check. We follow up about getting the work done. No response. Several calls over several days later. Nothing. We engaged our insurance company who got in touch with Buckshot. Still, no action. August: Another person from Buckshot comes to the house because Thomas got fired. This person inspects the roof. We have to re-chose tile color. A couple weeks later, materials are delivered. No work is done. September: Permit paperwork is delivered. Despite more calls from us, no work is done or scheduled. We engage the insurance company again. They talk about starting legal action to get our deposit back. October 1: Nearly 5 months later, the work gets done. But Buckshot has left various tools and materials in our front yard this whole week. A fellow from Buckshot called this morning, saying he'd pick it up when he gets payment. Get payment? We cut them a check FOUR MONTHS AGO. They cashed it THREE MONTHS AGO. Also, remember that Thomas said we'd get a refund. So I'm afraid we're looking at dealing with this completely inept company for months more to straighten this out. Long story short: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
