My mom moved to independent living where they did crafts, entertainment, weekly outings, etc. When…read moreshe first moved there the food was good and she was kept busy enough. The rent went up about 5% every year, ouch. When mom got a little more needy they pretty much ignored her and let her sleep often with wet undies. She then got the flu and had to be hospitalized. Then she was moved to Memory Care bldg. Her care went down in a fast spiral. Her clothes altho marked were disappearing or co?e back wrinkled and shrunken. Often getting other people's clothes instead. As much as I complained her clothes never seemed to reappear. The cost of living there went sky high and they stopped taking her out for outings. I was stuck because it wouldn't be good to move her at this point.Trying to make this story quick. The quality of food went way down. Her room was often not clean. I was told they cleaned once a week. I didn't. see that. She would have nothing to do but walk the halls alone at night mostly. I now had to pay for incontinence needs, which became costly as I could no longer supply it myself and was charged to have their supplier send them as they felt was needed. She started falling and I would get calls at all hours to tell me she fell. Eventually she fell and broke her hip which lead to her having to get transferred from the hospital to a nursing home as Crimson/Perigrine wasn't equipped to care for her. Sadly, she passed away 4 months later. I was so disappointed. When I first looked for a place for mom to get good care and be happy they had a very good rating. Things could have been different. They went under new management(Perigrine) and prices went up,label of care went down. I felt so helpless. I wish I could have moved her. :-( I am so sorry we spent so much time and money for such poor care. I think mom could still be alive had she recieved better care

The people who work there are good and kind and happy. Excellent response to quality of care. This is a step below skilled Nursing and is beautiful, clean, nicely furnished and homey. If I had to be placed for any reason I would choose here. Good job Crimson Ridge. Keep up the guality work.

Sadly we were given incorrect information prior to admissions, on some services they offered. They…read moreclaimed to have front desk service 7 days a week from 8-8pm ( still posted on website), when werkenders leave at 4 or 5. We were told a drink/snack cart went to residents rooms at 7pm daily, that was incorrect. We were told 90% of the Food was "fresh and chef prepared", that is untrue. Mostly frozen, canned, processed food. There are many high ranking employees working there who happen to all be related to each other. You cannot meet with or speak with "Directors" of any department during business hours due to them being in meetings (parties, luncheons and some meetings). Trying to schedule a meeting is impossible due to them always having "meetings." Any concern you have gets a head shake and dismissed. There is no follow up or accountability because they are related. When you send the Executive Director an email and never hear back, to find out ( by my own inquiry) that she passed it on to someone else to work on, no answer, no response, no "I forwarded it to ...., and she is looking into it and will get back to you." We were told the delivery pharmacy delivers 24/7, that's not true. Twice they took 36-48 hours to deliver medication that the resident needed. They forgot to call the lab to have a blood draw for a resident prior to chemo. They also didn't give the chemo patient the prescribed medication the day after chemo, to prevent her from getting sick. The orders from the doctor were written out so a 5 year old could read and understand. Actually they were typed out. Three med techs verified the order AND still never put it in to administer medication. For $5050 a month, they can do much better being a 52 bed facility. And Directors should be accessible at any time, even while at an "employee appreciation lunch" at Bar Louie!
