I found Doug, Rebecca and Judy to be so amazing to work with at such a difficult time in my life…read more They genuinely are concerned about my situation and having me become a better person through the choices I have made. They put me in contact with people that can help get me on the path of sobriety. They have all treated me like family and not the typical client. I have had other attorneys in the past that once they were paid off then they rushed you off their agenda. That WAS NOT the case with this firm!!! They are representing me to the very best of their ability and I couldn't be more appreciative of the efforts they are providing for my case. They have great communication and terrific technology on keeping me abreast to my status. Thanks Doug, Rebecca and Judy!! I can't thank you enough for the help you have provided me on your legal services.

We retained this firm because of the glowing reviews but our experience has been far from that. If…read moreyou are looking for an empathetic firm that prioritizes communication with clients, look somewhere else. They represented us for approximately 96 hours and I promptly switched counsel due to the lack of concern for the urgency of our situation. There was an EPO put out on my husband that prevented him from coming to the house and any contact with family. This meant he was going to miss the holidays with family and be absent for our boys' birthdays. More pressingly, I was forced to run a single parent household of 4 kids which put our lives under severe hardship. We needed the EPO lifted ASAP and every passing day my husband was apart from us, I was barely making it through the day. I believe this urgency was conveyed when I came in the office but the firm failed to respond accordingly to the dire situation. Megan said she would call me with an update and I never heard from her. I was told the portal would be updated but there was nothing ever updated on the case portal. They simply emailed my husband with a court date of Jan 9th, which meant my family would've been separated for another month! No call, no explanation, just a passive email. A hearing date one month out was absolutely unacceptable not to mention the mode of communication with lack of concern to our circumstance. I have had my fair share of retained attorneys and scrappy communication especially during these trying times for our family is one that is unacceptable. We switched counsel and got a hearing date within 4 business DAYS! My husband was able to come back home within a week of switching counsel. We are SO glad we did not choose to stick with the Wilder firm. Our family would've still been torn apart today had they had continued representing us. Oh, and worse, they still wanted to keep 25% of the total fee for the fruitless work, despite the bare minimum effort they have put into our case in those first 3 days. I've called their office SO many times and the front desk kept saying the attorneys are busy, that they will call me back, but it's been about 3 weeks and no one has called me back. Go figure. Also be prepared to shell out another grand on top of their fee for all the classes they expect you to take. It seems their strategy is to take all the classes you possibly can, regardless the severity of the offense, rather than taking a strategic approach on a case-by-case basis. Less work for the firm I suppose. I'd like to warn others to stay away from this firm if they expect compassion and want actions with a sense of urgency, because this was not that firm in our experience. "A good attorney knows the law, a great attorney knows the judge", I hope anyone that reads this goes to find a great attorney.

Several days later she returned the call, we spoke about what I needed and what she needed. She told me she didn't have time to verify my insurance benefits, but if I wanted to I could - so I was asked to pay the full, contracted rate up front and told she would refund me if needed. At the end of that conversation she told me she would check her calendar and get back to me to let me know her availability (she never called me back with her availability). The following week, she returned my initial phone call AGAIN! She forgot we ever spoke in the first place, but apologized and said she was just busy with kids at home doing school (fine - I totally get it - we're all in this crazy covid world together). We scheduled for a week later. I had forms to complete and a payment to make that needed to be back to her 24 hours in advance of the appointment, but yikes! I lost the paper where I wrote down the 2 different email addresses I was to send the forms to. No big deal though, I can just get her email address from her website, right? Nope! Her email address was nowhere to be found, and don't get me started on her forms (go ahead... take a look.... https://www.frisco-therapy.com/NewPatientForms.en.html). I was to fill out the Child Intake Form, the Consent for ADD Testing, and go to the Adult Intake Form, scroll down to the last page, and print and fill out just that page because she forgot to include the HiPPA form in the child intake packet. Uummmm. ok.... The "forms" had hand writing on them, they were pictures of forms from books, scans and scans of scans of documents all compiled into one file. It was SO unprofessional - if I hadn't been referred by my pediatrician, that would have been the end of the line for me. I digress... My daughters appointment was scheduled for 3pm on a Thursday, so alas... on Wednesday morning at 8:48am I called and left a voicemail that I needed to know where to send the forms. No answer. No return phone call. I went ahead and paid though to make sure I did as much as I could do without the return phone call. Thursday morning arrives, still no return phone call. So I call again and this time she answers and tells me where to send the forms - everything was sent by 10am. My husband took off work to pick my son up from school; we re-arranged our schedules to accommodate our virtual appointment. By 2:30 I still hadn't received any info on our upcoming virtual appointment, so again, I start calling. No answer.. 3pm comes (our appointment time) and still no instructions - So I call - No answer. 3:01 comes - so I call again - no answer. At 3:02 Jill calls to tell me my forms have black boxes over all of the signature boxes. (My husband and I e-signed these in Adobe Acrobat). I asked her if they appear like that on her computer screen. She doesn't know - she said she didn't look, she just started printing them. She then continues on to tell me that she needs the docs all in one file and tells me she needs to cancel our appointment and I need to redo all of these docs, install a scanner app on my phone and resend to her all together as one file. WHAT???? When I tried to talk with her about seeing if she could see the signatures on the screen so we could continue with the appointment and figure out the printing later, she cut me off, raised her voice and proceeded to tell me this was MY fault because I didn't get her the documents on time and if she had gotten them on time she would have known before now that she couldn't use them. Fair enough, except that I TRIED to get her the docs on time, but NO ONE CALLED ME BACK!! When she finished berating me, I told her I would like to finish my sentence and tried to explain to her why I was frustrated. Yet again, she interrupted me, "Ma'am, I'm not going to do this with you." I finally succumbed and said, "fine, please refund my money." and she did. But lord, I have never worked so hard to give someone my business. She is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with and ESPECIALLY in the medical field where everyone is buttoned up and runs a tight ship. I am appalled at her behavior as a therapist. Someone needs to come in and get this poor lady organized and into this century. From start to finish it was a struggle trying to do business with her. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone.
