We went to see a couple friends and their kids go through testing for their next belt, so we had the opportunity to observe the instructors, facilities and overall level of service. The facility is quite nice, offering quality equipment, clean and well laid out. Plenty of space for a larger class but small enough to get direct work with the instructors. Listening to the lead instructor, this is a no nonsense studio, teaching kids and adults discipline, maturity, respect and how to overcome difficulties. Wish there was more of this in our world! Everyone at Legacy Martial arts is incredible. From Rosa at the front desk, to Mr. Strong and Mr. Bohman teaching the classes. Our family, 5 and 8 yo, have been going here for a number of months now and absolutely love it. It's a great work out and is teaching discipline, focus, and strength training to our boys. My son has always had difficulties paying attention and having a lack of confidence. He started going to ATA Karate Denver back in July and we have seen a VAST improvement. He does his chores without being asked, he's able to speak up for himself, and he feels like he could defend himself if he needed to. The staff here is amazing and in particular, there is a black belt named Matthew that Cayden especially looks up to and hopes is helping at every class he goes to. We are return students... Sometimes your life priorities change, I know ours did, but you always seem to return to your center. This is our center. It is not just a sport that your kids can practice as kids, it's a life long activity (skill) that will enrich them their whole lives. Or from my perspective, get me back on track doing exercise on a regular basis. I really need that. Finding the right school really makes a difference. This school is filled with great people. My family and I have been with ATA Karate Denver for over 2 years. We have absolutely loved the unique experience that we have received in our Black Belt training. Our family of five decided to train together and it has been such a rewarding experience for each of us. We have decided to continue training for our 2nd degree black belts. Mr. Strong, as owner and chief instructor has delivered on his promise to train us in a variety of disciplines such as taekwondo, wrestling, jujitsu, kick boxing and multiple weapons, etc. while maintaining the integrity and structure of ATA Taekwondo. My son is enrolled in their program and they are AMAZING! Not only are the instructors aware of the overall class, but they are really great at helping each and every person/child individually. They have taught my son discipline for himself, his peers, and his instructors. They teach respect and values, but even moreso they truly live by it themselves. Went here for my son's 6th birthday party. The instructor was amazing with the kids and they all had a great time, the parents loved watching the kids as well so it was entertaining for all involved. They helped set up the party and ordered pizza and were very attentive to any needs that we had the whole time. Highly recommended, and will probably sign my son up for classes. The sensei is awesome I will say that. Otherwise I would give a- or 0. My daughter and her friend won a free one month trial at a trick or treat in highlands ranch high school October. They wanted to continue. The upfront cost was $800+ but if she didn't like was guaranteed reimbursement. That was for 6 months guaranteed 3 belts. Also they try to charge you extra for testing and belts after the fact it was said included. Randomly every month and a half. In August is when the 6 months Is up. We have not had our daughter there since the end of March. Told them she did not have any interest anymore, especially since half the class time is spent running circle and sit ups. 45 minutes period.! We have been trying to get reimbursement since and it's been two months. My daughter learned nothing. They are a joke. Jason Strong needs to step up and honor his words! read more

This place is a fraud. They closed the Lone Tree location and my son was enrolled there. We had prepaid for 6 months and the owner Jason Strong assured that he will refund since the new location was about 25 minutes from our place. We have been following up every week from April 25th and we are yet to get our refund. Please be careful before enrolling your kids, especially with a prepay option. They will not refund you if they close the location or move. read more

ATA Karate-Denver is a great place! My youngest son has been going to that location for well over 4+ years now. His martial arts training has truly helped him develope in every aspect of home, school, and wherever he goes! I cannot tell you how grateful we are as parents to be enrolled with this studio.
