Finally get a hold of her she says the new guy lost the part. But she would go look for it and have it together in 2 hours. I live far away so we went to McDonald's to kill some. We go back over there and she says she can't fix it something's going wrong come back tomorrow. I go home and she calls me and says she can't do it to come get my phone... I told her to put my $50 deposit back on my card and she said she couldn't do that until I got there. When I got there she did not need the card to put it back on she just had to type in something so she could have done that now I'm waiting longer for my money to come back on my card she was very rude about the situation and she hasn't the knowledge to be in this business. Train the new guy fix your voicemail but you probably can't handle any more business anyway I would not recommend this person to anyone.

Obviously, very knowledgeable and professional- we had a glitch in that the old door was a custom size and we were replacing with a standard size (slightly shorter) door. Dean assessed the situation and had an excellent solution which he was able to implement without delay. He came prepared and handled the problem professionally. The installation took less than a day. They kept the worksite clean and left it the way they found it. We are very happy with the job and will call again for any window needs we may have. Definitely would recommend!

He presented me with an estimate for the window repair and I immediately agreed to the price and let him know. That's where everything stopped. I waited and waited and waited even more for a call back with an estimate but my numerous calls, texts and emails were never answered. I finally sent an email asking for his advice on window repair versus replacement and he emailed me back basically telling me what a bad idea we were thinking of, but he never gave me the courtesy of even a short email saying he was too busy to take care of the repair of our windows, especially the one that was blown out by the wind. Summit county has very few people who do the work the owner does, so I totally understand he was too busy, but why did he not respond to my repeated texts/ calls/emails so I could just move on and find someone else? When I agreed to the pricing I figured he was at least interested in doing the work and we were willing to wait. I also had a house full of other windows needed adjusting, so it wasn't like this job was too small. I eventually had to go out of county to find a reputable service but I would have contacted them much sooner had I figured out the owner did not want my business. Unfortunately I had to have his business removed from my realtor's recommended service providers because I could no longer endorse the company. I am disappointed that so many contractors and service providers don't give potential customers the courtesy of a quick text or email saying sorry, they have plenty of work and don't want extra work. Maybe some day these folks will need the work and I won't be using them. If you are looking for window repair or servicing in the Summit County area, look further west to the Vail Valley or Eagle area. Summit County has so few, and the one I thought was the best fit is unresponsive.

There is no extra "trim coil" at the top to fill the opening. (note: some trim coil is required around any window frame along with insulation and sealant.) I am updating my rating to 4/5 to account for the trouble I had convincing them this was the right thing to do. Kudos to Lifetime Windows for ultimately replacing this at their expense. I will report the same to the BBB. FYI, nobody asked me to update my review. I only want to be fair and complete. The windows they sold me are very nice. The window itself was never in question; just a problem with my measure and install.

My experience is not what I expected from Costco, Marvin and Lifetime.

Then she tells me factory won't cover this but will see what she can do. Then get an email saying they will get it ordered and installed. Months go by, appointments to install keep getting canceled by them, and this goes on for two months. Then finally after 4 months the window guy shows with weatherstripping in his hand! I said that is not what needs to be fixed, he agrees. Call Tausha who tries to tell me that factory recommends installing this weather stripping to avoid more cracking. Umm what? I said that is not what needs fixed and was told you had ordered the brick mold around the window. Her response is "you want the brick mold replaced?" Umm, yes, that's what is cracked! Then she tells me well the warranty doesn't cover that. lol I ask for the owner to speak with him. Puts me on hold for 5 minutes then comes back on saying the owner will call you and come out and look and you guys can talk about it. Great! Well owner has yet to call or show up. We paid extra for tiles that had a 15 year warranty. As soon as they finished the job I noticed a leak in roof so I called Adam the project manager. He came over did something and left. The roof was still leaking came back again put some tar on it left again, still leaking, he came back a third time and managed to fix it. Within a year I noticed the tiles were coming up on one corner. By the third year I started having roofing companies ask me if I needed my roof repaired as lots of tiles where coming up. I called johnson and Adam came back over and said he would see what he could do to have it repaired and would get back to us. He never called back, I called the company to complain and have someone else look at it but they sent Adam back over. He told us to put in a warranty claim on the tiles as he thought it was the tiles, but it is not. As you can see from the attached pictures, it is the workmanship of the company. The tiles are supposed to last for 15 years minimum. This company will only guarantee the work for two years. It has been five years and one month and the roofing tiles are coming up everywhere and i will need a new roof.

They are an excellent replacement for our original. We got an estimate from another window company, and it was TWICE the cost of CCE's estimate. This is January 2025 so weather is not good. It was a factor in the length of the installation, but it went very well, and the windows look great.
