I have an upcoming event where I decided to serve ribeyes, and I wanted to do a little better than…read morecheap steaks. I stopped by Burbage Meats this weekend to get a steak for myself and see how it was before committing to buying a fair number of steaks. I got a ribeye for myself, and saw some fresh hot dogs and sausages as well as some local items like peach soda from Georgia and BBQ sauce. The hot dogs I got are fantastic and they are actually cheaper per pound than high quality ones from Publix. As a native New Yorker I could eat hot dogs every day for lunch, which is exactly what I have been doing, and they are great. I cooked up the ribeye last night, the way I usually do (sit on the counter top with salt for 30 minutes, 2 minute sear per side in a cast iron pan with a knob of butter and finished in the broiler) and it came out with a perfect crust and was so tender it came apart significantly with just my fork. Flavor was amazing too, much beefier than ribeye usually tastes. I also got a pre-made beef stroganoff which I ate for dinner, and while it wasn't my favorite stroganoff, it was really good and hit the spot. I will definitely be having Burbage do the meats for myself event in a few weeks! J.Ja

Our server was very friendly and fast, I ordered an iced tea and the pulled pork sandwich with chips. my husband ordered the 2 meat with wings and sausage and two sides of mac and cheese. their fresh brewed iced tea was fantastic. i loved the pulled pork sandwich, each table had three types of sauce to choose from, hot, tangy and mustard. my husband loved his dish as well but wished there was more flats than drumsticks for wings. would recommend if you're in the area craving some bbq!

The texture was fine, but the flavor of the sauce was too sweet for me. It did come with a unique square of cornbread, which was really moist and good. - I ordered the wings because they needed the dressing. They came along with it to make the flavor profile. I wasn't a fan of them without the dressing. They were also a little dry. I would give them a 3 out of 5. - The appetizer, the cornbread itself, had a nice butter topping for it. The cornbread seemed to have corn bits in it, which were chewy, but the cornbread was also dry, so I'd have to give it a 2 out of 5. - The empanadas themselves were cooked a little long, but the filling was really good. The flavors of the corn and everything together made it a 5 out of 5. They were a little pricey for two empanadas, but it was the star of the meal. I would definitely say the empanadas are a 4 out of 5 only because of the quantity that you get for the price. - The mocktail that they made was super sour. It needed some simple syrup to tone it down, but flavor-wise, it was good. I would have to give the entire experience a 3 out of 5.
