Mile High Plumbing Service & Repair

We used Mile High to repair a broken water pipe, and then again to replumb the domestic waterlines…read morethroughout our house -- a major project. They were always quick to respond to our calls and texts, and prompt when we had immediate needs. The project was extensive, but they worked fast, did excellent work, and were always respectful and polite when in our home. Jamey, the owner, was also attentive and helpful, and always gave us the time we needed to understand the situation, the project, and our options. We highly recommend Mile High Plumbing!

Mile High Plumbing has taken advantage of my 89-year-old mother for years. They say they guarantee…read moretheir work. But over the past couple of years, they have continually charged her for services they didn't do. She knows her heating apparatus better than anyone. She watches what they do, and they have consistently charged her for services that they did not do. They were at her house 4 times last year. The first time to do the yearly service in October. My mother sat there and watched the guy the whole time. When she received the $230. bill, which stated they cleaned heat exchanger, flushed heat exchanger coil. She knew they didn't clean or flush anything. They came to the house 3 times in December. The first time (7 days after the service in October) there was some kind of fluid on the. The guy reset the water heater, never checked the code to see what was causing the leakage. This came to a charge of $662.54 because they charged for overtime. The second time out (13 days later) They did check the code. They reset the ignitor and charged her $207. The third time out (13 days again) They actually replaced the ignitor! Why was she charged for this? They should have fixed it the first time! These four visits costed my mom $1,245.72. Mom is on a limited income. She is not the type to complain, and would rather skimp on other things, so she could pay these bills. My husband called them again in March. No response. Left them a couple of messages and started looking for a new company to come out to check what the problem was this time. He found a great guy out of Bayfield. Prompt, knowledgeable and willing to explain the problem. And didn't charge mom an arm and a leg. These are the kind of people that we should be supporting. Not some shysters here in town!

So excited!! The VIP Plumbing team is excellent! We had a tankless water heater installed, and…read moreeverything went flawlessly. Mike and Eli did a fantastic job from start to finish. I asked them to be careful driving around the back of our property because we have sprinkler heads, and they went above and beyond. They walked the entire area first, and while one drove the truck, the other walked alongside to make sure they didn't drive over any of our sprinklers. That level of care and attention really impressed us. They were professional, courteous, and left everything clean when they finished. Before they left, they took the time to thoroughly explain our new system and answered all of our questions. We couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend VIP Plumbing!

I met with James and he made it sound like an easy fix. Service techs (not James) showed up on time a couple days later and were very nice and respectful. They replaced 2 zone valves. One zone worked immediately. They could not get the other one to work. They told me to leave it on overnight and see if it would start up but it didn't. I called the office the next day and explained to the girl that it was still not working. She said she would talk to James and call me back that same day. I never heard from them again. Nothing! Also, when I called for the original appt. I asked the girl how they charged for service and she told me they charged $100 for the diagnosis but they would apply it to the charges if they did the work. They did not. They charged me $300 for two zone valve installations and added $100 on top of that. $400 total. Very expensive for 2 zone valves. I definitely would not recommend them!
