Good communication for scheduling appt's and service tech arrivals at the job. Really bad at follow…read morethrough and fixing the problem. I had 2 heating zones in my home that were not heating. I met with James and he made it sound like an easy fix. Service techs (not James) showed up on time a couple days later and were very nice and respectful. They replaced 2 zone valves. One zone worked immediately. They could not get the other one to work. They told me to leave it on overnight and see if it would start up but it didn't. I called the office the next day and explained to the girl that it was still not working. She said she would talk to James and call me back that same day. I never heard from them again. Nothing! Also, when I called for the original appt. I asked the girl how they charged for service and she told me they charged $100 for the diagnosis but they would apply it to the charges if they did the work. They did not. They charged me $300 for two zone valve installations and added $100 on top of that. $400 total. Very expensive for 2 zone valves. I definitely would not recommend them!

He spent about 7-1/2 hours and the job was done for a little over $1000. It's not always easy finding good home service people to come to our house in the mountains. The water bill at this property was already quite high so I hoped to have it repaired ASAP. I called the 2 local plumbers I usually use and they were both out of town. Since the home only had 1 toilet I decided to Google another plumbing option and found Element Plumbing. I called them and they said they could come the next day as they were going to be in Pagosa, so I scheduled them. They arrived and called me with 3 Incredibly high quotes to replace the toilet, which actually turned out to most likely only need a new flapper system. The least expensive option they quoted was $1390! I have replaced toilets many times over the years and never paid over $200. Element Plumbing knew they had me over a barrel as my tenant clearly needed an operating toilet and my other plumbers were not available. While they were there my tenant next door called me about her garbage disposal. They quoted me over $1200 to repair it so I declined that repair and had another company replace it for a total of $178.43. This company took advantage of me and I obviously cannot recommend them for anything!

What I liked most was that Ryan always was very prompt in all communications and followed through with anything we talked about. His installers were very professional and courteous. They also were very thorough in explaining how to best use the system without any hiccups. We love the system so far but have not used the AC but the have used heaters which is a bonus if you don't want to heat your whole house but just one room. It is super quiet and does a great job!!
