I was pleasantly surprised to have our party led to a cozy sideroom with nice decor and lots of seating since the entranceway leads into a tea shop. I opted for the Queen's tea which came with a choice of soup or salad. I got the salad and it was quite tasty. Our server was very nice and accommodating. Their specialty is in painted furniture and their choice of color and technique is truly unmatchable. The shop is huge with two floors of unique, gorgeous items ~ living room, bedroom, kitchen pieces ~ and if you are a lover of chalk paint....you will not be disappointed. Both old and new, there is always something to catch your eye. The staff here are beyond friendly and the store is fabulously arranged in some areas to present decorating ideas. Great little boutique!…read more It was taken over by a new owner a couple weeks ago, and the Fox part is a reference to her name. She (I wish I actually got her name!) was super personable and the type of store owner who you can spend more time chatting with than actually buying items. Alas, I didn't walk out empty-handed. I found a super cute stuffed turkey for $6, and my mom left with a peppermint Christmas tree (which she nabbed before I could!). Definitely stop in here if you're shopping around Mill Race Village. It may be tiny-tiny, but it's so worth browsing if you like cutesy things.

We came here with very little idea of what we wanted, and she was thoughtful, helpful, and patient with us throughout the whole process! We did a few revisions (or more...) and changed our minds multiple times. All the while, Colleen advised us on what the best options, conventional way of doing things, and wording choices, were. Initially, the idea of finding invitations was a bit daunting, but she continued to support us as we changed our minds, until we found what we truly wanted; she never rushed us once! At each step, she let us look at proofs, printed up different scripts, and size fonts so we could get an idea of what we were looking at. She also advised about upcoming sales too - which was really thoughtful! To top it off, we ordered our invitations and they came in SO FAST! In less than 2 weeks, I don't know how that is possible! If you don't find anything in "the books" (wedding invitation books) she does custom work in-house and has PLENTY of options! We just got our final invitations and they're even more beautiful in person - I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat! Thank you so much Colleen!

We've done completely custom designs, book designs, book designs with her enhancements...every time we are thrilled with the results. We always get multiple compliments on our invitations, every year. And Colleen's attention to detail really shows in the final product. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I also love her shop for finding special gifts you won't see anywhere else. She knows my SIL is a bee collector and even notifies me when something comes in with that design!
