After a BIG HONKIN' tree fell over onto our roof & did a bit of damage, I was looking for a…read morecontractor to handle the roof/gutter repairs. Our insurance company (USAA) mentioned that Possert was their local contractor-of-choice, so I contacted them. Things couldn't have been much simpler. The Possert guy came by my house, evaluated the needed repairs, and sent me a repair estimate. It wasn't all that hateful (especially since it would be covered by my home-owner's insurance). I told Possert "go ahead & do the repairs", and the magic happened. They repaired my home's roof, and also replaced the crunched gutters/soffets. All the while, there was EXCELLENT communication. We'd used Possert 20+ years ago after a small fire at home. They did a great job. I'd use them again.

Beware, they hide extreme overpriced items. Demand their "supervisor price sheet." Not the work…read morerequest. They charged me over $3,000 to install three ceiling fans I asked for in addition, and their change orders include all work and stated as "project work", so they made it look like $500 extra, but was in fact $3,000, and only gave me excuses and multiple managers/supervisors. $600 for 3 ceiling box inserts for starters.... and the kicker, they only used two. Not trustworthy at all. Stay far away from them, not what they used to be.

The workers and home office have impressed me greatly. All are professional and want the end…read moreresult to be excellent. Communication with me was great throughout my project which included a large number of pavers and a large stamped-concrete driveway. Soon after the work was completed I had concerns as there were some areas of polysand failure, and I observed white areas on the driveway that had been tinted and sealed. But the company offered to come back in a few months to fill any areas needing polysand, and they offered to add more tinting to the driveway if necessary and to re-seal the driveway. This will satisfy all of my initial concerns. I'm very impressed with their willingness to make their customers overjoyed at the outcome. There were 2 teams performing this large project. The first team did the paver repairs. The before-after pictures I include show the uneven pavers are now perfectly flat (and clean). The work for the 2nd team was faster than what the manufacturers recommend on their websites. However the company has been in business for many years and they assured me that they have successfully done this work in even hotter temperatures in Florida, and they always apply sealer to pavers right after applying the polysand. They used Accel polysand for the pavers. I especially respect and am grateful for this 2nd team, Jake and AJ, who worked through 90+ degree heat and very high humidity. Although my property has many trees, it was still potentially dangerous and definitely uncomfortable.

We had a fairly large home job that involved pressure washing, sanding, and sealing. We accepted…read moretheir quote because we believed they had a good reputation. After it was done, there were all kinds of problems. We appreciated the fact that two experienced guys came out quickly to assess and try to correct the sealing. What we did not appreciate is that they told us the other guys were new at this. Was an $8,000 project not enough for the A-team? The guys who came out to fix it, tried another coat of sealer. Also didn't work. They called a guy in Florida who "knew everything about sealers". They tried another product and it seemed to work. However, some of the sloppy work from the first sealing still shows. Every time I'm out there, I see the lines on the pavers from the first attempt. We thought we had done our research in good companies. It apparently wasn't enough.

He got the supplies and fixed both problems. After I had paid him, he was washing his hands at the sink and noticed it needed caulked. He went out to his truck and got some caulking and repaired it. I mentioned that I needed a board on the fence fixed and he quickly got screws out of his truck and put a board back on for me. All little extras that showed he would go the extra step. I feel his price was in line or better than I would have paid anyone else. Highly recommend.
