A to Z Electric did the electrical in our new build. After we moved in we began to notice with…read moreincreasing regulatory "gremlins" in our electrical system. Lights flickering, dimming when appliances turned on, tripped electrical fuses, sparks behind fan switch controls, etc. We had LPEA install a recorder at our pedestal for a week and the report shows no issues on their end. Ross from A to Z came out 10/23/19 during the day and witnessed the flickering light in the MBR. He said he would start by replacing the wall control. Unfortunately the other lights weren't flickering/dimming at the time but he promised to come out and replace them if it kept occurring. Over the next few days I recorded videos of many of the lights flickering, dimming, etc. On 11/8/19 I spoke to the owner of A to Z, John, and told him about the LPEA report and the videos I had taken. John said "how do I know if it's your house or that someone's not off the side flipping the switch." He then denied that Ross had witnessed flickering lights or that he had agreed to replace anything. I sent the LPEA report and the videos to John. That was the last I heard from him or A to Z Electric. I am currently working with another electrician and we are making progress. Seems that at least some of the issues are the result of A to Z using very low quality products. Videos have been posted to FB. The number of years they have been in business is irrelevant. They did not stand behind their work done on my house even after seeing the videos. It should also be noted that the letter I received from DORA stated "The fact that the complaint was dismissed does not indicate that the matter is unimportant or not seriously considered and should not be construed as an endorsement of conduct". NOT CONSTRUED AS AN ENDORSEMENT OF CONDUCT.

Had them come out to fix my lights in my living room now working after a wind storm. They came out…read more(good man very nice, no complaints there) tested a few outlets found out that had lots of voltage loss. Fine I asked for an estimate to replace all of them and get it up to date. Wanted little over 5k pluss extras. I was gonna but decided against it. Just wanted to fix the living room lights. Instead spent little over 1k for them to replace 5 sockets and test house. I was gonna do the rest of them. When they left replaced them and still nothing. Then to come find out that they took my fan down in my bedroom and put it back and now 1 light don't work. They also took some siding off and didnt put them back. I had an electrician buddy I work with come out and he found the problem within 30 min. He also didnt charge me anything close to 1k for that. Very disappointed. For everyone here. Get a second opinion before doing ANY work.
