BUYER BEWARE! I'm going to do everything in my power to make these guys lose more money than I have lost because of their negligence. Whatever you do, take your business elsewhere. Do your research and DON'T buy from these guys. They absolutely swindled me and now I'm on the hook for $50,000 dollars. I'll just tell you straight. These folks lied and said the system would cover my electric bill. I asked many times and the sales guy knew it was my only reason for buying from them. He told me repeatedly that it would cover my bill. 2 years later I am stuck with a 250+ loan payment and my electric bill only went down about 20-30 dollars a month. On top of that the system was installed poorly and incorrectly. It didn't affect the output bit it limited my ability to see and measure the input/output of the system. Was this done intentionally so I couldn't see the scam? The sales guy knew what he was doing. When I reached out to the company they didn't take responsibility and tried to blame the installers. They did not disclose the proper information and don't have the integrity as a company to make it right. I'm a reasonable person and would have worked out a reasonable solution. They offered NO help or solution at all. I have had a third party come out and inspect things. Not only was it installed poorly, he informed me that he's confident the sales person knew that my area wouldn't be compatible with the type of system they installed and that it was blatant negligence to have sold me the system. The company never followed up, never checked in, never communicated. They had me sign on the dotted line and I never had a helpful communication since. My family all have systems from other companies and they let me know this isn't the experience with these other companies. So again, do yourself a favor... do your research and find a more respectable company. I haven't worked with them myself but my family has had a good experience with ES Solar. read more

Not honest at all. Their sales and customer service people told us one thing (that additional OSB board would be charged only material), and then when it came time for us to pay the invoice, they charged us for material and labor, which wasn't what they had told us. We were willing to work with them, they were not. When I finally did get in touch with the owner to figure it out, he immediately began to yell, accused me of lying, and threatened to sue me. The crew themselves seemed like they did a good job. But there are plenty of other roofing companies around that will also do good work - go find one that will have some integrity and stick to their word. This company will not. read more

I have had six leaks since I bought my roof. It is now about two years post. Every time the company comes out (75 yr warranty) they try to make it out to be my fault...I paid you to do a job that was obviously done sub par. The fact that I was able to diagnose why my gutter was leaking so much over my roof (they installed at the wrong angle) shows the quality of craftsmanship and oversight involved. read more

Very deceiving. Stay far away and choose another company. My elderly mother met with their salesman and was very clear what she could afford and to not perform work beyond her budget. You got it, they did and then invoiced her for the additional work and material they added without permission. Her insurance paid over half the approved cost and was willing to make a final payment once they received information from the company. The company was told of this and ignored/forgot, who knows, but they missed out on some money. As a result, they added to the invoice for the missed payment. In short, an $8k job is now $19k with all costs and collection fees. My mother has asked for a copy of the agreement and a breakdown of costs which they have not fully provided. They are amazing! Detailed in all aspects of their work. I had THE BEST CREW. They did a complete tear off and rebuilt parts of my roof that were overlooked 150+ years ago. The work they do is outlined specifically in your invoice and any question on items was answered immediately. They were very thorough on the installation and it shows! Wow, where to start... a neighbors tree fell onto my house and damaged my roof and back porch awning. I called several places for quotes and felt that Legacy Roofing was the most honest so I decided to go with them. Rich came out to look at the damages and gave me a quote. After this, this is where the headaches start. I was dealing with 4 different people on getting my roof taken care of. This was Rich, Joseph, Juan, and Vanessa. Yes, 4 people for one roof and none of them were on the same page. Huge lack of communication within this company! I let them know that my insurance company wanted an itemized statement. It look them so long that my insurance company finally gave up trying to work with them and took the plain quote to repair my home. The estimate included the roof, solar panels removal and installation and awning repair. I verified several times with Juan and Rich that my awning was included and Juan told me that yes, this was included and that it was in the paperwork from Rich. Juan contacted me and made an appointment with me to come by my house to do a pre-work inspection and let me know what was going to happen and to sign paperwork. He never showed up. I went to work 3 hours late because of him. I called him and texted him multiple times with our appointment time and he did not respond until I talked to Rich and told Juan what happen. Juan then texted and apologized by saying that he entered the wrong day into his calendar. He made the appointment to come by, not me. Eventually, everything got setup and ready to go. They had a sub-contractor come out to remove the solar panels and this was not his fault but he showed up 4 hours prior to the time that I was told by Legacy Roofing that he would show up. I had to leave work early for that. He did a really good job and told me everything that he had done and sealed the holes in the roof to prevent rain from getting into the house. A crew then came out to do the actual roof and they were GREAT! There were a couple of vents that they had questions about and we were able to get that taken care of easily. They worked really quick and had everything finished in 3 days. I wish it would have been possible to just hire them and skip all the rest of the Legacy roofing headaches. During this replacement process Juan finally showed up and I again asked about the awning. He assured me that it would be taken care of since it was in the contract. He made sure that the fence would open wide enough to be able to bring in the materials into the back yard for the awning. After the roof was replaced they left their trailer "dumpster" in my driveway for 2 additional days which meant that I couldn't park in front of my house. If someone would have said it was for advertising I probably would have been ok with them leaving it there but no one said anything. Eventually I called them to have someone come remove it. I also talked to them about getting my solar panels installed. I was told that I would have to call the solar guys to have them re-installed. If Legacy Roofing scheduled the removal, why couldn't they schedule the installation? After a few days I called Juan to ask him about my awning. He told that there was a lot going on and that he was looking into it and that he would call me back. 2 weeks passed and he did NOT call me. I went to their main office to talk to them in person. I talked to them about my issue and then when they realized that I was not happy about it I was told that Rich no longer worked for them,....Great excuse! It wasn't all of Rich's fault. They pulled up the digital contact and all of the sudden my awning wasn't included in the quote. Someone did something dirty. I was then told to call Kool Breeze to have my awning repaired. Kool Breeze came out and gave me an estimate for $3200.00 to repair my awning. This is an additional $3200.00 coming out of my pocket because Legacy Roofing screwed up!! I do NOT trust them and I would NOT recommend them to anyone I know. Look for a different company that has more experience or at least better communication. read more

100% recommend. My husband and I are staying with my mom right now and she needed a new roof so we found these guys. They are reasonably priced, got done in 2 days, super helpful, communicated really well, very friendly and best of all they did really well cleaning up the pieces of roof and nails off the lawn. We have 2 dogs and 2 young kids that live here and to not have that worry that they were going to get hurt by things left in the yard was nice! These guys are AMAZING. Fair price for an excellent job. The process was flawless starting with the estimate, the choice of shingles and the scheduling. When the crew arrived they worked in a tremendous hot summer day, all day long and finished the next half day. They were super independent, polite and never bothered or disrupted my day (I work from home). They cleaned up everything even on the first day so that we were safe to go into the yard. I was SO impressed with the quality and customer service offered by Legacy Roofing. When Josh came to my home for a quote, my water heater was leaking, and he helped me turn it off (which i above and beyond what I expected customer service). He gave me quotes, and my claim adjuster was skeptical. Through a series of events, my claim adjuster and Josh happened to be on several jobs together. During this time, Josh convinced the claims adjuster to cover my entire roof (including the part that was undamaged). He worked FOR me with the insurance to take care of me. I was happy that work was scheduled and completed quickly and the quality is fabulous! They even cleaned up around the house afterwards. i recommend them to anyone. read more

I was a little busy and didn't get back to them right away but they followed up & were able to get to my house today. Josh was super friendly, inspected my roof & said everything was in great condition! He told me my roof looked fairly new & about under 3 years old. He said it'd be good for another 5-7 years. He even did some work like caulking around the HVAC pipes & nailing a loose shingle on the side of the house which was nice. I feel like with home contractors nowadays, they are always trying to nickel/dime & create problems that don't exist so to come across honest business owners like Josh is very rare but appreciated! STUCCO HOMES BEWARE! While we are pleased with the actual roofing job Legacy did for us, the aftermath on our home's stucco (and Legacy's unwillingness to fix the damage) left us with a one star rating. Half of our home is a light yellow stucco. On day one of demolition of our old roof, there was not a single tarp hung to protect our stucco from flying debris and old shingles. After the crew left, I accessed the situation and could see multiple places on our stucco, on several sides of our house, which were scuffed up with black streaks and smudges. Again, NO TARPS HAD BEEN PUT IN PLACE TO PROTECT OUR STUCCO. I called the salesman who we had worked with and the next day, the crew hung only 1 tarp on one portion of our house. When the roof was completed, the site manager came out and took pictures of our damaged stucco, acknowledged the damage, and assured us that the issue would be taken care of. A lady from a stucco company came out, took pictures, and told us that the only way to fix the damage was to restucco the entire house - doing a spot fix was not an option with the stucco. Legacy must not have been willing to go that route because we never heard from the lady again. Probably because of the cost, I'm sure. So they sent one of their workers out to power wash the stucco. This did not remove the black smudges and streaks. Legacy offered no other solutions to fix the stucco. We told them we didn't care what route they took - stucco or paint or whatever - all we wanted was our stucco to be restored to how it was before they removed our shingles that damaged our house. In the meantime, they sent out Noah, from their claims department, to pressure us to pay the remainder of our bill. He didn't acknowledge the damage that had been done because of the lack of preventative measures, he simply kept referring to their contract that stated that stucco could be damaged during a roofing job. And, because our stucco had some preexisting cracks in it (not Legacy's fault) that the surface was damaged so what's a little extra added damage in the form of black shingle scarring? That was not acceptable to us. Were we pleasant in our conversations with him? Absolutely not. We knew then that there was not a chance of them fixing anything and we were absolutely floored that they were going to try and get away with not resolving the problem. We were so angry at that point. We'd shared our story with several people who had told us that their homes were completely covered in tarps for their re-reroofing projects or when one friend had stucco damage caused by the same lack of preventative measures, their roofing company repainted their house to fix the problem. Months dragged on and nothing was resolved with Legacy. They were simply not going to accept responsibility for their damage. The owner, who had never even been to our home to see the damage firsthand, spoke with my husband and called him "deadbeat" for not paying the remaining balance owed and told him our home had never been damaged. So frustrating. My husband got an estimate to have our house repainted, deducted that from our remaining balance owed to Legacy, and paid that portion for the roof. We then got notification that we had been sent to collections and that if we didn't pay we'd be charged interest, as well as, have our credit affected. Such poor business practices all around. Legacy does good work on their roofs. I'll give them that. But they're clearly unwilling to accept, and pay for, mistakes they make and customers are left to fend for themselves. We still have smudges and black streaks on our yellow stucco that we will have to fix on our own out of our own pocket. I'm sure the owners of Legacy will spin a tale somehow that will paint them as the victims or that they're in the clear because their contract says such and such, but the fact of the matter is THEY DID NOTHING TO PROTECT OUR STUCCO (hang some dang tarps!), they damaged our stucco in multiple places and did nothing to fix it. read more
