I have used Jeff Brown at Service Pro for both furnace and water heater repairs over the past…read moreseveral years when I was renting our house out and I was in a different state. We now live in our home in Durango and our furnace went out on Sunday morning. I waited until Monday to call Jeff as it wasn't too cold out and we could use our gas fireplace. Even though Jeff had a full day planned he was able to work us in. He sent Jeremy, one of his service techs, out to diagnose the problem. Jeremy was extremely efficient, pleasant and professional and he quickly diagnosed a cracked igniter. It was Jeremy's day off but he got a new part and then delivered it to Jeff who came by at the end of the day to install it. Jeremy made sure there were no other issues before he left to get the part and Jeff made sure everything was in order before he left. Service Pro's charges were reasonable (as they always have been) and their service was very efficient. This just confirms the wok Jeff did for us when we were renting our house out. Everytime IO called him he was quick to provide service at a reasonable rate. My tenants said that he was always pleasant and professional and quickly made the required repairs to both the furnace and the water heater. We will definitely call Jeff in early fall to service our furnace each year and call him when that unavoidable issue arises.

I asked them to be careful driving around the back of our property because we have sprinkler heads, and they went above and beyond. That level of care and attention really impressed us. They were professional, courteous, and left everything clean when they finished. I met with James and he made it sound like an easy fix. Service techs (not James) showed up on time a couple days later and were very nice and respectful. They replaced 2 zone valves. One zone worked immediately. They could not get the other one to work. They told me to leave it on overnight and see if it would start up but it didn't. I called the office the next day and explained to the girl that it was still not working. She said she would talk to James and call me back that same day. I never heard from them again. Nothing! Also, when I called for the original appt. I asked the girl how they charged for service and she told me they charged $100 for the diagnosis but they would apply it to the charges if they did the work. They did not. They charged me $300 for two zone valve installations and added $100 on top of that. $400 total. Very expensive for 2 zone valves. I definitely would not recommend them!

We have a plumbing system Shubert worked on with the prior owners so we kept them to work on it. So Shubert gave us a $9,000 estimate to repair pipes upstairs which grew to $16,000 with no change in scope when the work was done. They have done this to us a couple of times now, and we are done working with Shubert and team. Recently, Shubert claimed to need 3 plumbers all day (aka 8hrs each) to replace a hot water heater. They were here for 4 hours for the install and two plumbers were idle most of the time. After the install we still did not have hot water, they left the old water heater in the driveway for almost a month and left a black sludge on the garage floor for a month. And they wanted to get paid before taking a month to finally finish the job. Avoid these folks at all costs!!
