Understanding details such as contract terms, recurring charges, and the cancellation process can help prevent misunderstandings. The good news, is that the training is pretty decent, and the instructors are knowledgeable. And…read morethat is where the good ends. The facility is cramped and not real welcoming, tucked away behind another business in a more industrial area. Really a pretty poor location. This could be over looked by the decent training. What cannot be over looked is the ridiculous contract. It is very tightly written with exceptions that are almost impossible to use if you get injured or move. I wanted to change my membership based on how far away I live. Owner claimed he couldn't because he didn't have enough members. If a $50 change in one membership has a detrimental effect on your business you have bigger problems. He also claimed there was no out to the contract, and best I could do was transfer it to someone else, and acted like he was doing me a favor. He later offered to lower my membership but at this point there was no way I was supporting a dishonest business like this. I did buy you my contract at a significant discount. I did this because it is not worth the cost and stress to fight it. I should have read the contract more closely (having a physical copy would have been a plus) and I should have chosen the lower cost option, but the owner should have been more willing to work with me. The goal of a business like this is to keep members, and not working with your members (within reason) is not a way to keep members. Learn from my mistake, and don't sign a contract.

My boys started young, and they've made a ton of progress because of the personal attention they receive in class. Master Cody leads almost every class, and he really works hard to make it fun for the kids. We recently enrolled our boys in the Spring Camp, and they had a great time as well as making big strides in their training. We will definitely be sending them to the Summer Camp as well. You won't find a better martial arts school in Castle Pines.

My kids love KCTKD and I love KCTKD. My kids have been going there a year now. A year ago my son…read more(a first grader at the time) was having big problems focusing and about 6 months into his KCTKD journey, his teacher commented on how much his focus had improved. So much that she was able to move him up to the next level reading group. My daughter (now a fourth grader) is very shy and wouldn't volunteer or speak up. This month, one of her teachers told me that she is taking more risks and raising her hand more. I contribute their positive transition to KCTKD. The instructors work with them on their focus and encourage them to get involved. They are positive role models in my kids lives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, KCTKD continued. They didn't close down but instead offered classes online. This was the one thing in my kids lives that was a constant and brought some stability during a time where everything else was turned upside down or was taken away. My kids have been resilient throughout this whole ordeal and I attribute a lot of their resiliency to the innovation and support of Master Cam and the other instructors at KCTKD. I would highly recommend KCTKD to anyone that is thinking about enrolling their child in a TKD program.
