I called the recruiter early last Friday in hopes of starting the their program the following Monday. She did not take my call but within moments I received an email saying "I regret to inform you that we will not be offering the position to you at this time." I was confused as to the reason why. I tried calling her three times and sent two emails to find out why with no response. I'm a Veteran and sent the "Military Recruiting Leader" an email still hoping for a reason. Nothing! I'm thinking I dodged a bullet with this company if they can't have a discussion. No communication is not good at all, and to say the least, very unprofessional. I understand they are not required legally to offer me a reason but I would think, out of common courtesy for the time I put in, some sort of explanation. Very disappointed in Knight Transportation!

A truck driver for this company hit my pregnant wife today. After they pulled into a parking lot…read morethe driver of the truck did not get out of the cab. My pregnant wife was forced to get out of her car and go up to the cab and ask the driver for his information. The driver rudely said that she needs to wait because he was on the phone with his boss. After sitting in her car for 15 min my PREGNANT wife got out again and again asked for the guys information. According to my wife the driver seemed hesitant to give her his information and instead he wanted her to talk directly to the insurance company he had on the phone. Needless to say that this situation was handled all wrong by this driver. He didn't even as if my wife was alright. If this is the kind of people this company is employing than I would stay clear of them because I would not want my shipment to be handled by people that couldn't handle this kind of situation correctly.
