I love this place. I dine here two or three times every business trip I've had to the area for the last four years or so. I've not written a review of Leftovers before this because my experience with their food has a been a single dish, their sweet potato crusted fish. It's so good, I've ordered it over and over. But this last visit I forced myself to sample a wider variety of their offerings. And based on those trials, I have not lost any of my high regard for this establishment. The sweet potato crusted fish is a staple on the menu, although the underlying fish choices are seasonal. My favorite would be Hogsnapper, but I've enjoyed the preparation with several other fish varieties including dolphin, tripletail, yellow snapper and opah. The dish has secondary appeal to my low-carb disposition as the generous fish portion is served over a even more generous salad that is nicely dressed.....no oozing with dressing. As for the other dishes I've enjoyed recently, they were all specials which won't be on the ever-changing menu in the future. Dining alone, and because a wait is often required for a table, I've almost always sat at the kitchen bar. I enjoy observing the cooks at work and have found several to be quite congenial. I have relied on them to suggest a dish every time I deviated from my regular sweet potato fish dish. They have never failed me. So my recommendation is to go with the flow and let them tell you what is especially good that evening. read more

I'm not sure I've eaten anything at this restaurant that wasn't delicious. We've gone at least 4-5 times since moving to Florida and everything is great, the seafood, the vibe, the staff. The main menu is expansive but the specials menu is just as expansive. read more

I used to like this place so much well tonite they Fuck up my order and my son order meaning they totally forgot about our order and they under cook our food, the manager came out apologize and offer soup. The energy and buzz when you're entering this place is palpable. It's obvious the employees are very happy to be here - everyone is all smiles and busy working. I've never quite experienced another place like it! The crusted fish, highly recommended, was awesome. The portion was big enough to split. Very fresh and a great texture. If you prefer less sauce on the fish and less dressing on the salad, tell your server. The fried fish/shrimp/scallops wasn't their best dish (the texture / taste was off for both the seafood and the fried batter). It's OK; we would happy to come back because of the fantastic staff and try something else because clearly they are doing some good things here. read more

Had lunch at Leftovers Cafe on Saturday afternoon. Started with the Fried Brussel Sprouts, then shared the Jupiter's Famous Indoroni, and the Sweet Potato Crusted Snapper. Quality The first thing I have to compliment Leftovers Cafe on is their awesome options. Looking at the menu there was hardly anything I did not want to order. A creative mix of seafood dishes, items that you know will be fresh. We decided to start with the Fried Brussel Sprouts. They came with a mix of tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, red onions, and this lemon basil sauce with roasted peppers. I am not big on brussel sprouts, but these were great. Such a excellent mix of flavor to compliment the center of the dish. Next up for me was Jupiter's Famous Indoroni, which they lovingly call grown up mac-n-cheese. Their version was filled with chicken, red onion, fresh garlic, sriracha chili, and a homemade cheese sauce. It does not look like the prettiest dish, but it is quite tasty. The only component I did not love was the chicken, which was overcooked and came out too chewy. We saved the best for last though, as the Sweet Potato Crusted Snapper was incredible. Everything I want out of my fish, including an incredible crust that added both texture and a little sweetness. You would be missing out if you did not select at least one fish item to try. Quantity We did not even come close to finishing the dishes we ordered. The Fried Brussel Sprouts should have been a warning that they do not skimp on the dishes, but I was simply not prepared for the gigantic bowl of Jupiter's Famous Indoroni or the huge serving of fish. Value The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality and huge portion sizes. Expect to pay a little more for the fish, but that comes with getting the freshest of seafood. Ambiance Leftovers Cafe is located in Jupiter close to the Downtown Abacoa area. It is found inside a larger strip mall. The first thing you notice about the place is the massive collection of brewery stickers that fill up the door. Yes they certainly do have beer. Inside the space is long and relatively narrow. They have a bar overlooking the open kitchen to the right and lots of high-tops that run parallel to the left wall. Towards the front they had a live musician who was playing some country rock songs. They had a few televisions inside and the walls were covered with beach and ocean themed artwork and beer signs. Because we had the dog we ended up on the back patio. Here they had a small collection of tables as well as some very helpful fans. Crowd The restaurant was very busy for lunch and I assume it gets packed for dinner. There is just a level of authenticity that is impossible not to love about Leftovers Cafe. It was filled with Jupiter locals, most of whom looked like they had recently got off a boat or were going to hop on one after the meal. And while there were a good deal of groups, I did not see a whole lot of families. I also appreciated the small outdoor patio that allowed us to have our dog. Service I am convinced the outdoor area was not necessarily planned, but was the result of needing more seats and a dog-friendly area. However, despite being placed back here with only one other group they did not forget about us. Our waitress was constantly checking in and was very nice. Parking The restaurant is part of a larger shopping center. There is plenty of parking for all the different nearby businesses. Extra Leftovers Cafe was a great surprise as I would not necessarily associate Jupiter with great food. But this place serves up some creative, fresh, and delicious dishes. It is easy to see why it is a hit with locals and a worthy stop for hungry visitors. read more

We just found this culinary gem tonight, and boy are we happy we did!!! Hubby and I both said if we were local, that this would be our go to spot! This restaurant did not miss on anything, Service-Outstanding everyone was extremely nice and approachable. The food(I consider myself a snob), was over the top outstanding in freshness, preparation, flavor, correct temperature. Just WOW!! The seafood was so delicious, and my husbands was just as good. If you like blackened seafood, get it you won't be disappointed. The salad was excellent as was the dressing. Do save room for dessert. I NEVER get dessert but I did tonight and I am so glad I did. White Chocolate Coconut Creme Brulee Cheese Cake..... Yes Please and Thank you!! LOL! I a little bite of heaven right here. Absolutely not to be missed! We'd been to Food Shack, their sister restaurant, several times, but hadn't yet made it to this venue. We were there for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We started with the grilled avocado, which was excellent and perfect to share. Then, one of us got a greek salad with mixed seafood grill while the other did the same protein in a red pepper broth ... oh my! Both were delicious! I haven't been in a few years because I purchased a bottled sauce I didn't like, but will go soon to bone up on any improvements. It's actually in North Palm Beach, not West Palm Beach (in the newly renovated Crystal Tree mall) near the Gemini Club and Old Port Cove condominiums... It's actually a fresh locally caught seafood Deli w/seating ~ what's not to like about fresh Atlantic local seafood ~ yum... BUT expect to pay the price They also sell bottled sauces, etcetera... I just love this place! Great fish sandwiches! My first visit was a year ago. But when I was back in town here last week.....it was our "go to" place to get a delicious fish sandwich! 2 of us had the grouper and 2 had the mahi. Both were yummy. Oh, and don't forget their delicious French Fries! Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Craft beers were good too. I guess I will be returning here again the next time I'm in town.
