I get a notice that the screen has arrived to let them know to go ahead when we already discussed this it took 2 days to get a hold of her to say to go ahead they never answer the phone they don't have an answering machine either. Finally get a hold of her she says the new guy lost the part. But she would go look for it and have it together in 2 hours. I live far away so we went to McDonald's to kill some. We go back over there and she says she can't fix it something's going wrong come back tomorrow. I go home and she calls me and says she can't do it to come get my phone... I told her to put my $50 deposit back on my card and she said she couldn't do that until I got there. When I got there she did not need the card to put it back on she just had to type in something so she could have done that now I'm waiting longer for my money to come back on my card she was very rude about the situation and she hasn't the knowledge to be in this business. Train the new guy fix your voicemail but you probably can't handle any more business anyway I would not recommend this person to anyone.

Very reasonable pricing and availability very good. Obviously, very knowledgeable and professional- we had a glitch in that the old door was a custom size and we were replacing with a standard size (slightly shorter) door. Dean assessed the situation and had an excellent solution which he was able to implement without delay. He came prepared and handled the problem professionally. The installation took less than a day. They kept the worksite clean and left it the way they found it. We are very happy with the job and will call again for any window needs we may have. Definitely would recommend!

Kat was super responsive to all of my emailed questions and the company as a whole was super reliable (showed up when they said they would, took as long as they would, etc.) They also have you pay for the windows directly so there's no markup there, just the cost of labor. Very transparent. On top of everything they are the nicest people! Highly recommend.

He finally came over and I was excited that I finally found someone who could do the work and was pleasant and price conscience. He presented me with an estimate for the window repair and I immediately agreed to the price and let him know. That's where everything stopped. I waited and waited and waited even more for a call back with an estimate but my numerous calls, texts and emails were never answered. I finally sent an email asking for his advice on window repair versus replacement and he emailed me back basically telling me what a bad idea we were thinking of, but he never gave me the courtesy of even a short email saying he was too busy to take care of the repair of our windows, especially the one that was blown out by the wind. Summit county has very few people who do the work the owner does, so I totally understand he was too busy, but why did he not respond to my repeated texts/ calls/emails so I could just move on and find someone else? When I agreed to the pricing I figured he was at least interested in doing the work and we were willing to wait. I also had a house full of other windows needed adjusting, so it wasn't like this job was too small. I eventually had to go out of county to find a reputable service but I would have contacted them much sooner had I figured out the owner did not want my business. Unfortunately I had to have his business removed from my realtor's recommended service providers because I could no longer endorse the company. I am disappointed that so many contractors and service providers don't give potential customers the courtesy of a quick text or email saying sorry, they have plenty of work and don't want extra work. Maybe some day these folks will need the work and I won't be using them. If you are looking for window repair or servicing in the Summit County area, look further west to the Vail Valley or Eagle area. Summit County has so few, and the one I thought was the best fit is unresponsive.

The windows have done well this far but I have one where the brick mold, part of the window frame, has cracked. Contacted gravinas 4 months ago. Spoke with owner who had me send a text with pictures and told me he would get this ordered. A month went by with nothing. Called and the warranty person there, Tausha, told me it never got ordered, then told me I don't have lifetime guarantee but a limited warranty, I stated nope, I have the paperwork to show this. Then she tells me factory won't cover this but will see what she can do. Then get an email saying they will get it ordered and installed. Months go by, appointments to install keep getting canceled by them, and this goes on for two months. Then finally after 4 months the window guy shows with weatherstripping in his hand! I said that is not what needs to be fixed, he agrees. Call Tausha who tries to tell me that factory recommends installing this weather stripping to avoid more cracking. Umm what? I said that is not what needs fixed and was told you had ordered the brick mold around the window. Her response is "you want the brick mold replaced?" Umm, yes, that's what is cracked! Then she tells me well the warranty doesn't cover that. lol I ask for the owner to speak with him. Puts me on hold for 5 minutes then comes back on saying the owner will call you and come out and look and you guys can talk about it. Great! Well owner has yet to call or show up. Don't get suckered by this company with promises of lifetime warranty just to sell you windows. They lie 1000%! The roof was still leaking came back again put some tar on it left again, still leaking, he came back a third time and managed to fix it. Within a year I noticed the tiles were coming up on one corner. By the third year I started having roofing companies ask me if I needed my roof repaired as lots of tiles where coming up. I called johnson and Adam came back over and said he would see what he could do to have it repaired and would get back to us. He never called back, I called the company to complain and have someone else look at it but they sent Adam back over. He told us to put in a warranty claim on the tiles as he thought it was the tiles, but it is not. As you can see from the attached pictures, it is the workmanship of the company. The tiles are supposed to last for 15 years minimum. This company will only guarantee the work for two years. It has been five years and one month and the roofing tiles are coming up everywhere and i will need a new roof.

We had a total of 2 visits in the "showroom" and only worked with one designer, Taylin. (Who has since terminated her working relationship with this business) . During our second visit, we asked that more specific language, be added to the pending contract. She did not agree to make any addendums to the contract. She continued to state to us that there were allowances in the contract that would take care of everything. We had wanted to be perfectly clear about everything ..sizes, shapes, quality, brand names of products, etc. The only comment made to us was that if our choices of fixtures, tile, ect. go over the allowance, it would be added to the cost of the project. We had hoped for a water tight quote on the cost of the renovation project. We never received an offer to move forward in a transition process with the owner and a "new designer" (??). We were advised that the owner would be "available" to us if need be. You stated in your recent comment that you "reached out to set an appointment with (us), the owner and "our" designer". This is not a true statement. You stated that "our designer" offered a "same day meeting". Again, this is a false statement. We are completely unaware of a new "designer". I do not intend to get into a conflict with this business. I believe they have us confused with another client, as so many statements made by Christina in her post do not relate to our situation. My final comment is "buyer beware"........

Before we decided to go with Summit Kitchen & Bath, we interviewed other kitchen/bath contractors…read morein Summit County and in the Denver metro area. Having experienced past issues with contractors, this time, we needed to be especially careful. Ultimately, we were most impressed with Summit Kitchen and Bath's enthusiasm and resume of work in Shock Hill and other Summit County neighborhoods. Greg has worked on high end kitchens/baths for decades and we knew Brenda before we bought this house. After spending time with Greg and Brenda, we could tell they loved their work and were good at it. Our Eagle's Nest home has an odd kitchen which felt disproportionately small for this almost 4000 sqft home. We believed it was inevitable that we would need to tear out walls to make the kitchen feel proportional to the house. Greg and Brenda were actually excited about the challenges that came with this kitchen remodel. They came up with exceptionally creative design features incorporating elements we never considered. Only someone with Greg's experience could have come up with ideas to make our kitchen finally feel proportional to the house using the same space -- no walls needed to be torn out and he found additional space for cabinets we never considered. Summit's selections of granite, cabinets, hardware, etc. were virtually unlimited. Greg has access to virtually anything. Summit also has connections with many other businesses in Summit County. With Greg and Brenda's referral, we got a great deal on outstanding appliances. After they were done, the kitchen flowed perfectly with the remainder of the house and, based upon the opinion of a real estate broker, enhanced the value of the house more than 4 times the total cost of the renovation. Greg and Brenda were exceptional in coordinating their workers, the various aspects of a renovation, and in sticking to their promised schedule. During the tear out, an unexpected and time-consuming plumbing issue surfaced which could not have been anticipated (bad design not to code when the house was first built); yet, Greg and Brenda were still able to maintain the schedule they promised. They anticipated the unexpected in their scheduling! We were away during much of the renovation. Before we thought to ask for an update, Brenda contacted us with an update. She kept us well informed at every stage of the process. Summit's workers were meticulous in keeping the rest of the home shielded from the construction project. Summit's price for the entire tear out and rebuild was very competitive with even Denver contractors who have much more competition. This has been the best contracting experience we have ever encountered. These folks know what they are doing, love what they do, and do it well!!
